And the management team seem to be doing a very good job. The food was amazing, I ordered veg. Omelet with pancakes. But just got the omelet with no side. The food was good as always. It was exactly what you expect from Ihop. Except the strawberries for my pancakes were cold and partly frozen. Plus the "warm" syrup was near a boiling point of hot. However I attribute these things to the server and not the kitchen. The three of us, my daughter, aunt and myself had HORRIBLE SERVICE. Yes i said horrible. We were seated promptly to a sticky table. It took for ever for the server to come and even longer for her to return and wipe down the table. Well everything she did took all evening although she told us that "your food will be out quickly because no one is really here tonight eating. " she was right the food was the only quick element there because she was slow. I had a ROACH baked golden brown in my freaking pancakes. I spent 85 dollars on pancakes with roaches in two of them. This use to be a place where I use to take my kids to when they were smaller. I went just recently . The place had an odor same as the Applebee's in the gateway mall of rodents have a home there. Against my better judgment I decided to have pancakes, turkey bacon and coffee. My pancakes were under cooked and the hot coffee sucked. Cheap coffee. The turkey bacon was fine . My waiter was very nice and the manage was nice too. They just need a makeover. Kitchen staff need to know how to cook simple food as well. So sad this place is not the same. read more

I don't know how this restaurant has good reviews. They add water to their syrups and I don't understand how a business thinks that water on a waffle/pancake even goes unnoticed. My butter Pecan syrup was watered down and I even took a video of it. I am so disappointed in iHop. I got the chicken and waffles and my chicken was so hard like it was made 2 days ago and then reheated T_T. So sad because I always loved iHop. I have came here a few times already and I must say every time I come it's a great experience. In this area a lot of the food spots the customer service is lacking but not at this establishment. The staff are always welcoming and very nice. They also move quickly even when it is busy they get you seated in a reasonable amount of time. I have not had any issues with my food either. I visited IHOP Restaurant #2064 located in Brooklyn, NY on June 28th, 2022. Around 8:00 AM, Check/Receipt #1643. I ordered Coffee with the intention of getting another cup to share with my friend since I usually don't drink the whole carafe. The server brought the coffee with an extra cup which I thought was great until I received the bill which charged me $4.75+ twice for the coffee. I told the server that I alone ordered the coffee and was told that the coffee is charge by the amount of cups brought to the table. I said I ordered the coffee you brought the extra cup, how would I know that if the cup is used that I would be charged for another cup of coffee. She then called the manger(s) who said you have to pay for the coffee or I will CALL THE POLICE!!! I said go ahead and call them, I'm not paying for two cups of coffee. After 10 minutes my friend was disgusted and paid the bill with me mildly protesting, but I understood wasting time. That was the worst customer service/relations action that I have seen. Excellent first experience at this IHOP. My family and I went on a Saturday for brunch. There was about a 20 minute wait so very busy. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, very pleasant reception staff, and good service. The food we ordered was also good. Absolutely no complaints about our experience. I went with my boyfriend on a random Sunday morning which turned out to be Valentine's Day morning. Oops! We completely forgot and ended up waiting over a half hour for seating. I won't blame them for that delay considering the big holiday and since everyone we encountered seemed to be very friendly and welcoming considering how busy they were. My mom and I came after church and I was expecting a crazy long wait and luckily we only waited 5 minutes or less. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL, professional and friendly... Good luck dining here on a Sunday.. I understand that me and my church patrons mob this place on Sundays-- I call it the CCC takeover..and I do feel bad for everyone else. Who would of thought but this IHOP is actually very good. The food is good the service is good and the mangers are usually there keeping an eye out on things (which is always a good thing). The wait is not long at all only on SUNDAYS because the Church is right down the street. Also if you are planning to go on a Holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas EXPECT TO WAIT FOR A WHILE (Warning if you do have to wait, there are really no places to go shopping, so like everyone else all stay in there car or in the waiting area, which is actually small for some reason). If you are driving plenty of parking spaces to park your car. Side Note: This IHOP should be your first choice, instead of the IHOP that is located on Ralph Avenue. read more

Recently visited this IHOP for the first time on Free Pancake day. It was a 45 minute wait at 12pm, but that was understandable. All Ihops are mostly the same, the only difference between them is service, and this IHOP had great service. Our waitress was very attentive and every-time I saw her she was smiling.
