I reached out to Itzel via Yelp and she was super responsive to my inquiry. She made the process very smooth and made booking with her a breeze. On the day of my appointment, she was very professional, kind, sweet, and easy to talk to. She made me feel less stressed on my big day. As for the makeup and hair, she definitely made me look like a million bucks because that is how I felt that day. The makeup looked super good (like a celebrity)- it was super smooth and lasted all day (as you can see on the photos). Since I wear glasses, I usually crease around my t-zone but with Itzel's expertise, my makeup did not crease or budge at all. I only had to retouch my lip and powder a bit but that was all I had to retouch throughout the day. Also, Itzel provides you with a small bag that includes the lip product she used, beauty blender, and powder puff to retouch which was a nice gesture and service of hers. All of my friends and family complimented me of how good I looked and I will definitely will be booking with Itzel in the future. Long overdue review! Contacting Itzel for pricing and availability in the beginning was easy, and she responded in a timely manner. Itzel prices were so reasonable for bride and bridesmaids which was a huge plus! I booked a makeup trial during the day of my bridal shower to get my monies worth, and truly get the most out of having a full face of makeup. During this time we went over details, my makeup style, my do's and don'ts, definitely recommend booking a trial if you're the bride. She was very professional at taking feedback and taking my requests. The day of the wedding she absolutely blew me away! She handled full face of detailed makeup on 4 bridesmaids (to their style) and the bride! She was friendly, professional, and remained focused. I contacted her to get information on her prices for hair and makeup. After she send me her invoice it clearly states that, for special occasions deposit will be lost only if you cancel less than 72 hours. I cancelled today and my appointment with her was supposed to be 12 days from today which is way more than 72 hours in advance. She now stated that only applies when you reschedule and not cancel. She really needs to make that clear on her invoice. That's the only reason I booked with her just in case I needed to cancel because unexpected things do happen.
