I am not a very computer literate person by any means and last week my computer finally just decided to give up on me and go to "computer heaven" lol. I was very upset because I had no way monetarily to get another computer or pay big bucks to get mine fixed. My mom has been using Archdale Affordable Computers for years and suggested that I give them a try.. "If anybody can fix it, Brian can and he won't rip you off " is what my mom said to me. I figure "what the hey?!, if it costs too much I'll just tell him to chunk it and I'll go without a computer for a while" BUMMER! So I had her drop it off to him on her way to work the next day. Well, I get a call the same day and the owner, Brian, told me that I had damaged my Windows program and he would have to set it back to factory default. OMG, all I heard was " blah, blah, factory default, blah, blah, damaged Windows, blah, blah " in my mind my computer had went to where electronics go to die and that was the end of it. I found the courage to ask "how much?' and he simply said "60 bucks and you can pick it up as early as this afternoon." At first I didn't think I had heard him right so I asked him to repeat that and again he said "60 bucks and you can pick it up as early as this afternoon." I was thrilled, relieved and confused all at once and was grateful that I didn't have to plan a funeral for my ancient, overused and pitiful desktop. After I picked it up, brought it home and turned it on I realized that he had installed Microsoft Edge on my computer instead (I'm guessing to substitute my Windows that I had damaged) and I was really confused because it looked Greek to me and I freaked out. "This isn't wtf was on here when I dropped it off, omg how do I even begin to navigate myself around this foreign program?" I called Brian right away and he walked me through every single step I needed to take and every single thing I did not comprehend (which was quite a lot and so he spent about 15/20 min on the phone w me," after it was all said and done I begin to notice that I liked Edge even better than Windows. He was so patient and understanding towards me being the layman that I am when it comes to anything you have to plug into the wall. If you ever need work done on your computer, laptops, tablets, notebooks and more I strongly suggest that you give Brian a call at Archdale Affordable Computers he is superb at what he does, he is fast, and more importantly he is honest (he could have told me anything and I would have believed him because I did not know any better, he could have charged me hundreds of dollars and I would have paid it being never the wiser.)
