So, I searched for vacuum maintenance online and hoped that it wouldn't just be Sears. So, I found Mel's Vacuum & Janitorial Supply. I emailed them for an estimate. I didn't expect this, but they called me shortly after I sent my email. This is totally a plus to me because they are easy to reach and are eager to please. On top of that, she was very nice. So, I brought my trusty Hoover over to them. The moment I stepped in I felt like it was Christmas. They have all kinds of cleaning gear and a variety of vacuum cleaners to purchase. So, if my Hoover bites the dust so to speak I can come here for a new one. Mel's Vacuum is very knowledgeable and affordable. Had I known how low in price it was to fix it in the first place I wouldn't have bought my cheap bag-less vacuum cleaner. Anyway, they told me everything that was wrong with it. After a couple of days they were calling me back to tell me it was ready. I retrieved it yesterday and it looks and runs beautiful! These people are really great. They are so friendly and affordable. If you need your vacuum cleaner to be cleaned up or fixed take it here. You'll thank me later.

If it exists, there are snobs for it. Even in Boise - where the vast majority of the populace…read morethinks cabriole legs and Windsor chairs are still cutting-edge - one can find bona fide furniture snobs. These decorators congregate at Latta, the only spot in town for fanciers of ultra-modern furniture. Latta's downtown Boise showroom is bright through floor-to-ceiling windows, has clean lighting, and manages to be cozy while allowing for a lot of open space. This is the only place in Boise where you'll find Scandinavian design - and if, by "Scandinavian design", you think I mean "IKEA", please go and glue your jaws shut with a handful of Swedish fish. The display pieces at Latta teeter precariously on that blurry line between art and furniture. They push the envelope of what one considers a home furnishing. But, characteristic of high-concept contemporary furniture, most of Latta's pieces are about as functional as an As Seen On TV product. Even less functional, however, is Latta's system for ordering a piece. Clearly, you won't be walking out of Latta with your furniture in tow that day - everything is custom made to order. The intention of the showroom is to simply pique the customer's interests, tickle the brain, and spark ideas. But, Latta's furnitureistas are so standoffish that the customer must be gregariously proactive about asking after certain pieces or designers. There are no catalogues or literature for the customer to peruse or take home; the only way to see more of each designer's work is to log on to Latta's web site, then follow the links to each designer's site. It's ironic that a showroom touting sleek, streamlined furniture would make browsing so needlessly cumbersome. Then again, I'm an efficiency snob... Indeed, if it exists, there are snobs for it.

Additionally, when they sold it to us, they assured me it was waterproof, but water absolutely can seep through the seams between the panels, ESPECIALLY now that they are curling up. I don't know if this was a low quality product, or if the install job was done poorly, but either way, it's only a year later and I will probably have to have it all replaced. Look elsewhere, even if it means paying more.

He said, "Don't worry, I've got the guy." Man was he right! Nate's got over 20 years of experience and a skill level at the very top of his game. Ours was a very challenging installation that took Nate about twice as long as a job this size would normally take. He spent up to 45 minutes laying out just one seam to make sure the pattern matched perfectly. That seam runs down the center of the main living room and, so far, no one has been able to find it. Nate delivered the same level of work on every seam throughout the entire house; they're absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the installation or the service we received from the entire TUF Flooring team. If you have a job that has to be done right, these are the guys I'd call.
