The staff was helpful and told me they'll have new catches available on Friday. I went back Friday after work and there was a lot more items to choose from. The sea urchin was calling out to me so I had to buy two trays since one is never enough. I was hoping to get some cerviche too but it wouldn't be ready for another half hour. I also got the ahi tuna, coho salmon and California halibut. Everything was very fresh and delicious! This is definitely a great spot to get fresh seafood, especially if you don't want to wait until the Saturday market.

Always check their flyer that has their incredible deals each month, including their Tuesday and Thursday special deals. They have great coffee every day. An incredible deli with all kinds of pastries made fresh and then their hot deli, including Fresh made sushi. Don't forget to check out Westridge market when you're in Ojai. I also picked up some pork chops and ribeye on special this week at the meat counter.

Also try the prepacked halibut ceviche $18.95/lb or ahi poke salad $25.95/lb. You can just get a small container for like $8. Parking is $3.50/hour on the main harbor, in front of the water. The fresh uni is SO popular so best to double check first. However, if you do snag their fresh uni, it's more than $10 less than another place I won't mention on Stearns Wharf - that's a big win! We ended up getting a whole lot of cod to munch on instead. We got a whole pound's worth of smoked black cod - half candy flavored and half savory flavored for $32 with tax & tip. Absolutely loved them both and prices seemed great for such well flavored, fresh fish. We liked the candy a touch more than the savory but enjoyed both. I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.

It was pretty busy already with folks enjoying the DJ's tunes, filipino food and overall vibes. I bought the traditional Halo halo dessert (see my pic) and it was decent. Through out the night there was free gifts, contests and lots of dancing. Overall fun family event to enjoy. Seafood City is located in a strip mall. Lots of free parking. I occasionally shop here for speciality asian items that I couldn't find at Island Pacific. Prices are a bit steeper here. Service is decent here, for both the food court and supermarket.

They were super helpful and helped us process it for free as well. Scaled, chopped, and cleaned the whole fish. We also got our favorite sweet spotted shrimp and ate it steamed and fresh. With the heads, we fried them and also made miso soup. Super tasty. For the halibut, make a simple mango chutney to pair with the grilled fish. You can also make fish tacos! Make sure to call them before hand to place large orders like this. Sometimes, it depends on what they catch each week so call ahead of time to find out what they caught. The market is pretty smelly and wet/dirty but that's what I expected. It's a fish market where boats and fisherman are coming in daily.
