Just overall a bad experience. I had to file my own nails. I just recently moved to the area so I just walked in but will never go to this place again. The woman who clearly has a lot of clients by appointment was sitting right next to us and did nothing to help the situation. I have been here twice and both of my experiences have been wonderful! Firstly, I LOVE how my nails turned out both times. I've had oval shape filing the first time and this time almond shape and the guy who did my nails did great at filing my nails. They were perfectly filed to my preference. He was so gentle at filing too, so I appreciated that. Secondly, he was not rushing my service so that he could move on to the next person. Again, much appreciated that!! And lastly, the atmosphere was peaceful here so I really enjoyed that! I think we all go and expect to relax and that's what I found here. Just quiet and comfortable. Myself, my daughter and granddaughter came to this salon for the first time for mani/gel/pedis. We were greeted by the owners Lee and Tina. They were the ones who also took care of us and we're wonderful. The salon is clean and the nail polish is placed strategically along the wall for decor. I called to get a nail fixed (1 nail that had chipped) and they seemed to busy to accommodate me but told me to come in anyway. I walked in he looked at my nail, stepped away from his client and just filed my nail down. Then proceeded to put glue on it (in which he got all over my finger) all because he was in a hurry. Said that should fix it. I drove all the way there for that!!! I could have done that myself at home. Then of course it chipped even more 2 days later. Again, I called and he said they were really busy but to come in at 6:30pm that night and that he should have time then. I drove all the way there (about 25 minute drive or so), got there about 6:20 and all of the lights were off, door was locked and there were no cars around. I waited in my car till 6:30 thinking they stepped out for a minute. Went back to the door again at 6:30 and same thing. I called the phone number about 3 times and it rang and rang. The voicemail picked up and the mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. I was so pissed. I called today to ask where he was and he proceeded to tell me that he was there and he also had the audacity to ask me if i went to the right place. Seriously!!! So now that was 2 waisted trips with no results. He kept saying well I don't know i was here. No, no one was there. I told him to cancel my next appointment and I will never go back there again. After my first time getting a gel mani and regular pedicure I decided to make OP Nails my regular place as I was very satisfied with the service. However, I left very disappointed today as the selection of gel that had matching regular polish was seriously lacking variety. The water that I was asked to soak my feet in was so hot that it turned my skin red. I asked the technician to file my nails into an oval shape and they ended up quite boxy despite correcting her once. On top of this, I was charged an extra dollar for using my card to pay for my lackluster service. I will be looking for a new spot to get a mani/ pedi after today. read more

I recently moved to Grand Blanc and OP Nail is less than a half mile from my house. My friend and I went in for a mani and pedi and loved it! It wasn't that long of a wait, and each nail tech was ridiculously nice to talk to. They have a great selection of colors (shellac & regular), and took their time when doing the mani and pedi. Called to set up an appointment as I wanted to take my (86 year old) mother for a Mother's Day present. 1. They do not make appointments. 2. I asked if I could come in, put our name on the list, find out how long, and then go and get my mom. I was told no .... if I leave, even if I am back before my name would be called, they would not take me and I would have to go at the end of the list. They said the wait could be 2-3 hours and you have to stay there and wait. read more

This place is amazing! They are so friendly and accommodating. They make the experience fun and relaxing. I laughed the whole time during my manicure and was able to relax and enjoy my pedicure. They took their time making sure they did quality work. My manicure lasted until it was growing out. The shellac never chipped or lifted. My pedicure was amazing. They have a beautiful, clean salon. I just got a pedicure and an eyebrow wax in under a half hour. The Woman who did my nails was so rushed. She worked so fast and did not focus any attention on my feet. It felt like a waste of money. The eyebrow wax turned out well but it was also rushed. I was afraid that she waxed off my whole brow. there wasn't a long line or customers waiting so I am not sure why she was so rushed? I showed up at 5 PM, she started at 5:30, and I was out the door by 5:55. I actually waited longer than the services provided. read more

I went in to get my nails done today Well they look alright. But the lady seriously made me bleed she tore up my cuticles and right under my nail so bad. Like come on be gentle you are working with customers not a manic-an. Just wish they would be more gentle with there customers my sister also started bleeding from her its like ouch. It would be nice if they only spoke English when they were doing your nails as well not speak to each other in a different language and us customers not know what there talking about read more
