Funny, in the email I received from the company they suggested they service the fireplace every 1-3 years by them. Seriously? In three years we will be replacing the fireplace with a reputable brand!

It's the little things that have a huge impact. While he was here he didn't just work on what he had to and leave. He took the time to clean our glass, vacuum inside and out, and leave it nicer than he found it. No it's not required or even expected but that's what makes it so special. Come to find out there was a tree branch growing beside my chimney and every time the wind blew it was hitting my cap and eventually knocked it off. This was also affecting my neighbor because her chimney cap was smashed to one side because of that same tree branch. I had Brandon show my neighbor the pictures so she would not light a fire in her fireplace because of the tree branch up there that could catch fire. She had actually seen my chimney cap one day on the ground, picked it up and saved it. Brandon asked if he could see it. She gave it to him, he then said he could put it back up there for me and also try to straighten out my neighbor's cap. He went above and beyond. I am so impressed by him. This is by far the worst experience I have had with any company. They took almost a full calendar year to complete a kitchen and bathroom granite install. They could not meet a single deadline causing a delay and ultimate cancellation of a family vacation. AMG ordered the wrong granite to begin with, and through a circus of missed appointments and lies, eventually resulted in me needing to hire another company to finish installing. Over the course of this job I compiled the list of stories and outright lies told by this company including an attempt to overcharge on an invoice, and it is astouding. There are many other options in the Treasure Valley to choose from. How this company has remained in business based on their performance and ethics is quite the feat. Stay away from AMG.
