I had never done a class like this before so I was nervous at first, but the instructor, Tom, made it seem easy. He is really knowledgeable about the sport and teaches the real thing. None of this Tai Bo stuff . The hour is spent learning kickboxing all the while keeping the heart rate up. My favorite thing was punching and kicking the heavy bag. A super stress-reliever! Hopefully others try this class because it is a great class and is reasonably priced ($30/month). For that, you can go to this class 2x per week and get an amazing 1-hr workout. I have been training here for about a month, love it so far and has been a great investment of my time. The instructors are really down to earth, very helpful, highly knowledgeable, and great all around teachers. Also, the classmates are helpful as well. They offer classes for both kids and adults(men and women). Not a hard place to fit in, very good atmosphere. Really good place for anyone interested in learning bjj.
