I accompanied my mother to IFS to start the process researching flooring options. We mainly dealt with Jennifer, but Katie also lent her expertise to answering our questions. Both ladies were knowledgeable and kind. They were attentive but not at all high pressure salespeople. We went to Great Floors later in the day to continue our research. Our experience there could not have been more different. The salesman was dismissive and rude. He then left us to look at the displays and never checked on us again. Great Floors had a larger selection, but most of displays lacked pricing information and no person there to answer our questions. We were the only people in the store. We recently replaced the 23-year-old flooring in our house. Idaho Floor Supply did an OUTSTANDING Job. It started when we met the owner Robbie. He explained what our options were and what we could expect during the remodel. The front-end staff Katy and Jenn were very helpful. They answered our phone call and kept us informed about time lines. Anthony and his crew were top-notched. Their installation was EXCELLENT. They were respectful of our house. They showed up when they were supposed to, cleaned up after themselves and helped us to store the extra pieces. As in all large projects they was a glitch. Robbie and his team recognized the problem and made it right. This is all you can ask for. I will probably never have to replace my flooring again. This month we had to replace the 12 year old carpet in the whole house due to stretching and ripple issues over the years. Are we GLAD that Rob and Idaho Floor Supply were there to handle the job! Good old customer service throughout the whole process. Robbie and his team took the time to walk us thru the carpet selection, comparisons, installation process and scheduling to insure that the whole process went smooth as silk! You know how it is these days: you have a project that requires a specific product, so you know you'll have to spend time and energy shopping around for exactly what you want/need at a price you can afford. And what you really, really hope for is that the entire process will be painless. These days, that feels a little like searching for a Unicorn. Alas, Idaho Flooring delivered on every level ... knowledgeable owner, immediate service, great price, and best of all, the entire transaction (from walking into the door to being loaded up and driving away) took less than 20 minutes. (We needed 350 sq ft of LVP for a small guest cottage.) Trust me, this is not your typical Home Depot/Lowe's experience ... it's how shopping in Idaho USED to be. Excellent products and outstanding service! Moving to a new home in the time of Covid and having to update a funky north end home was a tall order. I faced many, many challenges, however working with Idaho Floor Supply was not one of them. I love my new marmoleum flooring in the mud room and splurging on the wool carpet for my bedrooms was definitely the right decision. From choosing product to installation I found everyone to be kind, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to work with. And....when there's a problem....like when the cable installer drills through your 5 day old wood carpet and makes it look like an unraveled sweater and your teetering on the edge of killing the guy...they were there to hold my hand and work with the cable company to replace my beloved carpet. I don't write many reviews, but after our experience with Idaho Floor Supply, I had to share. We replaced our master bedroom and bathroom floors with LVT. Cam, Kevin, and Mike - the team - were amazing - very personable and professional - and helpful. You want your remodel to look great and you want the crew to clean up when done - these guys did it all. Our main bathroom and laundry room needed an upgrade as well, so, Robbie (the owner), he gave us information on a product we knew nothing about - we took his advice and the team came and applied LVT stick down flooring on top of the old linoleum and now, our floors look brand new and fantastic! Robbie has an eye for complementary colors. Next month, we will have them replace a portion of our family room carpet with additional LVT. I have no doubt the job will be done correctly and on-time. These guys are the A-Team, and we highly recommend them for your next flooring job. read more
