The water is great and you get the option to be in complete silence or have meditation music and light or complete darkness. You float for however long your session is. I could feel every inch of my body relax and did some recommended stretching and could feel and hear parts of my body popping-it felt AMAZING! I'm pretty sure I may have even fallen asleep! I tried the oxygen bar and though there was a variety to choose I preferred the vanilla as it was soft and more mild. I was able to try something different and did the eucalyptus. Though I prefer the eucalyptus fragrance it was a bit too strong for me. Do yourself a favor and DO THIS FOR YOURSELF! Your body & wellbeing will Thank you!!!

After that, she just worked on my body and let me blissfully zone out. Later, I found out that Iliana is the massage therapist that lots of people request, so if you want a wonderful massage, this is the woman to seek out. The only thing I would have changed: I wish she worked on my glutes a little more! I probably should have told her to go for it, but I was too busy being in that peaceful, liminal space that a great massage puts you in, so I just let it go. In general, I feel like Woodhouse Spa is visited by people who don't get massages regularly, or at all, so perhaps the massage therapists focus more on neutral areas, like the back, neck, legs and arms. Which is fine and understandable. But I've been getting regular massages for a long time, so to me, glutes are a must. I'm fortunate to have a transcendental, all-of-the-superlatives massage therapist who I see regularly, but if I were to visit Woodhouse Spa on a regular basis and see Iliana, I would definitely make it a point to tell her: "Andale pues!" One of the reasons you visit a Woodhouse Spa location is for the facilities. This is a place where you spend at least an hour or two luxuriating under the waterfall showers, contemplating life in the wet and dry sauna, and hanging out in the dark sitting room with a glass of wine or cucumber-infused water. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do any of those fun and relaxing things because I had a busy agenda that day; I barely had time to drink a glass of water in the waiting room before my massage, and then I had to split shortly after. But for everyone else: Do yourself a favor and block off a chunk of time to just spend time futzing around the spa area. It's a nice spa, and you will enjoy yourself if you give yourself enough time.

Parking isn't bad either across the street, you can watch your car while running the treadmill and listening to your earpods. I like to pop in my earbuds or iPods that is and off to runners land. Very nice gym, some dues to pay each month unless you get it free through work or being broke... There are several masseuse and each specializes in a different area. I struggle with migraines and trigger points and honestly with out her I wouldn't be able to function daily. I utilize the monthly membership, it gives a discounted massage rate for one session a month. It's a bit different than other places, you never lose your massage that you pay for, so if you don't use it one month then you have two the next, there is no cancelation fee and your not stuck for a certain period of time. They simply ask that you give 30 days notice to cancel. Additionally I LOVE that if you call and don't get an answer they automatically send you text message giving the hours and offering the option to contact you back.

I have been to a few different massage locations, & although there is no quiet waiting room or sauna/shower room here, the massage is what made it worth it.
