The gym is pretty kept up and clean. So glad to be going to such a motivating gym. The people there are so nice and respectful. I pay $30 a month with no other fees. So it's pretty great, if you ask me. :-) Tina is great! They even have a protein store next door/connected. I've grown so much with this gym. Love seeing familiar faces every once in a while. I come to this PRIVATE gym NOT a regular commercial gym and pay extra for privacy just so I can do my workout without being bothered. I have seen the 5 star reviews but that was before the old owner passed away. Due to new management and disturbance I will be cancelling my membership and going to no limit fitness right across the street.

The other members and the trainer Jorge Angulo are wonderful motivators and personable. It didn't take long for me to get adjusted with the workouts and the pace. Everyone works out so hard it pushes me to do better. I go after work which usually has one of the largest classes but the trainer walk around to see how you are doing, giving you tips on technique as well has push you to finish a set. Whenever I've had any questions regarding the weight I should start of with or proper technique, he's taken the time to show me and tweak certain things. I've only been going for a few months but I've learned more in those few months than I have in all of my years of casually going to the gym on my own. The bathrooms are very clean and they always have someone that keeps up on cleaning. The lady that is always here cleaning is very friendly and she often makes Cuban coffee for the guest. Parking has never been a problem even though this is a popular strip mall with many popular store choices so sometimes you may park a distance away. I don't think I could say anything bad about this gym. Their membership is reasonably priced and they provide trainers if you are interested. I never find this place too crowded where I would have to wait too long for machines. They also have many of cardio machines and they provide paper towels and sanitizer to use if you want to clean each equipment before you use them. Everything is layed out nicely.

The weights are spread all over the floor between dumbbells and plates and multiple areas. My wife almost tripped on one of the plates while we were waiting to complain to the GM.. their cable machines have very little accessories to use the machine machines because they're either broken or missing... Crunch fitness in North Tampa, a less populated area had a larger gym and three times the amount of freeways ... and all of them were religiously put back either by members or staff were here. They put white signs up on white paper on white poles nowhere near the weights for anyone to see them to be re-racked... the staff and the management don't care and flat out said LA Fitness would not do anything about these problems. I paid $300 to start this gym on a family membership for first last and an annual fee which is an absolute joke. ... they're charging you an annual fee before you're even there for the first year..... so I paid $300 to not be able to use free weights and to trip overweight while trying to find weights to use. And because of how busy the gym is at all times of the day, you will never get a real good workout in unless your plan is just do cardio. When I did complain to the GM, he made me wait while he was on a conference call with his boss who I heard him hang up with after he told me that boss was out of town, but he was just on a conference call with him.... I am the chief operating officer of a multimillion dollar international company. If it disgruntled customer called me while I'm on a board call I'm gonna tell the CEO and the rest of the board that I need to deal with a disgruntled customer and hang up immediately. He had me waiting for 20 minutes and then sent over a sales manager who essentially told me he had to wait for that guy anyway ..... And I did watch some of the employees so I try to have a conversation with the front desk looking at me and my wife as we tried to work out waiting for the manager and they were laughing.... After all three of them turned and looked at me and my wife. If you're looking for a real gym, this is not the place to go. It's overpriced, poorly staffed, poor equipment, and poor spacing for anyone to have a quality out. And I reached out to two vice presidents on LinkedIn and neither of them in the last 35 hours have called me back ... because they don't care.... The customer service in Miami has always been terrible, but this is just putrid... no wonder it has less than 2 1/2 stars and clearly LA Fitness or their general manager don't care..., that should tell you all you need to know... A real gym has signs on the glass in front of a dumbbells, not 15 feet away on a pole .... A real Jim tells their members you get two warnings if you're not re-racking your weights after that your membership is revoked and that didn't happen here and isn't happening here.
