My experience with Icon Suits was phenomenal from the moment I walked in to when I left with suit in hand. I was browsing their website to see what sort of burgundy suits they had, and the only one that would show up online was a tux version with large black lapels on the jacket. Not quite the look I was going for. So I had some trepidation walking in, as I wanted a burgundy suit but was unsure it would be satisfactory to my preferences. A crucial detail here is that this is for my wedding suit! Upon walking in I met Paula and Angelo. The stories from others review that mention her are all true. She is very knowledgeable, has a great eye for color combinations and tells you everything straight. I had come in at essentially the very last day possible to have a suit made and ready for fitting before my wedding. Word to the wise, the suits can take 4-6 weeks, and longer if you use more premium fabric from Italy, so go months in advance if you are planning a wedding suit! Angelo was a great second opinion and helped us nail down the final look. I should say, since I was nervous about getting the right burgundy suit, Paula and Angelo reassured me it was a good idea, picked out the fabrics that looked best together and illustrated just how nice it would look. They alleviated my concerns about the shade of burgundy that was present on the website, by explaining how the lighting in the photo and what device you actually view the photo on can skew the colors dramatically. They showed me the fabric out of the book, took it into the sun with me to see how it looked, and showed me a similar suit they had done recently, which they posted on their Instagram. The entire consultation took 4 hours, and I left feeling confident in my choices. Once the suit was completed (slightly early I must add) we knocked out the final fitting, made a slight alteration and completed the entire look to the approval of Angelo and Dmitry. You can't go wrong coming to Icon if you are in the market for a custom suit. You will be exceptionally pleased with their professionalism, style and above all the suit itself. I walked into Icon with no appointment almost randomly before I was to head to my go-to (Brooks Brothers). I was greeted by Paula and may never go back to off-the-rack again. The entire experience was not only pleasurable but informative. The staff at Icon debated with each other about the tiniest of alterations until consensus was reached, and made you feel a part of the process and ownership over the suit. The suit itself is stunning. For a little over the price of an off-the-rack suit, I now have a piece of clothing I will wear will comfort and pride! As a side story, while I was there, a man came in with an appointment to get his wedding suit. After talking through information about half-canvas and full canvas and general information for 15 minutes, they asked him for his price range. The man sheepishly asked to keep it under $200. The staff did not laugh him off. They told him that unfortunately, their suits started around $1000. But then they poured him a scotch and sat with him and discussed marriage and suits and gave him life advice. In a world of transactions, they made him feel human. I was looking for a custom suit for my upcoming wedding, and had an amazing experience with Icon suit. I found them online and saw a few good reviews, and ultimately I wanted to find something that not only fit my vision for my wedding, but something that fit me perfectly while offering a fun experience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and offered a drink. I was lucky to have the place to myself and my brother and I were treated like old friends. I was a little skeptical at their measuring process - rather than the traditional methods of using a tape measure, they fit you with one of their sample suits and take their own measurements from there. To my surprise, when my suit was ready and I went back for my first fitting, everything fit perfectly. No need for any adjustments. I was set on getting an Italian made suit, and while they offered those and were willing to accommodate, they advised me that I could get the same quality and craftsmanship at a lower price if I went with a China made suit. They were not wrong, I just got the suit and I love it. Lastly, I was most impressed with the owners story. He is an entrepreneur himself who started as a lawyer traveling across Europe and found that custom suits were too expensive. He took it upon himself to start this company and now has multiple stores across Europe and the US. I've always bonded with entrepreneurs and love to support them. At 6'5" and thin as a rail, buying suits off of the rack has always been a frustrating process, with the final product involving comprises that even the best tailor can't solve. As a result of a new job, I needed a properly fitting new suit for my most important meetings. I decided to give the custom suit experience a try, and, after much research, Icon Custom Suits, was at the top of the list. My decision to try Icon was aided by their offer to throw in a free custom new shirt with the purchase of a new suit (for new customers). During my first fitting, I spent nearly two enjoyable hours with Angelo being measured, selecting fabrics and accents, and discussing fits. Angelo happily guided my decisions, providing input when requested. After 4-5 weeks, I received a call saying that my suit and shirt had arrived and that I should return for my second fitting. The second fitting generally involves small alterations to the new suit, however, Angelo nailed my first fitting and no additional alterations were required. To my surprise, I was able to depart with my new shirt and suit that night. The custom suit and shirt are the best fitting pieces of clothing in my closet. The cut and fit of the suit accent the feature of by body (square shoulders, long length, neck size, jaw line, etc). The shirt is made of high quality materials and contains small personalized accents that demonstrate attention to detail. I am looking forward to adding a stack of their custom shirts to my closet in the near future. I am not sure that I have ever been this happy with a clothing purchase in my life. I have been purchasing custom suits and clothing for 15+ years and have worked with many companies in Denver and online. The experiences I had with Icon suit are in a class by themselves. I went to Icon for my first custom suit, enjoyed each step of the experience, and absolutely love my suit jacket, pants, and shirt. Prior to going to Icon, I didn't think give consideration for a suit being an expression of my style, but that changed as I was encouraged to pick something that spoke to me. My multiple visits to Icon Suit was exceptional. From choosing fabric, to getting measured, my experience at Icon Suit was a great one. Angelo takes the time to get to know his customers, so that he knows exactly what they will like. My purchase was a completely custom tailor made suit for my wedding. I highly recommend Icon Suit. I met with Bella and Dane on my first visit. They spent all the time I needed selecting fabrics and different options (buttons, lining, stitching etc). They were very thorough in taking all my measurements to be sure that everything fit correctly the first time. I had never ordered a custom suit before and they made me feel very comfortable with the process. After the order was placed the owner Dmitriy was excellent about keeping me up to date on the status of my order. When the suit arrived one of the sleeves was just a little long and Dmitriy went out of his way to have it altered in time for an upcoming business trip.
