We did not have a plumbing emergency with a leaky faucet or a toilet that was temperamental but we had a new sink that needed to be installed. My wife has been wanting a new kitchen sink for some time and her heart was aglow when we picked up the Kraus sink at a local big box location. We called several plumbers for estimates and needless to say, they the estimates were 3 to 4 times the price of the sink. We contacted the big box location who in turned contacted Handy who in turn contact Joe at Everson. Joe came on the estimate date prepared and so profesional. We hit it off right from the beginning. What ensued was nothing short of long twisty road of communications between the big box retailer and Handy, but undetermined Joe stuck through it and spent a better part of an afternoon making phone calls on our behalf to Handy dot com and the big box retailer. I truly believe that if wasn't for Joe's unrelenting pursuit to complete the job, our sink would sit be sitting in its box in the garage. On the install day, Joe was precise and finished within a couple of hours. The sink is stunning. I'll never forget the look on my wife's face when she came home after working all day to see Joe adding the cutting board and the roll-away dish rack to her Kraus sink. It can only be described as glee. Joe is an amazing plumber is just the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He's not the plumber in your memes but he's the plumber who can make your kitchen or bathroom a dream. The "issue" he diagnosed wasn't even the actual issue. It was a bad wire, and clogged drain. Not a thermostat. Had we listened to him, we would have paid close to $1,000 and still not have had the answer. The tech was the one "freakin" on his so called diagnosis and pricing. Only call these guys if you want a tech that's doesn't actually care and treats you like a bad mechanic only there for the upsell. Editing to reply to the owner: I have no interest in training your technician how to not be a slime ball. You need to teach your techs how to be honest and more detailed, not just jump to the incorrect conclusion because it's a hot day. I know it was hot. I was the one suffering in my horribly hot house. The thermostat that he said needed replacing is working perfectly well. We had a neighbor with HVAC experience figure out the problem. Pretty bad when someone who left the business 10 years ago was better at the job than your paid tech. Even worse- me and ChatGPT figured out the clogged drain part. And I am not a handy person. If AI can do a better job than your technician- that's saying a whole hell of a lot.
