I've been going here for over a year & I always use Amy. Other places,I've had to tell them when a nail is filed crooked etc & they'll act like they don't know what I'm talking about,or get mad. Amy always fixes it w/o any attitude,& I hardly have any crooked nails bc she's so good! I get dipped powder nails with shellac polish on top. They never ever chip or break,& I'm pretty rough with my nails. Highly recommend this place. read more

I just moved to corpus from San Antonio and went to get my nails done here for the first time. My nail lady back in SA always does tips (if my nails are too short), dip and then solar top coat to make them extra strong. This is EXACTLY what I asked for and all I got were some crazy looking "solar" tips and no dip. When they guy started doing the solar top coat I even asked "are we still doing dip?" I had picked out a color and everything and he responded yes. After he finished the top coat he said we were done. And I said what about the dip he proceeded to get angry and throw his bill book. It took him an hour and half to do the shit job you see in the picture. The woman, who I am assuming is the owner, offered to fix them the next day but she would have to start totally over and I was not about to sit for another HOUR AND HALF especially when that guy was mean mugging me and she had to talk to him to calm him down. If I could give no stars, I would. Only reason for one is really that woman offering to fix them - she even knew they look like trash. Who would ask for this!? She should fire him immediately! read more

Went in for a manicure. Old polish (red) was left on my fingers from the acetone. I had acrylic nails prior and the curves on my nails were not filed down smooth. Paid for a manicure that lasted less than 4 hours, The polish chipped off. I had a function to go to. Will not return. read more

I liked this nail salon. It wasn't bad but I didn't like the way my toe nails were painted messy and then cleaned up with a brush and acetone. Because of that technique the side of my toenail is not painted. My toe nails were cut down and not shaped, the big toes were left uneven and the small toes are round instead of squared like the big toes. I have some calluses on my big toes and they charge an extra $5 to remove callus which I agreed to but he barely even touched that surface. Also one good thing was that the man did a great job on the massage with the hot stones. That by far was my favorite part of the whole experience here. read more

This is one of the worst salons I've been to. The nail tech didn't know how to shape the acrylics correctly and made my nails different lengths. She made my nail polish so thick it looked 3D. They mest up so fast I had to go buy acrylic nail polish remover and redo them myself. 3 of them have broken and it's only been 6 days. Whenever I tried to tell her they looked wrong she said "if you got a darker color it need less coats so it be less thick" I started laughing because are you serious?? LOL I'm 100% convinced her license must've been fake because I have never experienced what I did before this salon. read more

The pedicure itself was awesome! Truly. I do get crosseyed "inside" however, when to get the calluses removed I have to pay $5. Definition of pedicure: "Classic pedicures are what you probably learned in school. Shape the nails and cuticle area, slough the feet and/or legs, massage calves and feet, and finish with an invigorating peppermint-type lotion." Additionally, I was quite taken by surprise, when the girl rinsed the utensils used to slough off my calluses on my feet into my foot water and then PUT MY FEET BACK INTO THE WATER, swimming with my dead skin. Eww! It was really gross. It seems that this shouldn't happen as in a hygienic angle or something -- and in my 20 years of having pedicures, I've never seen anyone do this! Sure, she rinsed off my feet before polishing the toes, but still.....just .... gross. As good as the pedicure itself and massage of the foot area were, I likely will not return because A) I can find plenty of places that for $20 will include the callus removal as part of a standard pedicure; B) I don't want to stick my feet in water that has had the utensils used on my feet, especially after callus removal, washed in..ever again. I'm still thinkin' about that ... four days later every time I admire my pretty toes. read more

Horrible service‼‼‼ Went in for a full set and was okay the first time but th went in for a refill and the refill was so uneven not filled down. Maybe because they were not wanting to accept any more customers and told me the y were booked but someone they know walked right in and they took her After asking her what she needed. So they made me wait for over an hour and we got our refills which ended up being a horrible job Shem I got home to actually see them. My middle fingers were flat compared to the burned coffin look I had on all others. Then 2 days later my nails felt so weak th one broke off and the next day another broke off. I called them to let them know and rudely told I need new nails. They gladly took my money but didn't tell m me why my nails were cracking and now 4 days after they tell me to pay for new set. DO NOT GO THERE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY and don't care to fix what they messed up on. read more

This place just opened and I just found it accidentally while I was looking for a last minute pedicure. Very clean, nice environment. Jimmy was exceptionally nice and did a great job on my nails. They serve margaritas ( or water or soda if you're in to that) with the pedicure (deluxe and exotic). A little pricey if you go for the deluxe or exotic but it includes the drink and neck wrap and hot stones and paraffin wax so it's hard to beat. I have had a lot of pedicures and this is the only place that I have ever seen them use fresh fruit during the pedicure which was so refreshing. They also give you a warm herbal neck wrap during the pedicure. They use disposable liners for the water basins... Again I have never seen a place that does that. They also have cute little kid friendly pedicure chairs if you have littles one Which seems like a nice touch. I am from outta town and only here for the month,but I will definitely be coming back here before I leave. Great customer service and they seem to pay attention to all the small details. So glad I randomly found this place, can't say enough good things! read more

Not the worst experience I've ever had, but also not the best. Unimpressed. Some of my nails were different lengths & filed crooked. Asked her to fix them but I still left w crooked nails. She didn't paint the shellac close to my cuticle at all, my nails look like they've already been growing out for a week. read more
