Surprisingly I had a good experience here last Sunday. This store was empty and I was able to get the help I needed right away. My child already lost 2 of his uniform ties so I had to replace them, plus a pants and a gym outfit. I "forgot" my 10% off card, the line I always you so remember to walk with yours or tell them you forgot it at home by mistake. The store overall isnt the cheapest but they are the only ones that have the school ties and embroid the gym top.

This store sells good qualities items but the waitin line to get your school's logo printed on the shirt takes wayyyyyy to long. I've stayed in line with my 2 friends for over 30 minutes waiting for this logo to be printed on the shirt. The clothes and items they sell here are good qualitity but the waiting takes way to. Update: I'm in the store for the second time this week, all because they messed up my order. I asked for a youth medium and they gave me a extra small shirt. Now not only do I have to wait in line for another hour just like yesterday but now there refusing to help me. Telling me to "place an order" when there clearly printing other people's shirts.

The bull shit. We have to now drive 30 MIN to Brooklyn so that the idiots can remove a security sensor!!!!!!!!!

The sales lady was attentive but not annoyingly following me around or anything. She let me do my own shopping until she noticed me looking for children sizes, then she asked if she could help me. She was knowledgeable about the products and over all pleasant. I wish I got her name so I could give her a shot out lol. Would recommend this store if you are looking for cute and unique items for children at a pretty fair price. I ended up with the cutest hat, that my daughter absolutely loved! And a pair of pants that fit her perfectly.

As the name suggests, it's on the smaller side, but they pack in a nice selection of home goods and clothes for all ages, with a clear focus on children's items. You'll find tons of cutesy, well-designed things from several recognizable brands. It's the kind of place where you can pop in and easily find a charming gift or a special outfit for a little one. The quality of what we saw was alright, nothing extraordinary, but perfectly fine, and the prices felt similarly alright, matching the quality you get. It's a sweet, straightforward spot. If you're in the area and looking for something charming for a child, it's definitely worth a quick look inside.

You'll find the classics: chopsticks, ceramics, Lucky Cat statues, loose leaf teas alongside nostalgic snacks, fans, patterned paper, clothes/ qi paos, purses, and other beautifully designed everyday items. Everything is just so well curated, this is one of the best places to find a gift for someone when you don't know what you're looking for. Some of my favorite things to pick up here: Tiger Balm, lanterns, fans, incense sticks, tea sets, slippers. It's also still family owned and has been in operation for 55 years now (since 1971!). Over all, i like this place, feels like it instantly transports me to China with out leaving NYc.

I have never visited this store in person. I discovered it on Instagram when I fell through a…read morerabbit hole. The aesthetic of the shop and the product offering (great fifty items, a lot of local products, fun greeting cards, plants!) is what drew me to follow them. Having a "Visit Ridgewood Day" and and shop and Stay Forever was on my to-do list this spring, but now we're all grounded. I was so happy to see that the owners took a creative way to drum up some business during a very uncertain time but selling all types of care packages. I decided to buy a surprise box for my friend, and she loved it. It included a candle and a gorgeous spring green journal. I ended up buying three more boxes for my friends' children; I cannot wait to see the pics of their loot from Stay Forever. I will definitely be visiting this local women-owned business when things get better.

However, I had a really frustrating experience recently regarding their return policy. A high-end item was placed in a bucket on the floor, where the price was not visible and the price sign of a neighboring item was visible instead of that particular item. Because the store was crowded, and they don't print receipts, I didn't catch the massive price jump at the register until after I paid. When I immediately went back inside to return the item and explain the misleading signage setup, I was told they only offer store credit or gift cards- No refunds. For an independent local boutique, a completely inflexible 'No refund' policy for an honest, immediate mistake leaves a really bad taste in your mouth. If you shop here, just be sure to double-check the price of absolutely everything at the register before you hand over your payment, because once they have your money, you are stuck with it. UPDATE: The owner publicly responded with a smooth, passive-aggressive spin claiming they are 'totally flexible' and that returns are always allowed. However, she then privately messaged me a completely different story, admitting: 'While we do have a no refund policy... we do issue refunds for same day returns.'So, my original review was entirely accurate. The owner lied publicly to save face while admitting the truth in my DMs. She also condescendingly noted that the 'great thing about shopping small' is that the owners are 'one short email away.' But who should have to track down an owner's email inbox just to get basic, standard customer service? A customer shouldn't have to do extra labor to bypass an untrained staff member. The owner privately admitted she left two completely brand-new employees working totally solo during a hectic weekend shift. Leaving untrained staff alone to run a busy store isn't 'flexibility'--it's a massive management failure that directly results in misleading pricing and stressed-out customers and employees. While she privately apologized, the fact remains that their system is broken. It is not convenient for me to travel back to Ridgewood to fix a store error. I am keeping the item, but the review stays up as a historical record of terrible management.
