I'm not sure what's going on at Eco Bargains, but the store I started visiting 3 years ago has…read morereally changed and not for the better. It used to be when you came in they would display cool vintage appliances, stoves and even refrigerators sometimes. None of that today, just some new fiberglass tubs. I came here to find an old three-panel door. I was told by the greeter to go to the very back of the store. I walked past several full kitchen cabinet sets to enter what appeared to be a large unmarked extension of the store, albeit messier. There, I found four doors that were exactly what I was looking for. A less-than-polite young man approached me saying I couldn't be back here. They didn't mark the backroom entrance! Ok, put a sign out there buddy. I was later told the floor sign they displayed showing "Employees only" was removed so they could move some things around. Still that's no reason to be rude to customers! I proceeded to the door section. After looking for a while, I couldn't find what I needed. An older woman dressed in black volunteered to help. So I asked her specifically, did she have anymore of these 3-panel doors in the back room. To which, she said "If it's not out here we don't have it. We don't keep things in the back room." What a load, feigning helpfulness with the hopes I would take some of their old and beaten inventory off their hands. In the end, I couldn't justify purchasing anything off the floor. The stock was old, variety of stuff was way down, and helpfulness was nil. If you're looking for something special, go to your local ReStore. They'll be more polite, helpful, and they won't lie to your face and move you on like a piece of cattle. You might actually find what you're looking for.

NOT NICE! We drove about 40 miles to get to Eco Building…read moreBargains as this web site states that TODAY Saturday 3/27 the business is OPEN but upon arriving we found that the place is NOT open today.

For each project, VHI has provided timely service, helpful design suggestions, and precise installation with quality materials. Thank you Steve Silverman and Valley Home Improvement. Here is a timeline of why I would AVOID this business (most recent clarification re: their higjly inaccurate Houzz website response): *Am extremely dismayed that Steve Silverman has posted on the Houzz website that it was "another Steve" that we had dealt with, hence the lack of professionalism. Nope,, we definitely, 100% dealt w/ Mr. Silverman, he even gave us hos business card after the one visit we had with him on 9/18/2017 (which he claims was never in their system). Speaks volumes that they have to make up an excuse to explain being ghosted, after multiple promises of a followup. Please do your research and consider other more trustworthy and upfront businesses before going to VHI. Very SHADY & UNTRUSTWORTHY. I shall cooy/paste their Houzz reply. *Houzz Reply from VHI*- " Hi there - I sincerely apologize we weren't able to connect with you. I believe the Steve you met with (another Steve, we have 3) is no longer with the company - which is why you haven't heard back. We double checked the system, and no information was added from Sept 18th forward." *Original Google Review* Met w/ Steve on Sept. 18th for a condo reno project. We explained how we waited years to finally be able to start, and we discussed our budget, etc. Never heard back from Steve, weeks, then months after oir initial meeting. I touched base a few times, always in a pleasant manner, to inquire if an intial estimate/timeline could be discussed. Steve had one excuse after another-the most recent (recent being about a month ago) that he was going to a trade show, and would have the info within a week. I still haven't received a phone call. I completely understand things get hectic, and my husbamd and I are extremely patient, friendly, and flexible. However, to completelty blow off a client, is unacceptable and frankly, rude. My rating=Proceed With Caution!
