I accidentally smashed my phone and destroyed the screen. We were unable to get any images to sign in so we could do a data transfer. Chris was able to get/give me a temporary screen so I could get my data transferred. He had to order it, wasn't in stock, it cost me $100. which I don't regret because my life would have been much more difficult without being able to erase/transfer some very confidential and important data from the old phone. He was friendly and helpful. I've never had to do something like this before so I can't speak to if the price was reasonable or not, but I was satisfied. read more

DON'T COME HERE. My son broke his iPad screen that he uses for school so I said let me go here for the first time. The Egyptian guy told me it needs to go to the warehouse looks like it's a motherboard issue it will cost $190 dollars it will take 3 days to be fixed. So I said let me call my wife she said the school told her to go to a different iPad fixing place in westbury on post ave that place gives a discount so I hung up on the phone with my wife told the guy. My wife told me to take the iPad back home she will take care of it getting fixed. So I felt bad for the guy that owes the place because I took 20 mins of his time I gave him 10 dollars and walked out. I drove to the other place Asian guy took iPad told me it's the screen it will be done in 2 hours and charged me 100 dollars to get fixed. How can someone run a business and lie to customers. THEY DO NOT USE OEM REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS LIKE THEIR WEBSITE SAYS! The screens they put on our devices are not original factory screens like their website says. They replaced my screen with an LCD screen which was noticeably different in color and refresh rate (scrolling was blurry). I requested that they please use a better screen for the $200 + I paid. They swapped it for an OLED screen which was better in color and refresh rate, however, it was defective. I couldn't text or type quickly without my screen glitching out. So I requested another one. They replaced it again. This screen now has a lower refresh rate, the colors are still off, and there is a defect within some of pixels as if its dented in some way from an impact. I'm done with this process... I've been very patient the whole way through. I'm still left unhappy at the end of a drawn out 3 week process. I recommend going straight to APPLE to ensure you get an original screen done correctly the first time. read more

I was very impressed with the service I received at this store. I had an issue with making phone calls. The only way I could hear was if I had my headphones in. If I tried to put it on speaker or up to my ear I couldn't hear anything. I went to 3 different stores and all them said "get a new phone". I came here and Nora knew exactly what was wrong with it. Informed me what needs to be fixed and she answered all my questions. Now I have my phone back working good as new! She saved me from buying another phone. I brought my mom's brand-new(never been turned on) Amazon Fire 8 Tablet. Being as accident prone as we are, a screen protector was necessary. I did not trust myself to apply it correctly and have always had a store apply it for me(Staples for my iPhone & Best Buy for my iPad). The only place I could find a screen protector was Amazon(shocking I know). Those other places will only apply screen protectors if they sell them. I thought that I was SOL. I thought that if iFix Screens fixes screens, then surely they can apply a protector. If I was going to have them provide the screen protector it would be $35. That seemed a little expensive, so I enquired about the price if I provided my own protector. Their online customer service told me there 'may or may not be a service fee'. That was frustratingly vague. I figured if they weren't providing the screen protector, it had to be cheaper. So I brought it in and hoped for the best. When I arrived the place was empty but a woman came to the front within less than a minute of my arrival. I showed her the tablet and the screen protector and she took them and went into the back. When she returned the tablet had a practically perfect screen protector(much better than I could have ever done). To my surprise, there was no fee. Best Buy charged over $8 to put a screen protector on my FitBit Blaze! For now on, I will be using iFix Screens for my screen protector needs. read more

Let me start off by saying I have been in here tree times in the last month and a half. The first time I broke my screen, the repair was poorly done. The second time the touchscreen stopped working, I went back. Again, the third time the screen cracked again on it's OWN just by clicking on it, they refused to exchange it free of charge even under the 180 day warranty. I paid all the other two times but refused to pay a third. While I was in there another customer came in complaing about her touchscreen that wasn't working also. The guy behing the counter was sarcastic and rude. What a scam. Don't use them. Poorly done job, aweful customer service. read more

The owner seems very nice even though they did not have the screen I needed the first time I came in but were able to have it a few days later. After it was replaced by the very nice man I noticed the next day that the colors on the phone were very light so I returned to have the screen replaced again. I noticed after it was replaced that the home button on the iPhone wasn't flush but I did not want to go back to the store again. About two months later the top of the phone developed a thin crack without ever dropping it and when I went back they would not replace the screen under warranty. I was told that the warranty only covers the touchscreen not working but no physical damage. They claim to use OEM screen replacements but I believe that's highly questionable considering I've never broken the screen prior to this phone. The woman at the desk clearly was not emphasizing customer support when I returned and without question I would not be returning or recommending this location to anyone else. Hopefully they see this comment and realize that customer support is what is driving major businesses these days and they should follow the same model that Amazon uses and think about the big picture and not trying to save what is literally a few dollars. read more

If you're interested in being scammed by what I can only imagine is a father/daughter duo then sure have your phone fixed here. I had the cracked glass on my phone replaced in October. Nora told me there was a 180 day warranty and stated that it would cover the screen if it were to crack again, but not water damage. I dropped my phone in December and the screen cracked again. I scheduled an appointment for 11 am on a Sunday morning and a man shows up at 11:20 to open the store. The store opens at 11 on Sunday's. I don't know about you but it's pretty rude to show up to work 20 mins late, but I was polite and said nothing about him wasting my time. I mentioned the warranty and he told be he would change the screen for $155 . I said ok but Nora told me the warranty would cover the glass in the 180 day time period. Then, he launched into what I can only imagine is a pre planned skit him and Nora have for when they pull this BS on customers. He calls Nora and of course she says she never said that (she did) but the little skit on the phone is just a way to scam people when they question the warranty. Then he asked how much I paid the last time and I said 163.80 and he told me no you probably paid $175-185. Funny how he thought he knows more about my bank account than I do because I had the email receipt and my bank statement. Again, this is all a way to scam people out of more money and make $155 seem like a deal. For anyone thinking of coming here just realize that the warranty is complete BS they advertise it on the website and in emails, and if you have to hide the convoluted warranty multiple paragraphs down in your terms of service, then you're looking to scam people. read more

My family has been going here for years and the young lady, Nora was always professional. Now my wife had her screen replaced last month , after one month the screen went dead black! We brought it back, the father was very hesitant from the start to honor his warranty. After leaving it with him for hours we came back to a phone that was opened up yet he tried to show me that the inside was cracked by putting it up to the sun light and looking through the glass. This does not make sense to open it up only to say that you can look through the glass to see the inside is cracked. He claimed that we must of dropped it however we did not. Furthermore I have dropped my phones many times without the inside of an LCD ever imploding. So he found a reason not to honor his warranty because he is a greedy. The real reason is it was a cheap $25.00 aftermarket part that went dead, the father cared more about a couple of dollars rather then being an ethical businessman. All in all I have $250.00 in this place fixing this screen. You might of made an extra $85.00 but you lost a long time customer ,hopefully others will avoid this place also. In addition he refused to give me the written receipt, this is the way to avoid proof of warranty and services rendered. Hey it seems like a few others had the same problem with this man. read more
