I started taking tennis lessons in January with iTennis and so far I've had a great experience…read more I signed up as an adult beginner since I've never had any tennis training other than just hitting the ball around with friends. I appreciated the scheduling options for both during the week and the weekends. Signing up was a little confusing through the website as the current session classes are offered alongside the upcoming classes. You have to double check which session you're signing up for. Once I was signed up, I received an email receipt but not a formal confirmation and no instructions as to what to bring or wear or what to expect. The tennis rackets are not provided so you do need to bring your own. The coaches are really skilled and know what they're doing so I suggest you trust their method. You will get better if you listen to them. They're really good at assessing where you're at and meeting you there. They will also make sure you're in the appropriate level of class so they will bump you up or keep you in the same level depending on your skill level. So far I've taken two sessions of Adult Beginner I and I'm excited to be moving up to Adult Beginner II. I really appreciate that they are flexible in terms of making up a class if you have to miss one or one is canceled due to weather. The parking lot can be chaotic at times but you'll always find a spot. The tennis area is gated so you have to check in but it also means that the rest of the park activities don't generally interfere with the tennis classes aside from the noise and occasional weed smoke (usually observed during the evening classes). If you've been curious to try out tennis I highly recommend group classes.

It always took elite, former ATP-level players from other states to challenge Larry for the numerous titles he won, and many of them left as the runner up. I had the privilege of spending some time on court with Larry and, in that brief period, learned how the very best in this game think. He shared what his Father taught him: "..don't miss, put every ball back over the net and between the lines...notice I didn't say 'hit it hard', with lots of pace?" Sounds simple doesn't it? One of the larger ducks was acting like a puppy - it was so endearing and frightening at the same time. Right now there's a lot of construction. The main restroom area is being worked on. The parking near the dog park fills up quickly. I prefer this parking area compared to the main lot on the other side of the tennis courts. I love how they have racket ball courts but hardly see anyone using them. Overall, solid park and amenities.

This was my first visit to Ford Park. There's parking available, but the spots can fill up…read morequickly. To reach the ponds, after you park, you'll need to walk upwards to the left where there is a dirt foot trail to the ponds. There are two ponds. The first one that you'll see, is the smaller one. There are a few ducks that were here when we arrived. We saw several people fishing in this pond because the park recently stocked up the pond with fish. Although, when I spoke to someone who was leaving, they caught 3 fishes and were heading home. Another person who just arrived an hour earlier, still didn't catch any fish. My advice is to go early in the morning when the fish are hungry to catch the fish. To see the larger pond, just keep heading upwards to the right and you'll immediately see it to your left. This pond has most of the ducks congregating here. We saw less people fishing at this pond maybe because there were more ducks. The main reason to going to this park was to feed the ducks. You're not supposed to feed them bread. We brought bird seeds and sunflower seeds (with no salt) with us. When we went, there were three types of ducks: Mallards (The males have the pretty green colored feathers from their head to their necks while the females are covered with different shades of brown. I like the light tan feathered ones. You may see the all-white feathered Mallard which is pretty too.) Muscovy (they look like they're wearing red masks lol) The ones here were rather large compared to the other ducks. American Wigeon (they're smaller than the Mallard & Muscovy with green feather streak from their eyes going down their necks. At the top of their heads, the feathers are a white streak going down their necks as well. The main part of their body is covered with brown feathers.) Overall, we had an enjoyable time here feeding the ducks and relaxing in the park. Great free activity to bring along your kids to see the ducks. Just remember not to feed them bread because it lacks nutritional value and can lead to health problems for the birds.

This park is actually part of Bryn Mar Elementary. I didn't know the official name of the park…read moreuntil I looked it up. My kids call it the Blue Park because of the blue colors used on the play ground equipment. There is alot of land. So much of the park is not used. I think the playground should be expanded since they have so much room. They have 2 tennis courts. (which is used quite frequently) A baseball diamond which I don't see people on much. And two play areas. One on the west side of the school which consist of a two sections for older kids and younger kids. On the South east side there is another play area. It is further from the parking lot so most people don't use it. I think this section is used more for the school and may have been build by Bryn Mar. The play area uses a rubber mat which is good in case your kids fall. There is no basketball court, which on one hand is usually good because it keeps the knuckle heads away, however, considering the area in Loma Linda there isn't usually that kind of rif raf there anyway. North of here there is a few basketball courts that people frequent at Bryn Mawr Veterans Memorial Park. The neighborhood is nice. I think they should add a little more shade. There is a restroom near the play area which is good, but there is only one table with a canopy for shade. When it is a hot and sunny day it can be a problem. Especially if you don't want to get a tan, or a sun burn, or both!

Whether you're into sports, family time, or community events, you'll find something to enjoy. I usually come out to play tennis at the courts or check out the markets they host, usually on Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings. They also have fun community events like the community parking lot sale, where locals can sign up to have a yard sale at the park. My son loves the playgrounds (there are several for different age groups), and on weekends, it's always nice to stop by when there are baseball or softball games going on. The snack shack is usually open during games so its an easy and affordable stop for snacks, burgers and hot dogs. The park is always clean, well-kept, and full of life. It's great to see so many people using it for different things. I wish that they'd add some outdoor pickleball courts, but the community center nearby offers plenty of indoor options like pickleball, racquetball, volleyball, and basketball. The one thing that I have seen a lot of lately is kids/teens racing around on electric bikes/Surron-style bikes. The hills throughout the park are fun to ride, but just make sure to keep your eyes peeled, especially with letting your small kids roam around, to avoid potential accidents. Owverall, Yucaipa Community Park is one of those places that really brings the community together. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

There is an indoor and outdoor running track. Indoor gym with basketball, Volleyball, and pickleball. There are ping pong tables, virtual sports, fitness classes, free weights, weight machines, there are aerobics machines of all kinds including treadmills and ellipticals. There are outdoor sports fields and a lap pool and water slide. I probably missing something, but it is no wonder Loma Linda is a blue zone because of their diet, low stress Christian lifestyle, and fitness. Drayson is part of that. They open at 0530 (when I go) and though it is not crowded, there are a surprising amount of people who go both young and older.
