Waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, cali melt, fries, mozzarella sticks, apple sauce. Our server Chloe was super sweet and very attentive. The eaters had lemon on them. Poor service, slow inattentive waitstaff and management. Waited over an hour for food, which consisted of a hamburger, fried fish, fried shrimp and some chicken fingers, which were all served cold. I had a coupon which the waitress took into the back and then proceeded to tell me that my total was now $65, never showed me a receipt, never showed me what the total was BEFORE she took the 20% off. Could've been MUCH better. We were seated pretty quickly at a table with the sun shining in our eyes, although there were many other tables available, since it wasn't a "meal time". They were fairly fast in taking our order and getting it to us. I ordered the Belgian Waffle. The waffle was over-done and the butter was COLD. It was very difficult to "spread" on the waffle. When I complained to the wait staff that the butter needed to be softer, I was summarily told that "it's real butter, so we have to serve it that way". This is the ONLY place I've ever eaten where the butter cannot be spread, even other IHOPs. I pity anyone foolish enough to order the pancakes. That real butter would tear them up completely. Though, while my server was excellent, hearing the store manager screaming at his employees about their 'incompetence' and how he was going to 'write every one of you idiots up,' was highly unbecoming of the IHOP style. When I inquired about his demeanor, I was informed by multiple staff that he behaves like this regularly, and that it is common for him to verbally abuse his staff. I do not believe such behavior should be allowed in an establishment that thrives off of customer service. His behavior truly made my overall experience to be quite lacking. The past 3 times we have gone here it's been awful. Shame on us for going back but last night is without any doubt the last time we will go here. They were short staffed, as they have been the last 3 times in the past year. But last night our food not only took forever but it was COLD. The waitress informed us they only had one cook and only one working waffle iron. iHOP listen up-- you need to get a grip on this location. What is wrong that they can't keep a full staff? We came here on a Thursday morning and maybe six other tables were full. It was slow. It STILL took them ten minutes to realize we were there. I have been a regular customer here for several years. I am truly disappointed in how far the level of service has fallen. I went in this morning and was quickly seated. There were not very many customers. After being seated and waiting several minutes ( at least 15 bc i set my stop watch after setting for several minutes already) no one ever waited on us, said they would be right with us or even acknowledged us. Our waitress was slow. We ordered coffee, the waitress had to brew a new pot, which is fine had she informed us instead of letting us sit for 15mins waiting wondering where the coffee was. My mother in law and I both ordered the turkey, bacon, avocado melt (Cali). We received our meals and started to eat them realizing there was no avocado on either sandwich. We waited again another 15mins as my mother and law had to get up and grab here own ketchup, I had to hunt down another employee to get hot sauce. Still no waitress. I finally asked the janitor to grab the waitress. She came out finally I told her about the avocado, she got snoody and said "That's because we have no avocado" I asked her if we had to still pay the same price granted there was no avocado. The restaurant was not busy and didn't get a refill for about 45 mins or any service check ins food arrived to the table as we left for such bad service. Ate breakfast here on 10/25. Place was not very busy, waitress took our order, didn't see her again until 10 minutes after someone else brought food. We asked for ketchup etc from the food runner, Never received it. After our waitress came back we asked again, she said " She was just to busy" then as she walked away a lady across from us informed us that she called my wife a b*tch. We asked for a manager, he evidently sent another waitress, we told her what happened, she informed us the manager sent her, she apologized. Fourth time's a charm. Since their grand opening I have made four visits, somewhat equally spread out. They have improved GREATLY. My first two visit would have net a two-star review. Service, food taste, crumbs on the floor. The third visit was better, but the waitstaff was not very professional, overly made up and perfumed. This visit was great. Extremely clean floor, table and seating area. We were seated in a booth in the middle. The waitress seem very professional and was patient to give us more time with the menu, but had the coffee and my double hot chocolate on the table fast. My husband reported that the coffee was good (he pouts about the Greenbrier changing their coffee, so this is not something he makes idyll remarks about). The hot chocolate was average. I went with the strawberry banana danish crepe and bacon. I give the taste a B+ and presentation a B+. The bacon was a sad little plate with two crispy strips sliding around on it. Taste: A- . Presentation D. How do you make make bacon look good on a plate? Who really cares. It's bacon and let's face it it doesn't stay on the plate for too long anyway. My husband had the ultimate bacon and sausage combo. Pancakes taste: A The past three times I have been there I noticed someone always sweeping the floor with a little portable broom 'bissell' type machine. Not this time. Which was a good thing. Everything looked really tidy and clean. Even the syrup dispensers were nicely labeled and un-drippy. I was happy to notice that our booth did not have the quaint little "interrogation" lamp directly overhead that so many of these AppleBee inspired restaurants seem to have. The window seats had them, but they are positioned up high enough so you don't feel confessional. I also made a trip through the bathroom before leaving and it was clean. read more

food was not hot, I usually like IHOP but this one the food would have been good if it was hot! it was just warm! the coffee would have been good if it was hot! It was cold in the restaurant I had to keep my jacket on, it was 27 degrees out side and the inner doors were blocked in the opened position so every time a person walked in the cold air would blast in, all the waitresses were wearing sweaters. IHOP is pretty good. It's like a bit better than Denny's. I'm not saying it's terrific or anything better than what you can make at home but they do have crazy good pancakes. We went here as our Thanksgiving dinner... We were not disappointed! They offered a turkey special, which we both opted out of. Instead, we were not met by waitresses complaining about the holiday, they were very optimistic and happy despite having to work today! That was a plus. This is the WORST Ihop i have ever been to. The cooks which are super young. Didn't seem to care about the food they were cooking. Completely nasty food. Undercooked. I got a chicken sandwich, waited 10 min because it was the wrong one they brought me. All they did was put bacon on it and call it good. Cold sandwich, cold bread. Absolutely disappointed. The manager Didnt care or want to talk with me. All she did was take 25% off of the sandwich alone. So no compensation. Not even a new sandwich was made.
