I've had more than one bad experience here due to being given stylists that dont know how to do the cuts I want. I have asKed the receptionist but they won't tell you due to wanting everyone to get their fair share of clients. Which to me is wrong. This isn't a diner, it is a place where you get services and I want who is the most qualified for what style I'd like. I went in yesterday with a picture and an explanation of what I wanted and had a consultation. For a pixie cut. i even showed a picture of myself with a pixie cut for reference. Side note: My hair has been falling out rapidly due to side effects from covid and i was cutting off the rest of my long hair. It was super emotional for me but I knew it had to be done. And I told them on the phone how much this meant to me and that i needed someone skilled in short hair. i was given a stylist that I assumed knew how to cut pixies. I came out with the worst haircut I've had in my life. THE WORST. Nothing at all what I wanted. not even a haircut I've seen on anyone. It's so choppy and weird even my 11 year old begged me to get it fixed. She says I don't look like myself. I didn't know how to respond when the stylist asked how she could fix it because first im not a stylist and second it was so far off there was nothing to say. Like redo the entire cut? At this point I didn't trust it so I left and even gave a tip because I felt bad that I might of hurt the stylists feelings because I was just looking at my head like wtf. Today I'm going to spend another $60 to have it fixed or I'll be shaving my head. Not happy at all. I've given this salon many tries and Each time I've left disappointed. read more

Due to a miscommunication, my hair did not come out to my satisfaction, but the owner invited me back at a time convenient for me. The stylist was pleasant and worked with me until I had the natural look I was going for. It's on the expensive side, so be prepared for that, but they are super nice there. read more

From the perfect well lit parking, the friendly smile you receive the moment you walk through the door, the awesome social media presence they have and to the awesome service ALL of their hairdressers provide. I am a brunette that turned blonde forever ago and am very picky as I've had blonde in other salons mistaken for caramel, brassy blonde, strawberry blonde and yellow. I knew someone at work who was a white blonde and this place always took care of her and had her hair look amazing so i thought "if they can keep her hair that perfect blonde shade she wants, which mine isn't as blonde, then I definitely trust them!" I was totally right!! I see Lisa at Icon salon but I follow them in Instagram and they do absolutely stunning work and cuts!!! Lisa is so sweet and amazing and i swear she reads my mind as to what I want. I trust my hair with her for life!! I came here for a men's haircut with Lisa and had a really great experience. I'm always hesitant to try a new place because haircuts are a very personal experience. The prices at icon are so reasonable ($25 with a master stylist) and the haircut was great. My wife definitely approved! She takes her time to find out your specific needs and never fails to meet them. She is a colorist queen and has years of extensive professional training and hands on experience. Liz Listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for. I left my stylist in NC when I moved here. I waited a long 10 months before looking for someone to cut my hair. I decided to take a chance on this place. Turns out Liz is amazing at what she does and gave me exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a salon to take me within a week or sooner as my normal stylists had a wait. I was looking to donate my hair. After scouring Instagram I found Icon Salon. I noticed a friend was following their page and she told me she's been going here since they opened (her stylist is Robyn). They do $15 off with a referral so I thought why not call and try to make an appointment. When I called, the receptionist was super friendly and said because there was a last min cancellation she could get me in THAT DAY with Emily. I decided why not? The salon itself is very nice and there is even a dog, Honey that's roaming the salon. My stylist Emily was beautiful and cute. She listened to what I wanted and kept asking me questions along the way so I get the perfect cut. She also put a texturizing spray I had been wanting to try in my hair, which I ended up loving and gave me some hair tips. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! With the referral I only paid $30 for my cut! Everyone in the salon was lovely and you can tell it's a fun work environment! I would definitely come back here! read more

Owner is arrogant and rude. My belongings were taken while my hair was being done and the owner never apologized. Nothing was done until I called the police. They just had me leave on the coldest winter night with no coat. It wasn't until I called the police, that they made phone calls to locate my belongings and my belongings were returned. The owner laughed and mocked me for wanting a police report. When I asked for an apology for talking about me while I was waiting for my items to be returned. She said "sorry sorry your expensive north face was taken" very rude snobbish behavior. I wouldn't go to this place. Never have I seen such unprofessional behavior. read more

Robyn has been doing my hair - cut and highlights, and she's a true artist! All the stylists are friendly and you end up having a great experience and a great cut.
