Living with lupus and sjogrens has been difficult, and it meant so much to have a doctor who listened, instead of making me feel like I just had to live with the pain. For the first time in a long time, I felt heard and validated. I'm just starting my medication, but for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. Loren, the TMS tech, was fantastic. Madonna, a nurse, was fantastic. Dr. Ananth gave me two referrals that I was very desperate for, and I greatly appreciate that! They were referrals for treatments that they do not do in that office and are pretty extreme. He said he wanted me to exhaust all other options before giving me referrals to those two treatments. I did exhaust all other options, so he did finally give me those two referrals. Again, I'm very grateful to him for doing that because I don't think I would've been able to pursue those treatments without his referral or a referral by another psychiatrist. One thing that bothers me a lot, though, is that, instead of being offered Spravato, which is covered by my insurance, I could only do IV ketamine there. I don't know why they didn't offer Sp I experienced zero effect until my sixth treatment. Cash pay at that time for me was extremely expensive (about $600 per session). So, the first $3000 worth of IV Ketamine treatment was completely ineffective for me.

We started going here last year because the person I…read moreinitially spoke with (Lorena) and my kid's previous therapist (Ciara) were both very warm and helpful. THEY HAVE SINCE LEFT AND THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE NOW ARE THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! Disorganized is an understatement. They had no other OTs in the entire clinic and could not find a replacement from November through late February. They offered us no other option for receiving services during this time, and kept stringing us along saying that another therapist will be there then cancelling on us at the last minute week after week. Even now it's almost April and they STILL only have one occupational therapist to handle "so many kids" who they can't fit into the schedule but will apparently try to charge money for anyway. The most recent OT hire is named Caitlyn. We saw her for two sessions last month--this is after my kid was put on pause because they didn't have any therapists available at all. In these sessions she didn't really interact with my kid. Part of our OT services include feeding therapy and the food container we brought wasn't even opened by the therapist at all. She could have easily communicated her plan to do this with a quick text beforehand knowing that the meal prep of bringing a combination of preferred versus non-preferred foods for every session takes time and effort. The following sessions after that were cancelled AGAIN because shortly after starting there the new hire went on a long vacation (which again was not communicated to me while I was there in person) then she called off sick prolonging her return back from vacation. Of course she shouldn't come in if she's truly sick but the way everything unfolded is questionable. They also did NOT offer any virtual alternatives. We tried to schedule a makeup with Caitlyn but she made it extremely difficult by suddenly removing available time windows, having a passive aggressive tone, and generally taking forever to respond--four days in between texts and two weeks since my request to be exact--which she only finally did because my kid had a scheduled session that day. Her long awaited response was disappointing and pointless as she just told me to redirect my questions to people that I do not know with no further info. I asked her to clarify and she never answered that either. My kid's session that day (after Caitlyn cancelled all other sessions this month) was very uncomfortable. Caitlyn also kept forgetting paperwork for every session that my kid was there. The makeup remained unscheduled and when I called the clinic about her regular session time, I was only met with more attitude. We were fed up with the clinic cancelling sessions at this point, especially since we had never once cancelled from our end. On the phone I spoke with the "Director of Operations" who introduced herself as both Monica and Monique. Monica/Monique was very dismissive, defensive, and condescending to me. She speaks very passive aggressively too. She said that we are lucky that they kept a spot open for us while they transitioned to a new therapist. In hindsight I wish we would not have been so understanding and patient while waiting for them. We should have left the clinic when the good therapist did! Monica also trash talked the therapist from last year. When I said that we weren't comfortable proceeding with the new therapist this week, she was quick to tell me that we shouldn't return and to find my kid's OT services elsewhere, as if it was only her choice not mine. We were told that they needed clients when we were first referred here but I can see why others would leave with this type of behavior. They don't have a big online presence so maybe that's how they've gotten away with it so far but I want to leave a review because I wish I knew all of this before we wasted all this time and energy here. Monica/Monique also said that my kid's authorization expired at some point after November while they were looking for a replacement, despite making me believe that my kid was covered this whole time--I asked before her previous therapist left and after. They also told me that they submitted a progress report last week which doesn't make sense given that they've barely scheduled us in since last year. They NEVER told tell me there was any evaluation taking place! When I asked for more information she refused and said this isn't something that they talk to parents about. They are so unethical and shady so be careful! Also note that unlike other clinics, this one has you directly text the therapist and there is usually nobody available at the front desk to check you in. If there was somebody, we were just ignored. Other clinics actually greet you, treat you with respect, and appreciate your business so please take it elsewhere.

Clear treatment To start I went to a center close to my…read morehouse but it was unorganized, poor communication, and I didn't last a day. I spoke with my insurance and therapist to find a place that wasn't so AA heavy. They recommended Clear Treatment Center. It was an hour drive from my house but I was willing if it was the right place. When I emailed Clear a representative reached out quickly. I was really straight forward with what I wanted from a program and they were just a direct as me! I completed 3 months of PHP/IOP treatment for alcohol, that sounds like a long time but once you start doing the work it fly's quick. The center is welcoming, clean, and organized. After my first week it was getting tough! Jason, Christine, and Jamie helped me see all the reasons why not to quit! The staff is very understanding of everyone's situations and only want what's best for every client. The entire staff works well with each other and they all have their own strengths. Jason was my therapist. Trust me when I say I gave him a hell of a hard time at first. This guy never gave up on me and got me to figure out some things about myself I would have never done alone. Clemmy was my case manager and if your rough around the edges and need someone to help tell you straight but make you feel motivated after ever conversation that's my girl! Jamie heard me when I was needing to go back to work and needed to change my schedule. That's one of the most stressful things when you have to work and continue treatment but she always found a way to work with me and find a way! Thank you! Christine is really good at communicating and somehow gets you to understand how to vulnerable with yourself and trust. I still can't I trust people now. Thank I can't say enough about the staff and the vibe. Everyone is always ready to help and easy to talk to. The hardest thing is showing up and giving it 100% when your in a bad place. They make it easy to be yourself and work through what ever it is you need to work through. I met some really cool people and other clients going through something similar as myself im grateful to have met. I felt alone in this until I met people in the program. A very important person in my life passed away in the beginning of 2023. It was sudden and…read moretraumatic. I didn't realize I held all the grief in and avoided dealing with it properly. When I noticed some of the grief turn into anger, that was when I decided to seek professional help. I searched for therapists that specialized in grief and loss which lead me to my current therapist. For privacy reasons I will not disclose any names but they know who they are. It was important to me to find a therapist with a similar background and gave this place shot. I was provided a free 15 minute consultation that went well. It helped break the ice and answered all my concerns. I do the in person sessions twice a month and it has been life changing. I have good days, bad days and really bad days so having this service clears up a lot of things. Their office is 5 minutes away from mine and was easy to find. We tried calling Savant Care three times to make an initial consultation appointment with Dr. Sonia Parikh. Their IVR system felt very much like calling a technical support number for a small software company. When I finally spoke to someone, it was quite obvious that their appointment and front office phone numbers are routed to some offshore personal assistant service in India. They will provide some American names, like Richard or BG, but you can immediate tell those are not their real names. Anyway, this guy sent us to their website, www.savantcare.com. We were prompted to create an account then we had to answer very personal and sensitive questions, but we answered them nonetheless. We did not receive any confirmation e-mail or anything to indicate when they'd get back to us and if the doctor will even see my wife. I finally called back after two days after not receiving any acknowledgement or call back. Another Indian guy told us in a tone like an offshore technical support representative, "You did not meet the matching (or selection) criteria" or something to that effect, therefore you will not be able to see Dr. Parikh." There was absolutely no kindness, no compassion and no empathy. It felt like we were calling to apply for a loan and that we didn't get approved for it. On their website, they claim to care a lot about their patients with "testimonials" from their existing patients. They even have these exact words on their website, "We are on a mission to change mental health care. Your feedback is very important to us. One of us will read and respond to your message personally. If for some reason you are not happy with our clinic and would like to be discharged and get the clinic fees refunded just say so." How can they claim to be on a mission to change mental health care if their office flatly tells you that one of the founding doctors, Dr. Parikh, won't see you because you did not meet some unknown criteria that a guy in India cannot explain what that criteria even means. But he was very quick to ask for my credit card for my co-pay even when I am just trying to make an appointment. I have absolutely nothing against offshore Indian answering services, BUT the impersonal, technical support-like experience is not reassuring especially for psychiatric treatment. Being told that my wife "did not meet some selection criteria and not eligible to see a doctor" that my insurance company referred me to is ABSOLUTELY A HORRIBLE WAY to treat potential patients.

Was there about a year and seemed like once I started feeling better they still wanted to schedule me monthly. I was never on any benzos so honestly I'd avoid this office. Feels like they want to generate multiple office visits more than needed. Went back to my general practitioner. They also try really hard to push that TMS treatment after I denied it multiple times . More money for them to push that. Office staff is the reason people leave this place.
