For the longest time, I have been looking for a permanent salon to go to and I finally found it. Not only is it a great environment, but the staff is so incredibly friendly, and the service is great. Melissa was my hair dresser and she got me back right on time, asked me what I wanted and just really go to know me (that's so important to get to know your customers) when I told her I wanted bangs she asked "this isn't because of a break up is it" and we then got into lots of personal conversations! She made me feel welcome and warm and able to talk to her about anything! My hair turned out great, the price was well worth it, and it was just an over all amazing experience! read more

Marisa didn't style my hair after she cut it. Period. She charged me for style anyway. She would not refund nonstyle fee when I brought the overcharge to her attention and admitting that she didn't style my hair. Hair cut was subpar anyway. Identity Salon definitely does not have my business. read more

I was a random walk in one day about 4 years ago, and I've been going to Melissa every 6 weeks ever since! I love her! I trust her 100% when it comes to my hair. The stylists next to her always look like they make their clients happy too. Only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because I've had a couple issues with receptionists in the past not giving me reminder calls so I had to text Melissa to ask her. This hasn't happened lately, however. I went to Kara. Worst experience I've ever had at a salon. I dyed my hair with garnier box dye and let her know that and everything else I've had done to my hair. She said okay everything will come out really nicely and told me the whole time the color was coming out great until I looked in the mirror and realized she had burned a whole couple of layers of hair off of my head. I started crying because when I came in I had super nice and thick healthy hair. It was now super thin and I couldn't even put the burned pieces into a ponytail. Due to the fact that I was crying she proceeded to try to make me feel guilty for crying by saying that she had to shave someone's head earlier that day because they had cancer and that I should be grateful. I'm a very grateful person but when I walked in with super thick and healthy hair and walked out with grossly thin hair with burned pieces I was easily more than a little bit upset. If I could give this hairdresser less than one star I would. I also walked out with the exact same color I had came in there with. read more

I had my first appointment at Identity Salon today with Yonique. I have been coloring my hair myself for years and decided I wanted to lighten my color and add highlights. I had no idea where to go and chose Identity because of Google reviews. I'm so glad I went there! Yonique was amazing, very personable and experienced. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm so happy I found a salon to ca ll my own. I enjoyed saving a couple bucks coloring my hair myself, but the results just aren't the same! Extremely disappointed! I called and made an appointment a week ahead of time for 12:30 on a Saturday (my only day off). Drove half an hour to get there only to have the receptionist tell me I would have to come back around 3:00 because her first appointment put her behind. They never bothered to call and let me know or even apologize. read more
