If anything happens down the line, I'm certain that the folks at the store will still remember me and be plenty willing to help me out, which isn't the always the case everywhere you shop. We are under an annual service contract where they come 2x's per year. Technicians and electricians are courteous and professional and don't pressure you to perform extra services. And one advantage to having a service contract is that in an emergency you get priority treatment. We have had one AC emergency in five years and received a repair within 24 hours. We also contracted with Pezz to install a whole house humidifier, a whole house surge suppressor, several lighting fixtures and exhaust fans and they replaced all of our interior switches and receptacles in our 30 year old house.
