Had a very fast experience here recently to get fingerprinted for an employment opportunity. I had a morning appointment, got there 10 mins early and was taken by after waiting 2 minutes or so. The process was very quick and the woman doing the fingerprinting was efficient. The lobby is shared with another business and it only seats 3, but the receptionist was so very nice! People are nice, but don't follow their own instructions, no sign in rooster, you make an appointment but have to wait as first come first serve. So if you make appointments just show up on your day. read more

They can definetly improve their check in office appointments system. You walk there sit and wait. There is no appoitment check in system at all. The only thing you hear is : " Next". You have no idea who is next. IdentoGo, Get on board with a real check in system just as you already had with scheduling the appointments online. Not sure why this chaos. DO not go here. read more

This place is horrible! There's no point in scheduling a time because it's first come first serve. There's no type of check in. Staff just yells next from the room they never leave, so everyone in the waiting room rushes the hallway. Like I said, it doesn't matter if you have a scheduled time. It means absolutely nothing and the staff does not care one bit. read more

Making an appointment is irrelevant. My "appointment" was at 11:10 I wasn't seen until 11:38. Service as fast but wish customer service was implemented. You walk in and it's first come first serve. No one even comes to the front of the building to see who is waiting in the lobby. The girl working doesn't seem to even like her job. Bottom line don't bother making an appointment. read more

IdentoGO Center - Fingerprinting Near Me - Arlington, Texas

1601 E. Lamar Blvd is a Huge Cream Building (2 storeys) and IdentoGo is located inside this building downstairs on the1st floor in suite 118 A. Cash and PERSONAL checks NOT accepted. IdentoGo ACCEPTS: 1) Credit card (2.10 % service fee is charged when using a credit card) 2) Business check 3) Money order 4) Authorization code (aka coupon code). Ask your employer if they offer an authorization code/ reimbursement for background checks. In my case I was hired by a daycare and Identogo is this daycare's contractor who does background checks for employees working at the daycare so $40.58 total for TX Daycare License done thru IdentoGo. ($39.75 for background check plus $0.83 for IdentoGo service fee). For fingerprinting process: schedule your appointment online, on day of appointment sign in on the clip board and take a seat. If you don't see an employee behind the sign in desk, or anyone in sight and you're the only 1 waiting, make noise to let staff in the back room know you're in the waiting area. Someone will come get you and tell you which backroom to wait in. Before fingerprinting, they ask for: 1) Social Security number (I wasn't asked to show my card but they needed the number) 2) Form of I.D 3) Method of payment. They DON'T RETURN these DOCS UNTIL YOU FINISH THE PROCESS. For fingerprinting process (or a daycare license), a person behind a computer asks you to place both thumbs on a glass screen (resembles the 1 you see under a microscope in a lab setting), then 4 fingers of your right hand and 4 fingers of your left hand. Next, your picture is taken and you sign on an electronic keypad accepting IdentoGo service fees and total costs. read more

I had to get a fingerprint done for nursing school & although I live 40 mins away from this location, it was the only location available with appointment openings for the day I needed to go. It was a little confusing to find the business but once you see the sign, you can't miss it. I've been to another identoGO center in a different city & comparing the 2 locations, this one is SO MUCH cleaner. When you walk in, you sign in on the binder & take a seat until your name is called. They have hand sanitizer on the table for your use as well. I was in my seat for less than a min before they called me up next. The lady who helped me was really sweet & the whole process took less than 5 mins. Overall positive experience & if I ever have to do anything with identoGO again, I'm willing to make the 40 min drive to come to this location again. read more

What a waste of time! I called to find out when the earliest time might be when I could get my finger prints. I was on hold for a very long time and then when someone picked up. They would not give me an answer with out asking a long list of questions. I finally told the girl that I did not feel comfortable giving out so much info without know if I wanted to do business with them or not . She said her system would not allow her to give me a possible date or time until she filled out everything on her screen. I told her that was not acceptable to ask so many personal questions before telling me of available dates. I called two other companies and got immediately answers. read more

My wife and I recently received notification by mail that we must be fingerprinted for our license renewal. We set appointments on October 24th at 9:00 A.M. at 1601 E. Lamar Blvd. Upon arrival, we were directed to have a seat outside the two rooms used for fingerprinting. Located in this area were two chairs and a "Boom Box" that was playing music at a very loud level. In fact, it was so loud we were unable to communicate with each other. I turned down the "Boom Box" so I could hear what my wife was saying. Seconds later an employee screamed out "Whoever turned the music down turn it back up". I then turned the boom box sound back up. Again a scream from the fingerprinting room that announced "If you don't like the music move to the front". My wife and I then relocated to a front waiting room. Later, when it was our turn, an employee approached us and asked for pertinent information (including the last four numbers of my social security, i.e. Hippa violation in other forms of business) in front of other clients waiting for their appointment times. Then each of us was taken into a room where we were fingerprinted, had our picture taken, and payments were conducted. Later that day my wife was contacted by phone that she would have to be fingerprinted again. We returned to the same location the next day where a new employee greeted us. While explaining to this individual why we were there a scream bellowed from the same back room that said "You have to make another appointment". Next, my wife was told 'There must be something suspicious about the fingerprints' in front of other clients. My wife and I left the location with no intention of every going back there. In summary, probably the worst customer service encounter I have ever experienced! They "bully" the clients, ask for private information in front of other clients, scream from room to room, play music well above normal levels, etc... I would not recommend this location to anyone.
