Facts: I am hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and by the time I got to Paradise Valley Cafe my clothing was in dire need of laundromat visit. So, I had a trail angel transport me to Idyllwild, where he proceeded to give me a full tour of the area, including showing me where the laundromat was located. I stayed in town for the afternoon shopped and ate with my trail family, but best of all I no longer had hiker smell. LOCATION: Easy to get to from anywhere in town... the campground and various accommodation are a short walk/drive away. There is a detergent, fabric softener etc. machine. My detergent was $1.00 for one loads worth. My washer load was 16 quarters/$4.00. NOTE: They have a change machine that will take up to twenty dollar bill. The dryer was 25 cents per 5 minutes. They have various size washers. I only used the smallest one. They have a seating both inside and out, electrical charging station, free WiFi, folding tables and two areas where you can hang garments on hangers. read more

Definitely a strong 4 of 5. Place is clean and I usually get there when it opens (8am) and I always see someone cleaning or sweeping. The staff is always nice and professional. Price is a little high IMO but it beats driving down the mountain for now. Loads with the new machines cost anywhere from $6 - $10 depending on the machine you use. Dryer cost is $0.25 for 5 min. So convenient and clean!- There was one other person doing laundry when I stopped by at 11am Monday so I had my pickings of machine. The owner, Eve, was around and gave me a grand tour as well. They have everything you need for a successful wash- change machine, the owners are usually onsite, sink with a big tub. Washer is $3 per wash and dryer is $25 for 10minutes. Detergent is $75 for an individual packet. I had a splendid time here; they even have a picnic bench outside if you wanted to lunch outside while you wait for your laundry. I didn't check the hours before coming and the woman working was super kind. I had an hour and if I hustled had enough time. I needed coins - they were kind enough to break a big bill but DO bring small bills and your own coins if you have them!! I'm a local who uses her services on a weekly basis. Her hours are posted on the door and haven't changed much even during covid pandemic. Shes keeps her place of business very clean and ask all customers to wear their mask properly. She has stayed behind and helped me personally with stained clothes, even offering her own personal products when mine ran out. She also is donated food often which she then offer to the community. I truly believe this woman has a heart of gold and look forward to my weekly laundry visit. I've also noticed locals coming in with sweets and tokens of appreciate. Stop in and say hi.. wash some clothes. Shes amazing. read more

There are plenty of machines yo choose from. Get there early, u will be in and out super quick. They open at 8am. Owners are great people, usually always on site. There is a change machine in side, so no need to get change some where else. Way better then the 1 in p.c., n has way more machines. read more

I had the best experience at this laundromat! I brought big comforter to the laundromat fully expecting a "typical" laundromat experience, but as soon as I walked in it was the opposite. The owner goes above and beyond with her customer care. Every person that came in there was treated like family and it made me feel very safe and comfortable. After the first wash, the stains didn't look any better and I told her I was going to come back in the morning after spot cleaning it more. She immediately gave me product recommendations for the best spot cleaners and told me she had a special detergent mix I could use when I came back. I ended up doing two more washes the second day, and she was super attentive and helpful the whole time. She gave me suggestions and answered all my questions (I never thought I could receive so much laundry advice! Lol). I had to leave it to dry because I had an obligation and when I came back it was folded and waiting for me! She even rotated it multiple times to make sure the whole thing was dry before removing it. After getting it home, there was a noticeable difference in how bright and clean it looked -- I am very happy. I would never think about leaving a review for a laundromat but this experience had to be noted! read more

You can do your laundry here!!! Quarter machine on site, just bring bills smaller than $20 for it. Excellent service dry cleaning.

1/2 the machines have signs saying not working. front loading machines are crusty with other peoples soap and stuff. Our family cabin is getting a washer dryer because using this place is for emergenies only read more

I was a customer at this facility and started washing my laundry around 6pm. Due to the conditions of the laundry mat and temperature I was sitting in my car that was literally right in front of the laundry mat. A little after 8pm i noticed all the lights turn off around the facility and assumed all the power turned off. I noticed that while in my car someone locked the facility while I was in my car. I called their phone line and spoke to a woman who stated that they close at 8PM. She said a man came by to lock up around 8pm and didn't see anyone in the vehicle. She was able to reach him and she said he was very angry but was on his way to open the door. He arrived approx. 5 minutes later and threaten me, stating in an aggressive tone and pointing his finger at me , " Never come to my laundry facility again or I will call the sheriffs department on you. I don't ever want you back!!!" . I replied in a calm and polite manner," thank you for coming." He opened the door and i grabbed my belongings as soon as possible. His tone and demeanor was the worst experience i have had by any company. There is no exterior posting of time and i fear he may have hit me. His demeanor and attitude was scary and I will never want any one to experience this treatment from anyone. Do not come to this facility. This older man has great hair and a beard and is approx. 6 ft. Keep away from your family and yourself because I fear he may be violent. read more
