A bag of fresh kettle corn (one of the few left that day)
    Kristina Q.

We enjoy heading to this farm for a few reasons: - the corn maze is one of the best in the Hudson Valley - their prices are reasonable for a family of 5, and you only pt for the things you want to do, so whether you're doing a single activity or get one of the passes, it's easy on the entertainment budget - they serve generous portions at their food stand - the kettle corn is amazing! - the staff are quite friendly The only thing is, they always seem to run out of key offerings way too fast - all the times we've gone here (peak - so mid-afternoon-ish) the kettle corn, apple cider doughnuts, and hard cider were either low, coming close to low in stock, out of stock, or had a *realllllly* long wait. That said, this farm holds a spot as one of our top 3 farms to visit for fall activities in the Mid-Hudson region, for all the things I noted above *plus* while they get very busy in-season, it's not *jam-packed*, which means a better, more relaxed time all around.

This place is fun for everyone! They're selection of apples is great and they have lots of things to do for the kids. Their bakery section and store have so many option so don't go on an empty stomach. Staff is very friendly and make great recommendations.

We had a great time at the Farm. Lots of activities kept the kids busy. The only thing; pumpkin bowling should have a ball that looks like a pumpkin. The kids kept asking why it's called pumpkin bowling? Lol I already made applesauce with all the apples we p

Yesterday was the first time visiting the farm. Although it had rained overnight and was a bit humid, I absolutely had a good time. Staff is super helpful and friendly! The grounds were safe and my 2 year old was able to walk without having to worry about fallen apples on the ground. The apples are huge and tasty! The trees are a good height for easy picking for children. By the pumpkin there was a bit of bugs but that was somewhat expected. They have a play area for the children which my kids enjoyed. You do have to pay extra for this play area but overall pricing is decent. Had some of their apple cider and wow was that delicious. I will definitely be returning as it was worth the drive from NYC. A pleasant find!

First time apple picking at this location and we had a great time! It has a lot of activities for the kids if you get the pass, no charge for adults. Everyone was nice, from staff to visitors. The actual apple picking was limited but it was enough for an experience. They have a tractor ride to get there from the main location, it's also walking distance. On the bee ride (for the kids) the path it went through had more apples but the tractor ride didn't take us there, so maybe you can pick from there too. ‍ Unfortunately we didn't get to see the apple mascots but that's okay, next time! Would go again next year.

This was the first time I've ever gone apple picking. I had no idea how it worked. Do we pay per person and pick an unlimited amount? That's what i thought. Turns out you pay per pound. So we pull up and the place is a large barn filled with all kinds of goodies. There was different flavored honey, jam, bacon, pumpkins, peanut brittle, apple cider, donuts, fudge, peaches, land so much more. I wanted to purchase more than just the apples but it was cash only. Boo! One star less. To get to the apple orchard you need to hitch a ride on a wagon pulled by a tracker. It was slow but pleasant. Along the way we got so close to the apple trees i could have started picking right then and there. When we arrived we were informed of where we can go to pick certain apples. The trees are labels also. There were red delicious, Fuji, rome, empire, and golden apples. I filled my bag to capacity without breaking the bag. While picking apples we sampled the produce. I kept asking if that was really OK because wasn't it stealing? Anyway, i stuffed myself with apples but still had enough room for freshly baked donuts made from apple cidar along with hot cider. This place is also great because thre were picnic tables available for lunch after you've picked yourself silly. There were lots of bees buzzing around but I don't mind them because they're dying. So overall I had a great time and I don't know why I've never done it before.

This is more of a farm amusement park than anything else. Hurds was better for Apple picking.

Amazing apple cider donuts and very reasonably priced. Get here early though because this place gets packed on nice fall weekends.

Now that we're living in The Catskills, my quest to find that similar market prototype I grew to love in Westchester, continues. I had forgotten hubs and I came here before during one of our bi-annual trips to The Catskills. Recently though, when I searched for produce markets near work in Highland, Wallkill View in New Paltz popped up within a short driving distance. As you drive past all of New Paltz bustling shops and restaurants on Main St, you'll soon approach a sleepy farmland area overlooking Mohonk Preserve in about 5 or so minutes. I've been hard-pressed to find a market that tops my favorite one in Westchester and checks all the boxes. Wallkill View grows and sells a nice mix of produce the area has to offer. And when veggies and fruit aren't grown on-site or in season, they're sourced from elsewhere. Unlike other farm markets that operate only Sat+Sun, Wallkill V. is open everyday. Well...almost. These folks shut down for Christmas and throughout the winter- reopening in March. Prices are about $1 more than what I paid down in White Plains- but hey... I get it. Service is great though.

I have to credit Taliaferro for almost single-handedly increasing my vegetable consumption from that of a picky child who eats only corn (I jest, sort of) to me claiming, last night, that I could be a vegetarian if for some reason I needed to... except for beef.
