Nice spot, good coffee, and friendly staff. I always order a custom "Reese's" iced coffee (they should honestly put it on the menu). Came for the grand opening and have been back since. Only downside--totally my fault--I keep forgetting to get my rewards card stamped, so I'm missing a few. Staff is always kind though, even wished me a Happy Easter and said God bless. Stopped in after an overnight camp out at Muddy Pond. I ordered a latte, and breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread. Both were extremely tasty and the portions were generous! They were out of sliced gluten free bread so substitute it for a gluten free bagel which was much appreciated! The staff are friendly and prompt! The interior of the place made me wish I didn't have to get back on the road! Plenty of room to sit, do work, or hang out with friends over coffee! read more

The coffee is excellent. We got a cold brew and an iced maple Cubano. Both were delicious. If this review were based on the coffee, dining area seating and decor, and the private parking lot this would have been a 5. I couldn't give a 5 because the staff didn't know anything about the ingredients in the baked goods, (though they were very apologetic about it and their overall manners were good). I really wanted a baked good but not enough to play roulette. We would definitely come back though. Cute place. And my husband is very hard to please when it comes to coffee and he was down right enthusiastic about that cold brew. read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars because the food and coffee options are good and varied, there are things you can't get elsewhere in the city and for the most part everything is delicious. Location and parking are convenient. However, the last SIX times I have gone here the service has been abysmal. They really need to have more than 2 people on for a place this size on a weekend morning. It takes minimum 1 hour to get your order. With the price you pay here, I don't want to wait over an hour for food, especially breakfast! We have given this place multiple chances because we like the menu and figured they were still a Newer coffee shop figuring it out. But regardless of who is working, the service is incredibly slow and the staff is rarely friendly. They've gotten visibly impatient with questions like "where can I find a napkin?" (They were out of napkins....). I really like their caprese avacado toast but it's not worth it at this point. It costs like $45 for two people to get breakfast and coffee but the building can't afford to have more than two employees in it at one time? last summer it wasn't like this. It's not even like they're off the wall busy either, I'd say I have only visited when there is a line of one or two people and plenty of empty seating left. I really hope this place can get it together and take valid negative reviews as honest feedback. It's in such a good spot and the overall aesthetic is very cute, and again menu is unique! Even if they don't get rid of the rude employees, if I were to see that the wait times aren't as long, I'd frequent this place a lot more. read more

We really love the Taunton location and decided to try Fitchburg. Unfortunately the reviews for this location were right. Service was fair and I could tell they were training new people. But $10.50 for a chicken Caesar wrap with no side/ chips/ anything is a bit much. I've worked in food service and in coffee shops, I don't care that the worker didn't know how to wrap a wrap yet- but how small the wrap was for the price was disappointing. I'll definitely be back for coffee (maple cubano for lifeeee) but will probably skip on the food. read more

I've been here on four separate occasions and each time I visit they are out of cold brew. I've been on different days of the week and at different times. Without fail they are always out of the one thing I am hoping to try. I normally settle for a latte which is just okay. The service is the real downfall of this establishment. The staff have not been friendly or accommodating. When asked when the best time to come in for cold brew would be, the girl at the counter gave me an attitude and said we make it and it sells out, we can't predict what time or day we will have it. I'll give this place a ton of credit when it comes to interior design, it has a nice modern vibe to it that totally invites you to come in, do some work, even catch up with friends. From my experience, the service is super hit or miss. I've been on days with the loveliest baristas that are bubbly and talkative and I've also been on days where it's easy to tell they DO NOT want to be there. The food is good, too expensive for what you get. Coffee is good, but I can't stand it when I'm charged to add syrup to my latte. We've been to identity twice now and have enjoyed it both times. The breakfast sandwiches are really fantastic! Recommend those. The avocado toast was lackluster only because I'm a fresh avocado girl and it looks/tastes like premade avocado spread. The lattes aren't very strong so get another shot if that's your thing. There's not too much on the menu yet (it says they are expanding) but my kids enjoyed a smoothie and a muffin and that's enough to keep us coming back. We love how the atmosphere is comfortable and cute. read more

We went in interested in trying out this new coffee shop and diner, but left more than a little disappointed. Maybe it's just working out the kinks, but I will be waiting a while before risking it again. The seating area is open and comfortable, with tables, comfy chairs and bar stools along the windows. It was busy, but did not feel crowded. The table and chairs were comfortable. The music was whinging light pop so not to my taste. Oddly, the hanging lights got in the way of reading the digital menu on the wall. An Americano costs ~$5, which is a little silly given the price of an espresso...hot water costs $2+? So settled for drip coffee, but forgot to ask for room for cream--though the cashier didn't ask me, either--so I had to dump some coffee in the only trash bin. And then I had to _ask_ for cream, since it was not set out. The cashier took it out from underneath their counter, and I felt like I was having my dairy addition monitored. It's just weird. But the coffee was pretty good for drip. I ordered two sandwiches: a grilled cheese, and an OG Breakfast Sandwich without the bacon. Note that all the named sandwiches have bacon in them, which is not terribly inviting to vegetarians. The grilled cheese was made incredibly badly. There were at least five slices of cheese in the center (though they may have been folded in half) which is just too much. So the cheese was not melted, and the center one was fridge temperature. The OG Breakfast Sandwich would have worked better with the bacon that I skipped, so I think the designer may have had a good palate. The sandwich has a honey mustard spread which is fairly bitter without the bacon. This particular selection seems to not work vegetarian, though I do wonder how vegetarian bacon would stack up. As it was, the OG BS that I ate had the top bread toasted so hard it scratched my mouth, and the bottom bread was soggy. It seems to have been taken hot from a griddle straight to plate while waiting for the other sandwich to cook. The fried egg on it was rubbery and tough, cooked too hot and too long. Not a pleasant experience, and no subtlety. As a bonus, when we left we smelled like fried food because the kitchen does not have a door. I suspect most of these issues will be solved sometime in the future, but I'm not eager to throw another $20 at this kind of nonsense. I might try again, but I'm not sure if there's enough of a future for that place. read more

We came on Sunday, Sept. 29 for coffee and tea. We had been here about 4 other times and the coffee was wonderful. Today it is weak and frankly terrible! We loved the coffee previously, hence the reason we returned. Either they don't use enough coffee beans, or they are using an inferior roast. We love the place but, sadly not any more. I asked for a dark roast and they said we only have one kind and it's medium roast. So weak!! read more

The coffee is good but the food is not. Toast should be warm. It was completely cold and not what I wanted on a chilly, rainy morning. There was sufficient parking but might not be when the market for microbusinesses opens in the same building. Remember when Obama said Hillary Clinton was "likeable enough"? Service is like that, friendly enough, but these are not natural extroverts. The restaurant was quite dirty. There were crumbs on the table and the floors and dust on the windowsills although it's fairly new. The design of the tables was nice but all I could see was how dirty they were. An outstanding little coffee place! Wide selection, nice decor, the staff was helpful and friendly and pretty great, and the coffee is very good! I got a seasonal item, an apple crisp macchiatto that legit tastes like a spoonful of apple crisp that's been soaked in coffee! If I *had* to make a complaint, it would be that the decor is a little "live laugh love" for my personal taste, but even then, it's tasteful. A+, we *will* be back! read more
