I needed to place a 600 shirt order with only a five day notice. I called around a few places and either they were really expensive or they said that wasn't enough time. iCustom was recommended to me by a friend that had used them previously. I called the Newark location. I talked to one of the owners named Sam. Sam was very professional, very polite and assured me that he would be able to get it done in the limited amount of time that I gave him. He also had the best price out of all the stores that I called. I was a little bit nervous because it sounded too good to be true. I sent him the design. I sent him a list of how many shirts I needed for each size. 50 Medium, 150 Large, 150 XL, 150 2X, 50 3X, and 50 4X. 600 total. We went over the design and the size I wanted it to be. It was only gonna be a front design with the back of the shirt blank. I made my down payment and he went to work on my order. I was so nervous. He kept assuring me that everything was gonna go smooth. Not only did he get my shirt order done on time. But he got it done a day early. Which took a lot of pressure off of me to have it completely ready before my deadline. When I went to the store, he had all the shirts in individual boxes according to size. I paid him the rest of the balance for the shirts. I looked over quite a few of them and they all came out perfect. He loaded them up and took them out to my car and put them in. The entire transaction from beginning to end went so smooth. You wouldn't think it would've been a 600 shirt order. I'm very grateful to Sam and the Newark location. I will highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Especially if you're looking to do a big order. I'm really looking forward to the next time I get to do business with them. Needed T-shirts from my cultures for International Week at my school site. Adel was patient in assisting me with selecting the perfect front and back t-shirt graphic designs and lettering. He told me his family owns all 8 nearby area locations of iCustom. The shop had so much to look at- designs everywhere! You name it, they can do it. They offer a variety of shirts (and not just shirts, other items) in ranges of sizes. I like that they have 100% cotton shirts as they breathe better for me. They also have Poly/Cotton mixes. The 2 shirts (Spain & Portugal) designs turned out awesome and I received many compliments. Even from teenagers! Adel said you can also bring in your own shirts to have custom printed. I have come here many times before and have never had a negative experience. Today I brought my son's baseball team jerseys to get last names printed. We went over the list of last names to make sure he could clearly read the names. I paid $189 for 11 jerseys and was told to come back at 6pm. I came back at 6pm to find one of the names was spelled wrong. He instantly blamed me for the error. After fixing the mistake I noticed the white coloring was off and he explained it would wash out. After washing the jerseys I noticed the grey color did not wash out. I called him and he said I would need to wash them a few times. Then went on to tell me its the shirt color and there was no way he could print white on black. He preceded to argue with me blaming ME for the way the jerseys came out. After i noticed every single jersey was burned because he pressed them wrong. I do not recommend coming here for printing any more. read more

My boyfriend and I come here very frequently and are usually extremely satisfied with our finished products. This last time we came we weren't too pleased. When we first walk in, we were immediately asked what services were needed. Since my boyfriend is such a regular here he knew the font name of the exact font he wanted, the associate said "we don't have that font, you need to pick something from off the wall"... YOU DO HAVE THE FONT BECAUSE WE'VE MADE OVER 50 SHIRTS WITH THAT FONT AT THIS LOCATION. We went on to ask him if he could just check, of course he found it. We wrote down what we wanted it to say and he asked if we wanted it today, we said yes, described where we wanted it, how big we wanted, paid and walked out. We came back about 20 minutes later and he had just printed the wording out, it was very small, almost too small for the hoodie, the top of the letters were cut off due to poor attention to detail. We asked him to make it bigger. As we're talking to him he answers the phone and gives the prices to something the person on the other line asked, not sure what went wrong but he yelled "if you already know then why the fuck are you asking" and hung up... okay I'm sorry but this is NOT the way you talk to customers nor talk in front of customers like this. I totally understand some people have their bad days but if you're in the customer service business you don't get to act like that. Back to the sizing - when we asked to make it bigger, he lied to us and said that's the biggest he can do, ANOTHER LIE. I'll attach the pictures of the new hoodie, and one of the older shirts we purchased where it's clearly a lot larger than what is "the biggest size they had". I honestly feel like he didn't want to remake the wording. When we complained about the top of the lettering he with attitude said "I'll fix it" well if you're going to fix it then you might as well make it bigger for us too right? We spent $30 on a hoodie, and $27 on wording that's WAY too small for the hoodie, basically a waste of $60. It sucks that a place we recommend to all of our friends and family would lie to us instead of just taking the extra time to fulfill our requests. I really hope the owner or one of the associates that have worked on our previous orders sees this and if not correct the problem for us, then at least ensure that we won't be lied to and our future designs won't be a waste of money. First of all I recommend you all to take your service to the iCustoms in Hayward at the Southland mall!!! You'll get the best customer service and price there than here!!!!! I sent them a message a day before I went in, explaining the detail of my designs and was told it will be $25 a shirt! Ended up only getting one of my order. Over charged for a baby onesie with last name printed on the back and just one number at $45 plus tax coming out to $49! On the price board, (I should of took a picture!) it specifically says it's $12 for onesies. And printing would be somewhere less then $25! My total for the one baby shirt should of came out to be less than $40! The guy there was literally on his phone throughout the whole time my family and I were in the store. Not even business related, like he was on the party line! Annoying! Even to purchasing, still on the phone.. Rude as hell! I also wanted my receipt printed after he had asked I said no, and I quickly change my mind and say yes please I would like one. He says oops he had already declined for a receipt! I know damn well he could of tried to print another one for us but I was so annoyed I just wanted to hurry up and leave. If I didn't need the shirt as soon as.. I would of ran out of the store! Other then such a bad experience the onesie came out perfect. If you do choose to get serviced here, make sure you come with a determined and bold attitude! Not the best experience, they need to update their website for same day orders because I placed an online order for a specific color shirt and then received a call after paying that the only options for same day pick up are black and white. Also I called a day and a half later and they hadn't even started my "same day order " I had to resend my info. I was told my order would be ready in 1 hr when I called and I decided to give them almost 2 hours , still wasn't ready when I arrived. They didn't even have the size my order required. My wife and I went in to have a shirt made but the guy working there acted as if he wasn't interested in helping me. Once I came to him with a design he was trying to rush me when I told him I had a logo on my phone I wanted to put on the shirt. While making my shirt he took a phone call and completely stopped what he was doing with my order to help the customer on the phone. Out of frustration I stood up from the seats in the store and stood over the glass awning to see the progress he quickly then jumped up to keep working on it while still on the phone. Two more customers came in and he once again stopped working on my shirt to give them their finished products.
