Only complaint is that I am in a wheelchair and the ramp going in was not cleared wide enough of the snow and the one part was ice.

What a wonderful children's museum! With many hands-on exhibits and a pretend-play town. Located on…read morethe Poughkeepsie waterfront, it was a great stop for us to cool down and for my kiddo to take a fun break after we did Walkway Over the Hudson. There are two levels: the first floor is geared more toward younger kids and has several play areas including a fire station/fire truck with dress-up costumes, play-pretend market and cafe, a maker studio, a play room with a train track, foam blocks and some structures, and a couple of other exhibits. The second floor is suitable for both younger and older kids and is STEM focused, with exhibits that demonstrate scientific principles in a fun and educational way. My toddler was so excited to explore everything and could have spent hours in here. I'd say it's best suited for kids under 10. The website says up to 12yo but honestly I think the tweens of today would be quickly bored. Admission is $13 whether for kids or adults (under 1 free). The museum wasn't very crowded, and has seating all around for parents to sit and watch while the children played.

I went there with my and my family we were on the way with snow tubing. It was the best in the water parking lot It was really nice and the hot tub it was for relaxing the very cozy. The room service was amazing. They took care of the bed really well and I just want to say if you're choosing through great Wolf Lodge or any other Ranch cause it's very nice and he has a horseback I didn't get to go, but it's OK and there is lots and lots to do I just hope that the will open soon as soon next time as I come back maybe the boats will open, but I just wanna say thank you for opening this resort throughout all these years and your cat is very nice. I love your cats rocking horse ranch very nice. I just want your cat is very cute. I just want to say one more thing. It's a very nice experience so tomorrow my cousin is coming to the horse Ranch so I should have a great time The besties great time as I did my mom the other group of our family is coming right now so I hope you have a great time make them comfortable and I hope you guys have a great day.

If you were to choose between Rocking Horse Ranch and Great Wolf Lodge, it's an easy choice. Yes,…read moreRocking Horse Ranch is more expensive but there is an endless amount of activities for the kids to do. We came on the coldest weekend of the year but my kids had a blast skiing, snow tubing, horseback riding, pony rides, arcade, game room, playing laser tag, swimming in the pool, the outdoor hot tub, and the nightly shows. Food is included in the price and it is buffet style for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not but you are more than welcome to order more and take things to go. There's snacks available between lunch and dinner but there's also hot chocolate/coffee available all day long with some pastries. The only downside were the rooms. They are connected so if you have loud neighbors, you won't be getting good sleep. Overall, my kids loved the place and want to go back soon. I guess we'll have to wait for another Black Friday deal.

Safety is #1 here, the paperwork as a first timer and the orientation was *extensive*, so carve out 10 minutes for that. They do test you on belay abilities before they let you belay someone, which includes tying knots to the harness and carabiners. If you don't pass, you can't belay someone else but you can still use the self pulley belays. There are spots to chill and regain grip strength, and the gym is pretty clean. Staff were helpful. One star less because they do not have half sizes for shoes. It motivates you to get your own but for those just getting into this sport and wanting to keep the investment to a minimum until you decide, it's not comfortable. It's a gym in the area so I'll take it. I went for a holiday deal for the day pass was $16 and shoes were $4, and they do charge for rental chalk. I honestly wouldn't go for any other pricing, so I'll be looking out for the deals to return again.

Great first experience at this spot: friendly and helpful staff, good facility…read more We went as a group of 3 with the $90 staff belay option. This is a good option for beginners and if you just want to start climbing and not worry about learning belaying. Anna was so supportive and helpful. The staff member helping you really does make or break the experience. We were given the harness to step into as well as shoes that should fit snugly. Then we started at the beginner wall to get our feet wet. We moved on to a few other walls, one with an automatic belay. The climbs are marked by difficulty level so a 5.8 is harder than a 5.5, for example, based on ease, size of the holds. You follow the color of your climb basically. We all got a good workout. An hour is good because you need to rest in between climbs usually. Perhaps the instruction option for 5 people would give you more techniques but this was fine for us. The space isn't that big but we didn't feel cramped. However if it was crowded you probably would have to wait. But no problems today on a Sunday at 11:30 am. If you have workout gloves they'd probably help with callouses on the hands. We didn't try the regular free climbs. There's cubbies to put your shoes and bags and lockers in the bathroom if you have a lock. I wouldn't want to bring anything valuable in there because there's a lot going on and someone intent on mischief could have a field day... hopefully not though! They seem to offer membership options and events. No issues parking. I would come back!

Overall they had a fantastic time. There was a lot to take part in which we had neither the time nor desire to do so on this visit (skating rink, pickleball, video game arcade, billiards and golf). I appreciated the age segregation as it prevented horseplay from older aged ones from harming younger children. The restrooms seemed far from the play area. It was a great source of entertainment but you have to keep a close eye on small children. My one criticism was that there were props in one of the play areas that were very heavy and could harm someone if they hit someone; they also posed a tripping hazard. They were shaped like a giant Swiss cheese wheel. Bounce is conveniently located in the Galleria Mall, so there is ample free parking.

It's dirty and smelly - don't think you can clean up either because the hand sanitizer stations AND the bathroom soap dispensers are empty (and half the ladies room stalls are locked up- unless you count the stall without a door). I really don't know how they stay open at this point.

He explains they lost heat last night and the room is trying to get to temperature. 2 hrs later it was still freezing. People had on coats, hats and gloves. Children were shivering with red noses. It was horrible and probably the same temperature as outside on a January NY winter day. It was a horrible experience. I kept my kids jackets on the entire time, if we were not at a birthday party I would have left. Pizza took forever, service was horrible, the kids working had no clue what was going on. After both my kids ate their pizza they both wanted another piece of pizza. I asked the staff for 2 more pieces of pizza for 2 children in the party and they explained the host only paid for one slice per kid. I then persisted to speak with the gentlemen in charge. He advised the same thing. From my perspective the children are freezing the entire party was uncomfortable. They could not give 2 more pieces of pizza! The place should have closed that day and rescheduled events. I will never be back there. The bathrooms are a whole other story - completely unsanitary. This building needs a full renovation. Cannot imagine what their kitchen looks like if this is how they treat the front of house. If you want to go roller skating take the extra drive to Wood n Wheel across the river in Ulster park, in my opinion. Much cleaner and attentive staff.
