At the same time, there is tremendous fun had on the daily at this school. Julian greets me at pick up with a big smile and a hug, his cheeks flushed from play and sand in his shoes. He excitedly shows me his projects and tells me funny stories and things he learned from the day. FDL is exceptional. If you have the chance to send your child there, take it. My son 100% understands Spanish when it is spoken to him and he mixes Spanish and English in his vocabulary regularly. This is coming to an end for Aria at ABCD as she will start kindergarten soon. It is such a bittersweet moment. But at least I know I will bring my second daughter to her soon. I'm not usually the online review type but the exceptional service from Idea Tutors compelled me to write this today. I cannot begin to state how crucial of a role they played in my kid's ACT and SAT prep. After shopping around, I landed on Idea Tutors and right away I knew they were the real deal. The person on the phone during our call was clear and concise with how things work. He mentioned how they will work around me and my daughter's schedule and come to our home in La Jolla. Right off the bat the tutoring sessions exceeded my expectations. I would pop my head in from time to time to check on my daughter and the tutor. She seemed so engaged and if a question ever arose, the tutor would take the time to explain things no matter how redundant it may have been. When it was all said and done, my daughter's score increased significantly. I was fully confident in the tutor's performance and in my daughter's ability to learn. Unfortunately, neither my wife nor I were proficient enough in math to aid our son in his calculus class, so we looked for some help. A family friend recommend the services of Idea Tutors and we were extremely satisfied with the outcome. Our son got an A in the class and passed the AP exam! At first visit, Stephanie arrived a few minutes before schedule to introduce herself to us and briefly told us about her experience and tutoring capabilities. Once I realized how important the GRE was for admissions, I decided to get a tutor to help me. The way it worked with Idea Tutors was they had me take a diagnostic test, then the tutor worked with me and helped me understand how to increase my score. The personalized lessons make it so much easier to learn than trying to do it alone. I improved my score drastically by focusing on the quantitive reasoning section. I simply called them to tell them what I needed (the staff are extremely helpful) and within a few days I was working with an amazing tutor named Sarah. Other places around town gave me a 4 to 5 day waiting period which is pretty inconvenient while I juggle school and work. The tutor I met with was Tyler. The tutor worked with my son once or twice a week every week leading up to the exam last week. He gave excellent tips for passing the course and it set me up for success, and I was able to pass the exam on the first attempt, with "above target" in all 3 of the test knowledge areas. Joe is a great instructor and the course is worthwhile. After course completion, I recommend everyone utilize PMA's online practice tests and do as many as they can before they take the actual exam. The questions are hard but don't get discouraged. Take the practice tests and review any areas of weakness. My only recommendation is for PMA to find a way to go through more practice questions during the 4-day course. We went through questions but going through the questions with the instructor to understand why you got a question wrong is invaluable.

With John's guidance and his use of real-world experiences, I was able to take away what I needed to study and ultimately pass my exam. The info he provided was way better than studying on my own and reading from the PIMBOK book. At the end of the BootCamp, he provides us with what you need to review afterward to pass, which made planning much easier. If you are working towards your PMP, I highly recommend this course with Project Management Academy, you won't regret it!

I got a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from CCHS in the 1990s. My review is limited…read moreto that timeframe. Back then, there were no schools in my area offering that degree. Nothing was online back then. I had to write a lot of papers and take proctored exams in person at my local library. The learning was superior. I use what I learned every day on my job. It was current and relevant. I have a BS degree from a reputable, brick-and-mortar college and have taken graduate-level courses from another. CCHS courses were far more challenging and I learned a lot more. The grading system was harsh. I saved a copy of it to show employers who ask for transcripts. They gave you a % grade, which they translated to a letter grade and then to a GPA. Problem is, the % grade translated to a letter grade one letter below standard! So if you got a 93%, that was a B on your transcript and calculated into your GPA as a B! Unbelievable. I will never get over that! Back then, the school was really disorganized. I had to call dozens of times just to get them to ship me the next course materials that I had paid for. I had many experiences like that. I would call and talk to different people who didn't know each other existed. This caused delays in completing the program. The flexibility was critical for me. Brick-and-mortar graduate programs back then all required part-time students to take 6-9 credit hours per semester; regional accreditation standards required that. I couldn't do that while working full-time and I couldn't afford it. Going with CCHS let me get my MS degree when no other programs could accommodate my needs. It was accredited, just not regionally, but because of the academic rigor and ridiculously hard grading system, IMO the degree really means something. I have not had difficulty finding jobs with it, although the lack of regional accreditation limits access to some positions (government, teaching). Pity, because it was actually a great education. I was SO disappointed they changed their name to Independence University. That name sounds like a diploma mill, which CCHS was not. I'm embarrassed to be associated with that name, to be honest.

Look elsewhere before signing up for this college!!!…read more With any degree program you have to make sure that what they say they have is what you will get. The dean of this center only cares about political moves and not the students who are attending the university. DeVry (who is the parent company) state that they major in careers that's great if you want to major at being a dishwasher. There are so many other credible places look at Webster or Ashford first.

I've learned a lot about business from the classes I've taken and have been able to apply what I've learned to my current career as an administration supervisor. Classes are two months long so you need to be willing to put in the time to really learn what the class has to offer. I went in to get a quote. i didn't really know anything about this business. it was recomended by a…read morefriend. Went in and Neelam S. Chaudhri quoted me $790. i was hesitant because it was a lot of money. i got both programs for 6 months paid up front. my son did the 6 months and showed a little bit of improvement. after the six months we were asked to renew. so i did i figured little improvement is better then none. when we renewed i was charged $1402. i almost fell over. my husband came in to talk to Neelam S. Chaudhri and she told him that she had made a mistake and that she had only charged me half of the tuition for the first six months and that we needed to quickly pay $790 for that last six months also on top of the $1402 that we had just paid maybe a week before. we decided to cancel. when we told her that she stated that we wouldn't have to pay for the 6 months since it was her mistake. My husband and i had lost our trust with her and her shady business dealings so he told her we would be canceling any way. when i got the refund from her it was only $191. she charged us for the 6 months any way plus two moths after (she had taken a long time to charge my card). also the way she treats the children is like she is herding cattle. she talks down to them and the work the children do there is work sheets the people grade them and thats about it. for $1400 every six months thats ridiculous. I guess the worst part is that if she had quoted me the $1400 in the first place i would have just left and not signed up at all. and now I'm out $2192 for nothing....
