Absolutely horrific experience. I took my sweet, sensitive…read moredog Cruze here, and it was a mistake I deeply regret. From the moment we arrived, I had a bad feeling. The groomer (who gave off total de Vil vibes) yanked my dog by the neck, literally dragging her inside. I should have left then. I showed clear photos of how I wanted Cruze puppy cut groomed and was assured it could be done. I paid for a full groom (bath, haircut, nail trim, anal glands) -- but that's not what we got. When I picked her up, Cruze had two long shaved spots on her belly but no hair cut done, only two nails cut out of 4 paws so barely trimmed, and she was scooting frantically -- on dirt, concrete, grass. Something was clearly wrong. I messaged the groomer right away asking what happened -- no real answer, just that HE bathed her "after the anal glands" but who is He? Within 24 hours, Cruze was bleeding heavily from her rectum -- pools of blood, bloody stool -- it was heartbreaking. A $500 emergency vet visit, antibiotics, special diet, and days of worry followed. I am beyond upset. No animal should be treated this way. I would never trust this place again. I debated on writing a review, but this should be public knowledge on the lack of service. Please think twice before bringing your beloved pet here.

He's always exceptionally thorough, his staff is knowledgeable and helpful and each time I leave, I feel well informed about whatever issue I brought an animal in for and know that my pet has received great care and there won't need to have a follow up visit for the same issues unless I've been informed that it might be needed as can sometimes be the case with my diabetic dog. It's this dog in particular that will keep me going back to Dr Thinnes because of how thorough and knowledgeable he has been with helping me treat my Chloe and make sure she is healthy and in as optimal a shape as we can keep her.

The menu details the history of the place. The original owner started cooking burgers on an outdoor grill on auction day. Now run by her family, the outdoor has given way to small addition off the main auction barn. Breakfast items on the menu covered the basics nicely. The most expensive omelet was (I think) $6.99. We were here at lunch. About a dozen burgers, sandwiches and a couple of salads. Most expensive burger? $9.99. Dinner is also very basic in selection, dominated by beef (obviously.) But the most expensive steak was 12oz and only $19.99 with all of the trimmings. Other items included pork chops, chicken and other comfort food. This steak was the most expensive item on the menu. Save room for homemade pie! It would be worth it at $8 a slice, but they only charge $3.99 for a big slice or $12.99 for the whole pie! Oh...homemade soup and also potato salad...just..."word." Order both...you won't be disappointed. Breakfast is served until 11 AM (noon on weekends) and dinner starts at 5PM. Three MINOR things: 1. Restrooms are not ADA. Very, very small. 2. The Cracker basket served with soup was full of stale crackers. 3. They bring condiments to the table. The mayo bottle was very warm...nervous warm... I recently moved to Lake Havasu AZ & will still take the drive, the only Veterinarian office I trust with my fur babies. Can't thank them enough for their hard work, honesty and dedication to all animals, we need more Dr. Esplin's out there!
