It took the man who did my nails about 15 minutes....he took no care. He did not buff the edges of my nails, so they are rough. What he did buff was one quick swipe. I have nail polish on the sides of my nails and even on my fingers....don't know how that happened. He was a big zero as far as personality went too. In addition NONE of their tools were in sterilizing solution or individually wrapped in plastic....YUCK!!!! I should have run out the door as soon as I saw that. It's gross, unsanitary and not an inexpensive manicure. Never going back. I also think it is very unprofessional when they speak to each other in Vietnamese or whatever Asian language they speak. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life! This holds true to Mr. Raymond at Iconic Nail Spa! He takes pride in his work and it shows! He's extremely nice, knowledgeable, and he works fast but that doesn't negatively impact the final finish. I've only had the chance to see him twice. Once right before the pandemic shut down all non-essential businesses and once right after they reopened. I did see another technician, Miss Emily, in between. She was good and super sweet, but Raymond is that next level artist! I felt comfortable going here. They check your temperature with a touch-less thermometer, provide face masks if you don't have your own, and hand sanitizer when you first walk in. Plus hand sanitizer bottles are at every station. Each station has a plexiglass shield/guard fixed in place. All the technicians wear masks and they social distance their clients. read more

Had just an "alright" experience. The lady who did my deluxe pedi and gel manicure was nice enough...but not out of her way to be friendly. The pedicure was very relaxing, and I particularly enjoyed the massage chairs. They are above average in my experience with nail salon chairs. I was hoping for a glass of wine, but no one offered me a drink. I should have asked but I didn't. Probably because I felt like it would irritate her if I did. The color of the gel polish is great. But there are a few bubble spots, messy places on my cuticles/fingertips which will obviously cause it to peel quicker. She wasn't very detail oriented or careful when applying the gel. And for some reason there are weird white patches under my nails that I didn't notice until I got in my car. You can see places where she nicked my fingers with the cuticle cutters and left dead skin around the nail. And also...when she was painting my fingers it felt like she was squeezing a grape. Ouch! I am an avid nail biter; therefore, I only get my nails done maybe twice a year. This Sunday, I wanted to get almond-shaped nails to treat myself. I went to a couple nail salons trying to see where I could be fit in fastest. I showed up to this nail salon and was sat down for a full-set. I told the man doing my nails I wanted almond-shaped nails with a simple design. He cut my nails and began putting the acrylic powder on and i was confused as to why they were still square because normally, the are cut before powder is put on. I asked him after he put the powder on if he was going to do almond. He said sorry, but then tried to say it was my fault. He got upset and had to have the woman sitting next to him do my nails for him, and she had to get someone to fill in for her as she was in the middle of a job. Let me preface this by saying I am not picky and if English isn't someone's native language, I do not expect them to constantly speak English; however, the began speaking Vietnamese and putting the English word "almond" between intervals of Vietnamese. This is the first time in years I got a professional pedicure and, frankly, I have mixed feelings about it. The gentleman who did my pedicure wasn't just quiet (which is OK because I'm quiet too) he was indifferent and a little cold. The quality of the pedicure was mediocre although the massage was fantastic; I didn't have my callouses scraped off with a bladed callous remover and I got no top coat. My middle fingers are crooked my nails are an awkward shape they are way too short I told her to cute it a certain way and she just cut them all extremely short and when I asked if I can get them re done she argued with me and was about to make me pay to get it redone after paying for ugly nails already. I can't say enough good things about this place. It's clean, decorated in a very classy way, friendly. They offered me a drink. They were kind and initiated conversation with me. Just had a horrible experience at Iconic Nails. I had my nails done 6 days ago. I got the dipped manicure. The nails were very thin and 2 days later I had to get 2 fixed because they were broken. I returned today (6 days later) because I now have 5 nails broken and 2 cracked. I showed them on my calendar that it had only been 6 days but the lady refused to help me and insisted that it had been 2 weeks. I paid $45 to have my nails done and tipped $10 only for the lady to tell me that it had been 2 weeks and that I needed to pay full price to have them re-done. I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. Very disappointing. read more
