OMG! What a great experience. We were the only ones in the store, so it was so much fun. Meghan handled us clips and told us to clip the ones we wanted to try on. I loved being able to walk around and pick out the dresses. We had already been to two other bridal boutiques, so I knew exactly what silhouette I wanted so it was narrowing down exactly if I wanted a simple or designs or lace or beading. Just all the options. We finally narrowed it down and Meghan brought us some champagne to sip on while I got dressed. She was so sweet and I am really thankful to have her as my bridal consultant. After trying one a few gowns. I was able to hone in what I really wanted. I narrowed down the search to two dresses and that's when we added in the veil to see if it was the one. Meghan was so sweet and kind. She really made the experience so easygoing. Wedding dress shopping can be stressful so thank you for making it a very laid back experience. I was able to eliminate and make decisions because I was in a good state and never felt rushed or stressed. When I put on the dress that ended up being the one. I literally started crying because I actually was able to envision myself in that dress. Seriously, it was my favorite dress shopping experience and I am really happy to have found my wedding dress. I went to d'Anelli Bridal to have my wedding dress altered and I was not pleased with the result that I received for the amount that I paid for alterations. I had three appointments and each appointment my seamstress forgot about an alteration that we spoke about at the previous appointment. This includes my final appointment to pick up me dress, she did not make the final alteration that we spoke about and I received no money back (everything was prepaid) and it was too close to the wedding that I couldn't get it done in time. I found the gown today at d'Anelli! I was feeling disheartened because I already went to 3 tidal salons and couldn't find anything I liked. Thankfully, that was not the case here! I worked with the best and coolest consultant, Athena Roberts. Athena was amazing because she listened to what I wanted/liked and made the decision difficult for me because she kept killing it with the dress suggestions. Athena was professional and genuine because she always knew the right thing to say. Not in the way to make a sale, but she spoke from her heart. I went solo dress shopping, so her opinion meant a lot to me. She did not lead me astray! Further, I told Athena what my budget was and she did NOT bring me a dress outside of my budget, like other salons. The only time she did that is when I asked her to bring me a wildcard dress that I would never buy, but thought it'd be fun to try on! Athena was like the perfect friend to have present while you find your dress. I love that she listened to me. She made me feel like a close friend and not just another customer. I was here the other day with my best friend for a wedding dress appointment and we had the best experience and customer service thanks to Leanne! We recently traveled to Chicago for a wedding dress appointment and encountered the most horrendous dress shop that had left us stressed out and apprehensive to go shopping again. Leanne was not only knowledgeable and patient with us, she was also fun! She made the whole experience run smoothly and my friend found her dress!! The shop itself had so many options. We were all able to go through the rows and rows of dresses and pick things out for the bride to try on. There were so many beautiful veil and accessory options! I noticed they carried a wide variety of styles, shapes, and silhouettes. Such a great wedding dress shop less than 15 minutes from downtown Denver. TLDR: The experience I had here has discouraged me from going to any other bridal shop, they didn't support me at all, and this experience has given me insecurities I never even had They make you go through the racks like you're at the mall on a random day ... except you're there to pick the dress for the most important day of your life... The last bridal shop I went to they go off of your style and preferences, and then pick FOR you based on their EXPERTISE and KNOWLEDGE of what you'll like, here I felt like I was on my own ... The hanger DREW BLOOD - while I looked at a dress it literally pinched me between pointer finger and thumb and made me bleed and it HURT . It made me scared to try on the dresses and potentially stain them because this happened 10 min into arriving - the girls told me it happens to them and to other potential brides all the time - I wanted a tea length dress and told them this when I made the appointment they said they didn't have any but could alter any of them to make it work and were sure I could find something ... at the end of an HOUR long appointment the owner told me that I should have gone to David's bridal because they didn't have anything that would accommodate me They used clips on a dress up to show me how one might look at the length I wanted it ... I felt like I looked weird although I love tea length dresses so I asked if my ankles looked too skinny and they enthusiastically said "yes they totally do" I was NOT going for that and instead of saying "how do you feel about the length or how can we change it to make it make you feel better?" They just made me feel insecure Then they had me try on a dress that got poofy right at my midsection which made me feel and look fat which I know I'm not because I'm 5'7" and have a 29 inch waist but they let me pick a dress that was going to be super unflattering and encouraged me to try it on They also made me feel BROKE - I told them I had a 1500 budget but was willing to pay more for the right dress they knew this when I made my appointment but once I was there they told me most of the dresses in the shop were over my budget and that I should have gone somewhere else ... they could have told me this during the call so we didn't waste either of our times or embarrass me read more

I had The Best experience! I came here for the Blue by Enzoani trunk show because there was one specific dress I wanted to try on. I came here alone since my family and friends are in California. I was super nervous and a little intimidated to go dress shopping alone since previous salons I went to were not as welcoming and were a little harsh with the unsolicited body comments. I explained that my wedding was fast approaching, but could be postponed and that I know this dress might not come in time but I would like to try it on anyways. Leanne helped me and she's literally the best. Super welcoming and chill. Didn't ever make me feel uncomfortable and really helped me through my shopping process. She gave me her full attention even though she knew she might not make a sale. There was also absolutely no pressure from Leanne that I should go with a different dress just to get one on time. I couldn't stop thinking about the dress and came back the next day to purchase. With the trunk show going on, they were pretty busy but fit me in for a quick appointment to get measured and even offered if I wanted to try the dress on again! Leanne was super sweet the whole time, apologizing because she thought she was making me wait, but honestly I was just super grateful they fit me in on such short notice. I was confused about the coloring of the dress, but Leanne double checked everything to make sure I would get the correct color I wanted. Once again, I was all alone and Leanne still gave me the full experience. Offered me celebratory champagne and if I wanted to take a picture with their backdrop. It's going to sound crazy but at the 3 other salons I went to no one ever offered me this fulfilling experience or hospitality. She really made this lonely bridal experience a great one. They also handle COVID well. Call to come in. Sanitize coming in. Parties are well separated and everyone is wearing a mask. On Friday I was the first appointment, so it was just me. There might have been one other bride but honestly we were well separated that I didn't even notice. I came in the summer of 2017 looking for wedding dresses. What made me choose d'Anelli Bridal over the other place in Cherry Creek was their in-house seamstress. The second reason I chose d'Anelli Bridal was because the price they quoted me for alterations. Maybe it was because their in-house seamstress, the price they quoted me was $100 less than the other places. The problems started after I purchased the dress. I came in for the inspection and noticed the zipper was finicky. The lady helping me that day was struggling with the zipper as it got stuck both going up and going down. After watching her struggle with it for 10 minutes, I offered to help and I had to move the thread around the zipper and she maneuvered the zipper and was finally able to unzip the dress for me to get in. I clearly stated the zipper was an issue and continued to inspect the dress for any tears, rips, or missing beading but found the dress to be perfect otherwise. Fast forward a month to my first fitting, I met the seamstress and the first thing she told me was how she hopes someone told me to budge $600 for alterations. $600?! That's three times more than what I was told before purchasing the dress. Im not sure if it's the sales lady's fault or the seamstresses fault here with all the discrepancies, but either way, it wasn't acceptable in my opinion. That was my deciding factor in purchasing a dress here and I clearly asked for prices before purchasing the dress. Then, the contact they asked me to sign had generic itemized prices but it was left to whatever prices the seamstress quoted. For example, to fix the length of the dress stated it starts at $250 but apparently for the dress I bought and it's complicated hem, the outer layers itself would be $300 minimum and to hem the inner layers was an additional $100. Why weren't those prices quoted to me when I asked? I was getting ready to try on my wedding dress again when the seamstress couldn't get the zipper closed, she said it would cost $20 to redo the zipper. I asked her why it would cost me to redo the zipper when I mentioned it at the inspection the zipper was a problem and told her I refused to pay for it. She said she would try to fix it, started cutting off some of the tread that got caught in the zipper tracks, and fixed the zipper in 30 seconds. Why she told me she would have to reset the zipper and charge me $20 is the exactly the reason I felt like I was getting scammed. When it was time to pay, I'm not sure if the manager or owner (she didn't introduce herself but her role seemed transparent it was the boss) was upset with having to deal with the situation, or if she didn't make the thousands in alterations she was expecting to, she tried taking away one of my alteration appointments stating since I'm not getting a strapless dress, it "wouldn't really matter" even if I fluctuated in weight. (Usually they do 3 alterations-- one 2 months before, 1 months before, and the month of the wedding where you pick the dress up the week of the wedding and that ensues the dress is as perfect as it could be). Now at my second fitting, there were alterations that I have paid for that wasn't done to the dress. That was the final line for me so I complained to the manager stating the blatant dishonesty and refunded me the money for the alterations that were not done. What I recommend is keep your itemized alteration receipt or ask for a copy, and take pictures of the dress and alterations every step of the way. That is what I did and how I was able to get my money back on work that wasn't done. To add, Sarah, my seamstress was rude throughout the whole process and when our times to meet for the next fitting didn't match up, she stormed to the back (which was around the corner from the fitting rooms so I heard everything) and was complaining about how difficult I was to the other workers. How unprofessional. All of this only skimmed the surface of the continuous problems I had. I felt like there was just a lot of dishonestly during my experience here. And since they told me to wait until 2 months before to start my alterations, it was already too late for me to start researching places and find another seamstress. Every wedding shop will give you exceptional customer service and huge selection, save your money and go to a place where they will be open, honest, and transparent with you throughout the whole process. If they won't show you prices, most likely it's because they're waiting to throw a curve ball in your direction. read more

Recently purchased my wedding dress here and I had a great experience. Firstly, they are one of a few places that doesn't charge a fee for a bridal dress appointment which is great if you're someone like me who wants to try a lot of places. You do have to make an appointment online and there is a cancellation fee I believe if you don't show up but I think that's very reasonable. The store was not overcrowded and I had a personal consultant to help me pick out dresses and did not feel overwhelmed at any point. Secondly, they had a great variety of dresses with a similar price point (most are 1500-2000) and a good number of off the rack dresses as well if you're in need of something sooner or a little less expensive. Third, they have in house seamstresses. I had Maria and she was wonderful and clearly very passionate about her work. She altered everything perfectly and in a very timely fashion with only 2 fitting appointments. She was extremely pleasant to work with and spent half an hour with me showing me how to bustle my dress (it had 16 buttons which made it hard to remember how to do but I filmed it so my bridesmaids could follow along when the time came). I was worried the bustle would ruin the structure of the dress but it looked so good and was so easy to walk in I contemplated not even unbustling it at all. I started feeling anxious thinking about going to a bridal studio...lace and bling and tulle oh my! I did not want to look like a princess or wedding cake or like I was wearing lingerie. The styles out now are NOT me at ALL. Finding a good wedding dress consultant is like finding the one...they either get you or they don't! Thank goodness for Carol! She totally got me and my vision! She pushed me a bit which was good...the last thing you want is to get a dress and then continue to obsess about whether it is perfect or not for the next 10 months until the big day. I got my dress last week and cant wait for it to get here! To be honest when I first walked in I was intimidated, it seemed like there were alot of ball gowns and I'm little and short. Athena put me at ease. She showed me ways that I wouldnt feel like I was drowning. Most places dont like to undress the mannequin but when I showed interest in a dress, it was taken of the mannequin immediately, and it turns out that was THE ONE! I'm getting married in NJ next year and my previous dream dress fell through due to a miscommunication on the staff from the NJ store. I was promised something that they came back and said that could not deliver and was HEARTBROKEN. My friend Alex suggested D'Anelli as she recently purchased her dress from this store and had a great experience. I showed up for my appointment promptly on a Saturday afternoon and was assigned Leanne as my bridal consultant. I showed her my Pinterest board of dresses thinking that I was gong to get an Ezanonie dress but fell in absolute love with this amazing Essence of Australia dress. Leanne pulled so many beautiful dresses for me and it was a tough choice to make but she was so honest and transparent through the whole process. The dress I picked was exactly what I wanted and everything just felt so right. I was able to meet with the in-house seamstress to see if I could get the back of the dress lowered further and she was able to confirm that it will be no problem at all. I ended up buying my dress and veil same day and to make things a hundred times better, my purchase came way under budget (even with alterations). I would like to thank D'Anelli and I can't wait to wear my dream dress next year. If you're coming to this store, ask to get an appointment with Leanne, she's bomb AF. Two stars because this store has a great selection. This was the first place I went to try on dresses and it was certainly not the experience a bride-to-be hopes for. Nowhere to put your coats or purses as you walk around the store. The lady helping me basically left my mother and I to wander around the store on our own, and only came over when it looked like we were weighed down with gowns. She helped me into the dresses and was nice enough, but then pretty much disappeared as soon as I stepped out of the dressing room. No mirror to look at the back of the dresses, or suggestions of how the dress could be altered if I were to order it. I heard sales girls being rude over the phone and making catty comments to each other about customers who had come in the store the day before. Everyone in the store was cold and not interested in helping anyone out. I'm glad I didn't find a dress there that I liked, because I would have been very reluctant to return for fittings. read more

I bought my wedding dress here. They were professional and courteous. I'm plus size and wedding dress shopping was a bit daunting, but they were great. They have lots of plus size dresses to try on with inserts to make the dresses work on any size body. I was able to order the exact size I needed as well in a size larger than what they carry in store as I'm on the bigger side of plus size. My only regret is that they didn't have any pink wedding gowns :(. Alterations went well and I was able to have a custom cape made! Of course, the stress of being a bride in the middle of COVID is not lost on me, but d'Anelli went above and beyond to ensure I was safe, and they were safe. They had very clear instructions from how to enter, to how to try on dresses, wearing a mask, etc. As hard as the process could have been to only have one person present with me, they allowed me to Zoom in some family members. They made the experience as enjoyable as possible, and went above and beyond to get me the dress of my dreams despite factory delays and closures due to COVID. Of course, it would have been an amazing experience to do this without a mask, but I am confident no matter the timing, the experience will be pleasant and wonderful. The shop does have a lot of choices, BUT the service is awful. We made an appointment to try on bridesmaids dresses. When we entered the shop, we were greeted with disdain, as though we were disturbing some gossip-session being held by the girls behind the desk. Fortunately, the girl helping us pull dresses was nice and courteous. When it came time to leave, we wanted wait before ordering and were assured that we could order within 3.5 months of the wedding and "still have plenty of time & would not have to pay a rush fee". Next, enter the trunk sale. We were informed that we could order at the trunk sale (which we knew was a little bit close for turnaround time) and not have to pay a rush fee. Come time to order the dresses, and "Oops, I'm sorry. There's a rush fee". The fact that we would have to pay a fee is fine, but it's the manner in which it was handled that prevented us from buying from this shop. NOTE: I am writing this as someone who attended a dress fitting recently with a friend. I was recently a bride and decided to not buy from D'Anneli because I didn't really like the vibe, the pricing, or the selection. My friend went to try on dresses for her upcoming wedding and the woman who helped her wasn't very nice at all. She barely even looked at the picture my friend showed her of her "ideal dress" that she had tried on somewhere else, but was shopping around. She was super snotty about my friend's budget (she wanted to stay under $1000, $1200 at the most) and every time my friend asked if they had a certain style, the woman kept saying "well, not in THAT price range." WTF? Not helpful. THEN-- this is the worst part, she wouldn't let her try on dresses that she couldn't step into. Ladies, I'm sorry, but how many of us have hips that are way wider than our shoulders? I know I'M definitely bottom heavy, but those be my baby making woman hips and there are MANY styles that I can "dive" into rather than "step into." She wouldn't even bring her anything she'd have to put over her head. That just seems weird to me, especially with dresses. Ultimately, my friend walked out with a bad feeling and I did too. I don't feel like the bride should ever feel like she's putting the salesperson out. Trying on wedding dresses should be fun and exciting, not stressful. read more

Not sure what happened here- I called to see if I need an appointment for a bridal fitting, and the receptionist said to come on in. When I arrived, I had questions about a specific gown the store had shown online that they sold. The front desk girl tried to help, but she said she didn't know much about the collection, and told me that one of the consultants might be able to help. So, I waited around for 15 minutes- there was one fitting going on, and plenty of staff, but no one ever offered help. So, I re-approached the front desk, and the girl said she'd go ask the woman in charge of ordering. 10 more minutes went by, and she returned to tell me that they didn't have the gown, weren't going to get the gown, but they could order it for me. When I asked if they could order a sample, or if they could only order if I purchased it first, again, she did not know, and told me it might be awhile because she'd have to ask again! Know your designers, know their policies and at least have some sort of customer service. Seems simple, no? Makes a return visit highly unlikely. read more

I came to this shop because I live close by and I was very interested in an Alfred Angelo wedding dress. There are two different entrances. We chose door number one and the first thing out of the employee's mouth was "do you have an appointment?" I apologized. Hm-mm, didn't really know that you had to have one. Especially since there was more employees than customers. We decided to go back out and try the other door. Uptight employee number two asks the same thing, only she offers to help me at least. They only carry Alfred Angelo brides maid dresses, but I decided to check out the dresses that they had. She shows me around and then shows me a couple of dresses that are really not my thing. Which is fine, I kind of just want to look around since I was not sure what I wanted. I can't put my finger on why I felt so uncomfortable here. I really felt like a teenager that was in a store that she couldn't afford, so much so that I left without trying on all the dresses. I think Julie L put it best. Several years ago, I found dresses for my bridesmaids at D'anelli. I've noticed that the big gripe from other reviewers is that their service is-- at best-- nonexistent, and at its worst, somewhat surly. I can't really comment on that, because the lack of any cloying, hovering salespeople is exactly what I found so appealing. See, I really dislike being aggressively over-helped. I'd rather be left alone until I need it! And then, trust me... I'll find someone. A place like David's Bridal pretty much constitutes my worst nightmare, because you physically have to "check in with the receptionist" the moment you walk in the door. She wants your name, rank and serial number, and god forbid you say, "I'm just looking," because you can literally watch her sphincter tighten. At D'anelli, my girls and I were unhassled as we perused their huge (HUGE) selection of bridesmaid dresses, looking for something unique and sassy and flattering on all 7 of my lovely attendants. They have everything from super-spendy high-end couture, to simple elegance for simple prices. We were able to find several in the $100-$125 range that stood miles above the cookie-cutter schwag you get at David's. And not once were we harassed or pushed or hassled or hustled by a single obnoxious salesgirl. Now THAT's my kind of shopping! Of course, they were ready and on call when time came to place our orders. Measurements were taken by an all-business elderly women who actually listened to each girl's input regarding their "regular" size, and took that into consideration when checking their stats against the Almighty Size Chart (unlike at Schaeffer's Bridal... see my review). All in all, we were quite pleased with D'anelli, and many compliments were doled out to my girls in their stylin' dresses. If you're the sort who wants to be waited on hand and foot, D'anelli probably isn't your place. But if you'd rather be left alone to do your bridal browsing, check it out! Bonus: I got the most badass bridal shoes for myself there. And for less than I'd pay online, too! read more

I arrived late so I wasn't able to get a good feel for the place but it seems that the staff is friendly and helpful. They have the regular-sized raised platform and mirrors that are in most bridal stores. This bridal store is in a plaza with a parking lot that is inadequate for the amount of traffic, in my opinion. Leanne was amazing!! If you are booking your appt. you need to request her! She was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and gave excellent recommendations. I probably tried on 10 dresses and kept trying on the same three dresses over and over. She never made me feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. Long story short my wedding dress shopping has been a horrific experience full of tears until Leanne turned that experience upside down. She helped me find an amazing dress and veil!! They have an amazing selection of dresses at extremely affordable prices. read more

I was so surprised to see a low rating as I had a FABULOUS experience at D'Anneli's! I purchased my wedding dress and worked with Nichole - she was very accomodating and friendly!!! I brought my mom, sister and good friend to the shop - we discussed what style I was looking for and then had fun browswing and pulling dresses. We found 6-8 to try on and while a few were close, none were "the dress". We went back out to the floor to pull a few more similar styles and then I found "the one"! The salespeople were friendly and didn't pressure me into a higher priced gown- my gown was a very reasonable $625! When I came back for measurements and to purchase the dress, I received the same friendly and prompt service. While I only hit 3 dress shops total, D'Anneli's was by far the BEST experience. I had two good friends recommend D'Anneli's to me and I am happy to pass along the recommondation! It's how wedding dress shopping should be!!! read more
