We purchased a BlueStar oven about a year and a half ago. We love everything about it until a few…read moredays ago when the oven stopped working. When we set the oven to pre-heat it never got hot even after 15 min. The bottom of the oven remained cold to the touched. I called my dealer and they set up a service appointment with MVP Appliance Repair for a 2 days later. This morning Marco from MVP came to diagnose what the problem was. He was very polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Before anything Marco laid down a clean drop cloth and carefully removed the oven door and baking racks treating each with care. Marco was then able to assess the situation and identify a burned out heating unit as the culprit. He quickly replaced the part and even took the time to share some great tips for cleaning and ways of better utilizing my appliance. I am very satisfied with my experience with MVP Appliance Repairs and I especially want to commend Marco for his skill and professionalism.

He came by with an assistant, wearing masks and putting booties on their shoes when they walked in the house. He took apart the dryer and diagnosed the problem as a bad motor and he'd order the part, pick it up and install it the next day. So the next day, I took off work so I can get this taken care of and I didn't hear from him by mid day. I figured it would be later on, but decided to give him a call anyway to see the status but it went to voicemail. I called 2 more times that day with no call back. I took off of work because he said he was coming the next day and he never showed up or even bothered to call me. The next day he did call me in the morning and said he will come that following day. He finally came and fixed the dryer which I was grateful for. He did leave a small mess behind which is in the picture, plus a little more, which included plastic wrappers, the old motor belt, screws, and a water bottle all on the floor. Like I said, I was grateful for him to fix the dryer but at least clean up after you are done especially since there is a garage can within 4 feet of the dryer. It did cost me a couple hundred bucks, which I felt was a little high, but I also felt I was at the mercy of a repairman during a pandemic and just needed it fixed. Overall, I am glad he fixed the dryer. If he communicated better and cleaned up after himself, this would be a little bit more of a positive review.
