She was trying to hold it together while taking my information. (I was a new patient for him.) Once I got back to the room, she must not have put my information incorrectly, because he told me to come to the computer and enter my own information. Which I thought was highly inappropriate! He then told me to stand straight up, which I couldn't do because my back was messed up, and then he got mad when I couldn't do it and spoke very gruffly to me. He cracked my back, and it hurt like hell. I've been to three other chiropractors over 35 years and never had that issue ever. I told him I was in a lot of pain, and he disregarded it completely. I told him that I usually do yoga to stretch my back out and he said that was worthless, even though the three other chiropractors all said that was great for stretching out your back muscles and bones. Then he was bragging about how many clients he had and how great of a chiropractor he was. Totally arrogant and rude. I would never go back, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

I've gone to chiropractors all of my adult life and am well versed in what I like and what works for me. Good chiropractic care keeps it manageable without much pain meds. In my previous state, I paid one price and had everything adjusted that needed adjusted. Here in Adams county there is quirky way of making the patient pay for each region that needs adjusted. For instance if only my neck was adjusted I paid one price. If my low back was also out, I had to pay more, etc. What a ripoff! Dr. Carla is NOT like that. When I called I asked about the pricing and was quoted $54 for a first time visit for everything (including the first adjustment). That is so different than other places. I didn't need x-rays nor did I have to watch a video about chiropractic care. YEAH! I went to my appointment and was taken in on time. She talked with me about my concerns and then had an assistant use electronic stimulation and then a short massage before adjusting me. I trusted her immediately. I don't like wimpy adjustments and she had a strong technique. Because my neck was in really bad shape and wouldn't fully adjust, she used the activator as well. I could sense right away that the right side of my neck had much more movement than before the adjustment and my low back and knees were put back and didn't have pain. She suggested I get a massage (which could be sent to my insurance) the next day and before my next adjustment. She didn't try to talk me into coming in three times a week like some do to run down your insurance. But because I know how my body works, I scheduled for the week later. I scheduled a massage with Lance, and let me tell you, he was excellent. The massage was more therapy than relaxing, which was exactly what I needed. I'm rescheduling with him again for next week. It was a little painful, but that was because he was getting into the small neck muscles and stretching them in ways that they so needed. So, it's now a week later and I had my second massage (with a different person - and not as good as Lance) and my second adjustment. Carla was awesome again. I can move and am in much less pain. Her pricing as of this date is $23 for just adjustments. If she uses electrical stimulation it jumps up to $33 for a visit. Since I have my own, I think I'll use it before I go and not pay the higher fee. These prices are cash prices not sent in to the insurance. It's a little higher if you want them sent in to go towards your deductible. I think it's a deal for the relief. I highly recommend her.

Rosendo is fantastic!…read more I was a professional massage therapist for 5 years and have had many different styles of massage therapy from many different kinds of practioners. I have always, though, wished that I could work on me, because I've just never found someone who does exactly what I'm looking for, until now. Mr. Diaz has been doing therapeutic muscle massage in Fort Wayne since 1996. He is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. He does, what I would call, more restorative and preventative massage. I love his style because he doesn't just do a patterned session. He listen to my complaints and issues, asks clarifying questions, then listens to what my body needs as we work. He may work longer or more specifically on one leg then the other, because that's what he feels your body needs, he's not going to just strictly devote 5 minutes to one side, then 5 minutes to the other. Also, he's not afraid to exhaust the muscle. I don't like a fu-fu masage, I want to feel my massage, and I want it to hurt in that "good pain" sort of way. This is not to say he would act this way with all clients, but is to say that he will work the way that you enjoy and feel is the most healing. He also gives me homework: stretches or exercises to help improve and prevent further injuries. I have a 10 year old whiplash injury, plus 5 years of massage during the same time, so I know pain and muscle tightness ... and this guy can workt them out! You cannot beat his prices! He charges only $50 per hour ... many in Fort Wayne that are much less experieced and more "spa" less "preventative and restorative" charge $75 or $90 per hour. Ten years ago when I did massage in a rural town, I charged $45 for a hour, so this price is really stellar!! I've never had a problem getting in within 1 - 2 days. He's truly a talented professional!
