According to reviews, Halloumi cheese stix and hummus were highly recommended. Halloumi stix were cold and sauces (yogurt based sauce and jam, were just 'okay'). For those looking to enjoy some Mediterranean food in Miami the Icon is the place to go. Everything we ordered surpassed my expectations. Everything on the menu is homemade & taste super fresh. We started off with the goat cheese fingers & fries. We then ordered some of their amazing homemade Hummus with Samoon bread (Pita Bread) & some falafel. For our entrees we ordered a rice bowl and a samoon bread sandwich. Baklava for dessert was amazing! To be honest it's the best I've ever had! I almost forgot to mention, we also had some red wine along with our meal. They have an extensive selection of wine ready to enjoy. Overall, The vibes/energy in this establishment was great! Pretty good falafel. Ordered the Viba pita which is the falafel and got the sriracha tahini and garlic sauce in it which was really good. I like that the falafel is fried on the spot so you know it's fresh. We also got the halloumi cheese stix which was really good. The mint sauce with it and the fig jam was good. It was my first time having a fig jam. The craft soda bar is also unique. The only con about this place is the price, $12.90 for a falafel where most places I'm used to paying $3-$6 max. They should have a smaller size that costs less. I couldn't finish mine and the rest went to waste. read more

I loved coming here! I built my own bowl and tried the steak & falafel fries. I loved the falafel, they were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything tasted really homemade and I loved the area it was in. There were so many options on the menu and you are able to customize it so you can add what you want. Let's get something straight: it's REALLY hard to beat good shawarma. Like really, really hard. This happens to fall into the category of one of my absolute favorite foods, and these guys are doing everything right! The house special, "The Esquire" is just outstanding! It's a large pita stuffed with chicken shawarma, french fries parsley, tomatoes, cucumbers, and some dynamite sriracha garlic sauce. I always choose to sub the plain garlic sauce with the sriracha to give it a little bit more spice, but the regular garlic sauce is also outstanding! I've been a few times now, and have only ever gotten this as an entree.. boring, I know, but when you find something this good you don't change it. Where I have had some variance is on the sides that I order with my shawarma. The best one that I have ordered to this point were definitely the halloumi cheese sticks which come with a fig jam that is the ultimate sweet/salty combo. The only problem is you need a 3 hour nap after finishing all of this, but I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on your prerogative. I have also had the hummus, which is very solid hummus, but hummus is not necessarily my favorite side in the world so it's unlikely that I would order again. The loaded fries are also quite good, however the batch that I got had too much "stuff" (tomatoes, onion, feta, olives, and bell peppers) compared to the amount of fries. With a better balance here, it would be an epic side! The fries themselves are outstanding, hence why I always order them on my pita. I couldn't be more excited to have these guys within a 10 minute walk from my place, and will be a frequent customer! read more

Very solid option for shawarma in Wynwood. It was fresh and well made. For my taste it was a little over-garlicky, but that's personal preference. It was also fairly well presented. I ordered a chicken and rice bowl from Stackz and it was quite good.... but I'm not sure why it wasn't filled up, I mean part of my bowl was just bowl and I was surprised but more upset because it was really good. At Stackz everything is easily customizable at the self ordering kiosk and some of the additions can easily drive up the price but are worth it because they are excellent. Falafel can often be dry but their made in house was not and is worth going back for. Even the basmati rice was worth going back for. We found this place on Yelp and stopped in after a visit to Wynnwood Walls. It is right around the corner. The manager was really helpful and walked us through the menu. We got the chicken as well as the falafel, each in the fresh pita bread that is baked in store. Both were excellent. We could tell that the ingredients are fresh and homemade. Miami the paradise of sunshine and palm trees isn't usually known for its Shawarma spots or Middle Eastern cuisine however the Stackz is definitely spot that will become known in Miami. Located in the heart of the Wynwood arts district, it offers the Iraqi iteration of the Shawarma. The beef shawarma is nice and moist, with hints of cinnamon and various spices. They make their pita bread in house so the bread is extremely fresh and tasty. I suggest trying the traditional garlic sauce in the pita. The portion sizes are very generous and the price is just right. Sam was the gentlemen who prepared our food and he was very kind and took his time to explain the menu to us. I hope this place doesn't change over time as it is a perfect addition to Miami's fast food scene! A+ guys, keep it up! read more
