I've been going here for over a year & I always use Amy. Other places,I've had to tell them when a nail is filed crooked etc & they'll act like they don't know what I'm talking about,or get mad. Amy always fixes it w/o any attitude,& I hardly have any crooked nails bc she's so good! I get dipped powder nails with shellac polish on top. They never ever chip or break,& I'm pretty rough with my nails. Highly recommend this place.

This is the best nail salon, they are very friendly and welcoming. My pedicures are always fantastic! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I just moved to corpus from San Antonio and went to get my nails done here for the first time. My nail lady back in SA always does tips (if my nails are too short), dip and then solar top coat to make them extra strong. This is EXACTLY what I asked for and all I got were some crazy looking "solar" tips and no dip. When they guy started doing the solar top coat I even asked "are we still doing dip?" I had picked out a color and everything and he responded yes. After he finished the top coat he said we were done. And I said what about the dip he proceeded to get angry and throw his bill book. It took him an hour and half to do the shit job you see in the picture. The woman, who I am assuming is the owner, offered to fix them the next day but she would have to start totally over and I was not about to sit for another HOUR AND HALF especially when that guy was mean mugging me and she had to talk to him to calm him down. If I could give no stars, I would. Only reason for one is really that woman offering to fix them - she even knew they look like trash. Who would ask for this!? She should fire him immediately!

Toes look awesome. Feeling really pampered. Thank goodness a good, clean nail place opened that is convenient & also open on Sundays! Margaritas come with Deluxe and higher pedis. I will most definitely be coming back!!!!

Natalie did such an amazing job on my mani and eyebrows as well! She was very very sweet and accommodating lady. I had an appointment but the walk in time is very minimal as well.

Margaritas and pedicures, two of my favorite things!!

Tony did a great job. It has a lot of luxuries and you pay the extra money for it. But it was worth it.

I had an appointment today and unfortunately left feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated…read morewith my experience. I specifically wanted my nails to look nice for my husband's Coast Guard graduation ceremony this weekend, so I was especially upset with how the appointment turned out. I've had multiple French tips done at this salon before, but this is now the third time I've been scheduled with Jay, and each experience has involved an argument over what I'm asking for. I ultimately leave with nails that are not what I requested, and today I paid $137 for a manicure and pedicure that I am extremely unhappy with. I asked for a barely-there light pink French tip using Funny Bunny for the milky-white tips. I showed Jay a picture of exactly what I wanted. Multiple times throughout the appointment, I had to correct him because the base color was looking too orange and too dark. He assured me it was fine. I specifically told him that I wanted a very light pink base with the milky-white Funny Bunny tips. He then told me, "No, it won't look good. It's too light." He suggested doing chrome instead and said that the French tip "won't look good, in my opinion." I explained that I felt it wasn't going to look right because the nude color he had chosen was too orange and dark, and that I had specifically asked for a French tip with Funny Bunny. He then told me he was only going to use bright white because Funny Bunny "won't look good." At that point, I was so frustrated and uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave, so I agreed to the bright white even though it was not what I had originally requested. Unfortunately, the final result is not what I wanted at all, and I'm now stuck with nails I paid $137 for that I don't feel comfortable wearing to an important event. I was so upset during the appointment that I almost started crying. I understand that nail technicians may have professional opinions about what will look best, but there is a difference between offering a suggestion and repeatedly refusing to do the colors and style a paying customer has clearly requested. I shouldn't have to argue with my nail technician every time I'm scheduled with him just to get the color, shape, and style I asked for. I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and like my concerns were completely dismissed. Below is my receipt and the picture I asked for and what I ended up with. Services: Manicure, Pedicure Requested style: Barely-there light pink French tip with milky-white Funny Bunny tips.

One-star nightmare with Nina the "nail tech." Went in…read moreexpecting a basic fill and shape. What we got was amateur hour that shouldn't be charged for, let alone defended. Lena left zero apex on one nail -- completely flat and weak. On the rest she didn't pack the acrylic into the sidewalls properly, leaving obvious pits along the sides. Basic technique she either never learned or simply doesn't bother to get right. To top it off, she was about to slap the top coat on without even cleaning the dust off the nails first. My wife calmly pointed out the problems and asked her to fix them. Lena's response? She started crying. Not because the work was bad -- because someone expected her to correct her own mistakes. Then the tech next to her jumped in with the classic line: "It's your fault she's crying. You made her cry." No. The crying happened because Lena cannot perform the basic steps of the job she is being paid to do and collapses the second a client asks her to fix the damage she caused. That's not "mean clients." That's an inexperienced tech who shouldn't be touching clients' nails until she can build an apex, fill the sidewalls correctly, and remember to remove dust before top coat. $90 that should've been $0 after this experience. Save your money and your nails. Skip Nina and skip Ambient Nails.
