I'd prefer they do their job rather than crediting us months after the service. We received a letter explaining it months after the fact. So how are we to know that you are charging correctly?! Their staff is not there to provide a service. I became a patient with them and explained how sensitive my teeth were. We, myself and Dr. Hannah Dickson, agreed on how to proceed with the cleaning. I needed a new nightguard and she instructed me it would be $200 for a hard night guard, not the soft one that I had. I wanted a replacement, soft like I had and was pretty much told they don't like doing that. It was hard or nothing. I agreed to the hard one, received it, and they fitted it. It was so hard that it suctioned to my teeth. It was uncomfortable and risked a cap that I have on my teeth. So I stopped using it. In 6 months, I went back for my next cleaning. I again requested the same process used in my prior cleaning. I was told that we didn't the process to treat for my sensitive teeth. Thankfully I was insistent and they reviewed my records to see I was correct before proceeding. We once again discussed the night guard and I insisted on a soft one. I was told it would be another $200 for the mold. I was not treated as if I had any part in my treatment plan or really as if my opinion on treatment mattered. I have spoken to their office manager several times, each time looking for clarity and each time met with rudeness and the attitude that she is doing me a favor. My advice is to find a different dentist, different office.

She ripped down between 2 of my teeth on the top row in front. When she was cleaning them, she split the bottom edge of my tooth. Not long after the visit I began eating. The tooth edge where she split it chipped off. I now have a chip located on the outer bottom edge of the tooth. Also, last year this same dental hygienist chipped off one of my lower front teeth in the back with a dental probe while also cleaning my teeth. This now causes me distress, because I can feel the tooth damage every time I run my tongue against my teeth. I won't be coming back again to Castle Dental on Fairmont parkway. Castle Dental has a good dentist Dr. Craig Mclure at this location, but not a good dental hygienist. I will be going somewhere else to have my teeth cleaned. Even if it means finding a new dentist somewhere else, I refuse to let that same dental hygienist clean my teeth.

I paid thousands ($6K) for an implant/crown for it to become loose. I was told to return if I ran into problems, so I scheduled a 30-minute appointment that turned into 2-hours of NEGLECT and MISTREATMENT. The OFFICE MANAGER, NICOLE TORRES is so unprofessional and horrible (refused to give me her last name when I asked-I found online). I was surprised when I saw office manager, Nicole Torres tending to patients (she is not a PA), was not wearing a mask, hair cover, nor scrubs! I kept repeating myself that I was a return patient, that I didn't need a full exam as I am currently with another dentist, but the x-ray tech still insisted to give me full x-rays when I said no. Three different dentists came into my patient room to "poke around" when I asked them not to. Dr. Thuang Vo came in and wanted to know how much my current dentist charged and repeatedly asked, when I told him an estimate he said, "That's cheap-must be cheap materials, cheap dentists, so you'll get what you pay for" - which I felt was unnecessary and not his concern. Dr. Greg Pham come into my office and I told him I didn't want a full exam - he looked at my x-rays and left. Then Dr. Boxiao Liang came in, opened my mouth and kept spraying cold air on me, poking and prodding at my teeth even when I asked him THREE TIMES TO STOP. The treatment coordinator (Maira Colunga) first brought in the wrong treatment sheet, then came in to say that my current crown/implant wasn't sealed (not complete). When I asked her what she meant, why wasn't it finished, and why did I need all the extra procedures as Dr. Liang didn't mention, she said I was asking too many questions and left. Nicole, Maira, and Dr. Liang then came back to my exam room - said I asking too many questions, that I needed braces, multiple fillings, an a screw replaced on the implant. I said, I ONLY CAME IN FOR AN IMPLANT SCREW TIGHTENING and have a dentist to handle everything else. Then, they said they'd tighten the screw for $200+ and I needed to pay then & there (in the back, and not in the front like other patients). Nicole took my debit card and didn't return for 20-30 minutes. In the meantime, I called my husband to come into my exam room as I felt very uncomfortable and was emotional by this time as I was worried the dentist/staff would do more than what I needed and/or could hurt me when I was under their care. I looked outside my room and saw Maira, asking her for my debit card and when I'd be seen. Then Nicole came back and was surprised I had called my husband in to care for me. My husband and I both asked when they would see me, and why they weren't doing the quick procedure I needed - which was a SCREW TIGHTENING. To make an even longer story shorter, Nicole said that "The dentists have no say in what procedures are done to patients, I do, the doctors are told what to do!". She said this infront of Dr. Liang. Dr. Liang just kept his head down. They left us again for 15-20 minutes and Maira said Nicole was in the next office, I went outside to look for Nicole and that's when I found her tending to patients. She quickly got up from the patient room - told me I as causing trouble, was asking too many questions, and she now refused to give me service. I asked her for a refund, and she said me and my husband needed to leave and she'd give me a refund and call the cops. Pearland Police were called, and I was waiting at the front desk (for about 15 minutes) when the officer arrived since Nicole nor Maira could figure out how to issue a debit card refund. The officer asked what was wrong - I told him I asked for a refund as I was mistreated, mishandled, and neglected by multiple dentist, office manager Nicole Torres, and treatment coordinator, Maira Colunga. That Multiple dentists wouldn't stop poking at my teeth when I asked them to repeatedly. I also told the police officer that why was an OFFICE MANAGER holding DENTAL EQUIPMENT in patient exam rooms with NO MASK, NO SCRUBS, nor hair cover? The police officer looked at me surprised, shook his head, said he'd wait until I was issued the refund to make sure we got to our vehicle safely. Nicole & Maira could never figure out how to issue a refund so they had to give me a check for what I had paid. I got the check, the police officer walked me and my husband out - told us to be careful and he was sorry for any inconvenience. It is unfortunate that the city police needs to apologize for the negligence of the Harmony Dental Pearland Dentists & Staff. I have left multiple emails and messages for supervisor/owner Dr. Tiffany Vo - who is related to one of the dentist Dr. Thao Vo. No one has responded (which was a yahoo email address - see picture). During mid session they were applying pressure inside my tooth till something snapped and it felt like an electrifying / stabbing sense of pain that I even shed a tear . Apparently they are changing systems and they didn't update the new one with my son's appointment. The hygienist left for the day and that was it. Nothing they could do but reschedule. Not even remorseful that I took time off from my job to do this appointment. Super inconsiderate, and the front desk lady has been cold and snotty like that every time. I called back after leaving told her to cancel the appointment and that I will find another dentist. Do not go there, was a waste of time and my hours for work I missed. That woman up front is the first impression of that place, I stayed because of the techs. But her negligence of doing her job and being cold is what drove me out. And will drive out other clients. That office needs better from staff.
