I was accidentally cut while Rosie was removing my gel nail polish. When I mentioned it, she denied that she had cut me, even though I could feel that I was bleeding. That response made me uncomfortable, so I asked if someone else could finish the service. Rosie became visibly upset, and it seemed like she was speaking about the situation in another language and it felt like the whole vibe changed . My husband and I received pedicures here. That evening he mentioned his feet were hurting. When I looked he had developed blisters on the top center of both feet. The next day when I went to speak to the person who did the pedicure she asked if he had new shoes or if he was allergic to anything. Which the shoes he was wearing were fine and he is not allergic to. She did nothing to accept responsibility or an apology. read more

I don't know why I keep going here. I really don't. Probably because it's super close to my house and I tend to get lazy sometime. Maybe because my bf's mother goes there and I want to believe they're as good and lovely as she says they are . This is maybe my 7th visit here ... first time I got a fill in by a woman named Isabella ( I believe ) who literally sat down and told me she didn't want to be there. Literally my first impression of this place. Anyway she gave me a horrible, thick fill in. Rushed it- two of my nails were not even the same length. Clearly she REALLY didn't want to be there . I mean I get it. We all have bad days. So I gave them another shot - I got them filled again by someone different this time and she did an even worse job. Since then I have been back and removed my acrylics... it took MONTHS for my nails to heal. Whatever glue or chemicals they're using are terrible and cheap. I have had acrylics on and off since 7th grade ( I'm 36 now) so I know what the f I'm talking about. Anyway I said " alright. Well I'll only get my lip and eyebrows waxed there then. They can't really f that up right?" Wrong. The last few times was fine I suppose but again - the customer service aspect is just god awful. This last time , this chick comes in , thinks I don't see her glance at my feet and asks if I want a pedicure. Like Jesus Christ y'all. If I wanted a pedicure I would have said it. You're lucky I'm even spending my money getting waxed here.. eyebrows were fine but the next day I was looking in the mirror in the sunlight and there was a TON of hair still left on my lip! Not impressed. I went in for a polish change on my toes and a manicure for my nails. They were annoyed because I didn't want shelac or have fake nails put on. The guy that did my toes must not normally do that because he had to be taught how to polish the nails. The girl that did my nails was okay. I didn't have them polished just left them natural. When I went to pay, it was $30. I said I thought the manicure is $15, how much was it to change nail polish? A lady spoke up and said "oh we increased our prices". I asked where that is posted because the paper I look at said $15 for manicure. She then says, oh we need to change it. Manicure is bow $18 and polish change is $12. I will never go back there. Oh and the best part... they don't clean their equipment. The clippers she used for my manicure, she dipped in dirty water a put back in the package. read more

This is the worst place! After 49 minutes the nail tech only had 2 nails done. First they couldn't get the shape right. After telling him over and over. Next the tio was over my nail into my skin. Had to show him how to file the nail correctly. Then after 49 minutes he had only done two nails. So asked to remove. This is what my nails looked like when I left one hour later. Do not recommend. I have been going to this salon for a while now. But I am going to try a different location. First they are very expensive. For a shellac fill, replacement nail, pedicure and tip was over 100.00. In the past I have had my eyebrows waxed. The last time she automatically did my lip that I didn't ask for and charged me for it. This last time I had the older lady and said I want my nails short like the thumb nail she replaced. Not only I had to tell her several times to make them short to match my thumb, but she hurt me on more than one occasion. Especially with the pedicure. So everything was ok at first, they were soaking off my prev shellac/dip nails on one hand but then he started to rush and started popping off the shellac/dip on my other hand. That can seriously ruin my nail bed. I also witnessed him not washing his hands between clients. Then when he was cutting my cuticles he cut me twice. It happened to be on both pinky fingers. They were swollen and red the next day. I was worried it could get infected so I washed it with soap and put Neosporin on it right when I got home. Disappointed :( read more

I got a pedicure and a shellac manicure and for the most part, I was happy with the service. The pedicure was AMAZING - I love it when they don't skimp on the foot massage and they didn't here so I was very pleased with the pedicure. The one draw back was my manicure. He asked if I wanted my nails cut and I said to just cut them back until they were even with my shortest nail. Well, all of my nails were cut very short. I guess when I go back, I'll make sure they just file and not do any cutting. But other than cutting my fingernails too short, the polish and the rest of the experience was spot on. This place is very relaxing. Of course in Corpus you have your pick of nail salons. But this place never disappoints. It's large and the wait is minimal to none at times. First time trying this nail salon. Only came because it was close to my house. I wanted a French tips so she started clipping the tips and they looked ok so she continued. When she got to my index finger and thumb she cut way too short. I didn't say anything bc I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable and mess the rest of my nails up. Not to mention she was on the phone the entire time and I felt like she was just rushing to get me out of there. The guy that did her nails was asking her inappropriate questions (i.e. where do you live? and how old are you? Name?) This is the absolute WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I decided to try this place out and went to get my normal shellac manicure and it turned out to be the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. First off, the manicurist I had was extremely rough making the manicure more painful than relaxing. She cut way too much from the cuticles so everything she did after that caused pain. Then I picked a color that was a shade of magenta but turned out to be neon orange/pink. When I showed her the comparison between what it should have been and what it was she reluctantly changed the color. When she was changing the color she was even more rough and she was very obviously talking bad about me to the other employees. Then when I looked at my finished nails I saw how awful of a job she did. She painted right on to the cuticles with shellac. I could have done a better job blindfolded. So now my fingers hurt and the shellac will likely only last a few days because of the awful job she did. read more
