I went in today at about 3 pm to inquire about a job application thinking that it would've been a good place to serve. I went in and waited about 3 minutes with no one greeting me while i could hear probably 3-4 staff in the kitchen talking quite loudly and using vulgar language. I saw one table with a mother and what looked to be her 7 year old daughter that were sitting close to the kitchen and could most definitely hear this language they were using. It look 20 minutes to get to our table but it was worth the wait. 10/10 Ambiance: it feels like a nice little diner. Adequate music volume and no one was too loud. The waitress was weird and got the orders wrong. Ahe said the steak and eggs did not inxlude eggs and needed tobecorrected on the menu. We receved steak andmac and cheese. The steak was raw, she stuck her fingers in the pancakes- served on a plate so small you could not use syrup and cut it up. DO NOT GO TO THIS IHOP! This is the absolute worst IHOP or restaurant period. We were seated promptly but waited 25 min. before we asked the hostess if we had a waitress. The waitress came took our Drink order and took another 30min. Brought our drinks incorrectly then came back and left. Came back later and typed in our Food order. We waited over 45min. for our food and it was wrong and cold. Our drinking glasses smelled like eggs And coffee was cold. We never got any refills. She left the extra food with us that we didn't order, we had to repeat what we had ordered and still didn't have our orders right. Asked for refills and napkins and waitress never came back. We went to the hostess to pay for the ticket and she went to find the waitress. The bathrooms were full of poop and pee (Both men and women). The kids came out disgusted and said they couldn't go to the bathroom at all. I took my kids to the car while we waited another 15min to pay. Overall, the server was not rude and the hostess was nice but the service and food were terrible. We will never eat at that IHOP again. It was very dirty, food cold and a Very long disappointing wait. Total time there was 11:30am- 1:45pm. This place has become our go-to on our way to Fargo for shopping. My over 60 year old family love this place because of the prices and quantity of food they receive. If I can impress my family with a restaurant like IHOP, then I've won in life. If you've been to an IHOP, then you know the quality of food is by no means 5-star or Michelin. Very disappointed. I am not a person to complain but this experience drew the last straw. After a dance, me and three friends decided to drive thirty miles to IHOP to enjoy a fun outing and to get some delicious food. However, upon arrival we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. This was at 1 AM, meaning not very many people were in the restaurant. We decided to wait. 30 minutes later we were finally seated down. As we were walking to our booth, a couple told us to check our food because their food was not cooked fully. Another red flag. In those 30 minutes of waiting, we looked at the menus so we knew right away what we wanted. The waitress asked for our drinks and we told her we were also ready to order. We all ordered milkshakes. She told us that the milkshakes will be out in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later we finally got those milkshakes. They were NOT blended. Full strawberry and ice chunks. One of my friends ordered steak tips and eggs with onions on the steak but no mushrooms. Our waitress came out to ask our friend what exactly he wanted on the meat, so again he said onions on top of the steak, but no mushrooms. She said perfect because we have no mushrooms anyway. Fast forward to when we finally got our food, pancakes were cold, hash browns were not fully cooked, and my friend had a whole bunch of mushrooms with his steak. Not only did he have many mushrooms, he had 3 pieces of steak. 3 bite sized steak chunks. Being so disappointed with our food, it took us barely 10 minutes to eat and we asked for the checks. 5 minutes later we get the checks only for her to realize she didn't ring them up right. So we had to wait about another 5 minutes for her to get new checks. We see that we got charged $5 for our milkshakes, that were child sizes, not blended, and just a little bit half way filled up in the cup. I told her that I was upset that i was paying $5 for a horrible milkshake, that was not blended and just down right gross. (I barely drank any, and I absolutely love milkshakes so that's saying something) She said that it was her fault and went to see what she could do about that. After reprinting our checks again the best she could do was give us $1 off our milkshakes. That made all of us very upset. We paid for our meals, which took 10 minutes to get a few dollars of change. Also, after us having to wait 30 minutes to be seated, everyone after us were seated as soon as the entered the restaurant. I have never given a place a bad review, but I am appalled by how rude the guy working was. I understand that it's late, But IHOP is a 24 hour restaurant. My husband ran in to get an order of pancakes to go and the guy working through a tantrum and literally said they were going to stock and clean before they made our food so it's going to be a long time before we would get it. My husband was taken off guard and asked if they were not open 24 hours and the guy said they were and then tried to get his order, but with his attitude I'm sure he would have spit in it. Thank god Denny's is across the street and happy to make some money. I don't know how that guy has a job in customer service. I see why they have him working at 2am. read more

Had to wait a long time to be noticed for seating. The place was not busy either. After being seated the service was 'ok' and the food was pretty good. After the meal I could not get a waitress to notice me. I waited for 8 minutes waving my arms at every waitress I saw. Finally followed them into the kitchen so I could pay my bill. If I could give a negative review I would, the place is filthy, the seats are duct taped and filthy, there is a strong smell of old grease and filth throughout the building, the back of the booths were greasy and dirty from hands,DO NOT WEAR CLEAN CLOTHES. Waited at the door for almost 3 minutes, empty building, staff was very inattentive. Left and went to Denny's just down the street. Myself and two other people walked in and the hostess at the door said it would be a 5-10 minute wait. After 20 minutes, another group of people walking out, looking upset, let us know that they sat and waited for almost 45 minutes and that their meals took another 45 minutes to an hour to get. My group and about 10 other people ahead of us walked out. What we all noticed as we were talking outside was that the whole right side of the restaurant was empty and the other group that let us know about the service said there were also empty tables everywhere else. I've been to IHOP three times, all three times, had bad experiences with service. The food and menu was good, but the people i came with and I all got sick afterwards two of the three times. I wouldnt recomend this place if you don't expect to be there all day, because all three times I've been there, the waiter or waitress forgot about our table and it took almost an hour just to get drinks and get our order taken.Then, another hour for the food. The first time i was there, i ordered the southwestern style omelet. It tasted good and it was definitely enough to fill someone up. We had waited about 2 hours because our first waitress forgot about us twice and then left and didn't tell the next shift's waitress about us, so we had to get the manager to take our orders. The restaurant was busy just before we got there but still, I think the system should be more organized. After leaving, the majority of my group, including me, had bad stomach pains and nausea. The second time was better, we were only forgotten about once and the waitress apologized that time. I ordered the low fat blueberry walnut pancakes and in my opinion, they were very good. None of us,(my family and I), got sick. It was definitely better than the first time, but i think more organization would have made it an ideal experience. Yes, I returned again. At 2:00 a.m., only because the other restaurant in town that was still open was packed. I ordered the same thing as the last time and the service was fast, because we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was surprisingly good for orders made at such a weird time, but once again, My friend and I got sick again. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if it is busy, just got done being busy, if it is late at night, or if you can't handle food poisoning.
