Tried to order the strawberry splasher lemonade. Was told that managers said to not put fresh strawberries in the drink, even though it's listed on the menu. This location has had a 50/50 chance of actually having fresh fruit on any given day they've run out of blueberries and strawberries before. Seek other Ihops if you like fruit. read more

Food was left out for a straight hour before they even considered to bag food up and send deliveries out the door waited 4 hours containing 4 items only for 2 customers. Employees swearing in distraught because of overwhelming work employees waiting around watching other employees work hostile work environment employee to employee. HORRIBLE! Oh my god this is hands down the worst restaurant my family has ever been to. First it takes forever to get our drinks because the entire staff looks 13. Second, three of the five of us get pancakes and the waiter never brought syrup. I literally stole the syrup from another table that got finished because they never brought any. Third, our waiter brings us the check when two of us haven't even gotten our food! And then he never issues an apology, it has been an hour now and the two meals still have yet to come out. I was in the mood for breakfast in the middle of the day and came here. The food was predictably good but the service was exceptional. This must be the hour when seniors come out to eat (I am one). But the waitress (Sydney?) was so patient with her customers who were pretty demanding. She responded in kindness and understanding. Rare these days. Congrats on a good hire, IHOP. read more

I'm very familiar with Ihop, the Ihop on 28th street is the type of place to run a company out of business. We walked in and due to last few experiences, were already on edge.... it appeared to be only 2 people working... The host, with has pants sagging, showing us his underwear, lead us to our table and walked away, leaving us to choose whether or not to sit down at an uncleaned table that matched the uncleaned tables n floor of the surrounding area... we looked at each other, laughed, and then left, happily, knowing that we just dodged a bullet. This is the second time I've had IHOP delivered after 2:00 a.m. . Both times the pancakes were fresh and tasty, the bacon crispy, and the sausages hot. I would have given them 5 stars but read on to find out why I didn't. What's really sad here is the quality of delivered food was so much better than the last three times I've eaten inside this IHOP, where the service was abysmally slow, pancakes obviously had been sitting around long enough to go cold, and the bacon was undercooked without any crispiness and this disgusting. This is the worst IHOP I have ever been to. The taste and quality of food was terrible. The taste of the French toast was rather unrecognizable and bitter. I don't really know how to explain it any better. Let's just say the after two bites, I was done. The service was ok since the waitress was training a couple of new employees. I'm appalled. We decided to eat at our local IHOP because it was closed for a while due to COVID. We just left the restaurant because 1/2 the wait staff and people in the kitchen weren't wearing theirs masks or wearing them below the nose. It's a state mandate. I approached the manager and he said, "it gets hot." He didn't care they were breaking the law or people's health could be at risk. As he said this and started noticing the amount of his employees not wearing the mask correctly, there was 5 people rubbing their faces and preparing food around him. DO NOT EAT here until after they learn to do things correctly or Thai pandemic is over. This is sad, because they were the best IHOP oven been too. read more

Meh is all I can say. Very busy for an overpriced breakfast. I got 3 pancakes (much smaller than the photo in the menu) a side of ham and coffee. 11.99 +tip. The side of ham was 2.99 and was literally smaller than my cell phone and I have a i6. It was basic taste and cooked to order. The most impressive thing was that the bathroom was clean. What do you say about a chain based on an empire of pancakes? I usually just say a lot of "Thank you's". There is no "usual" for me. I want to try it all! As my husband and I started to leave, I saw a pile of chocolate pancakes come out by our waitress for another guest . I now have an order of those ToGo in my vehicle. Sometimes the menu does the product no justice. Anyway, they have a partnership with Uber now, so it's impossible to get pancakes 24/7. Just duck if the driver pulls out a bottle of maple syrup to throw at you. read more

It's IHOP... same food at all the places all over the states...or well internationally ;) Gluten free pancakes are super yummy!! Excited to try the waffles next! My kids liked their kids pancakes... but they were very chocolatly! Service for us was very very very slow. We had 6 in our party and sat down first in our section. Everyone around us got their food first. The people of 2, understand smaller party but the party of 8 that arrived way later than us, party of 4 and then eveyone around us. It took an hour... we didn't realize it until it was too late. Got up to leave and the food started to show up at our table. They did take $9 off our food. My parents eat there evey other Sunday and haven't had the trouble and no one around us did either so a possible fluke. There were no left overs and eveyone liked the food. Coffee and juice were watery... but it's IHOP can't expect high quality coffee and juice. Eggs were good and we raise chickens so that's saying a lot. read more

Came at 10 am on a weekday. Greeted and seated promptly. The location appears used evident by the repairs made to the seat cushions. But things were clean, even the restroom was good. My wife and I had dinner there ... or we hoped to have it there. The wait was over 30 minutes in a restaurant with only three tables filled. Then my food was cold and my wife's was prepared wrong. The server and manager seemed to have cared less about our dissatisfaction. In fact, I would be surprised if any employee cares about any review on Yelp. Whoever the owner is must not read these reviews either. IHOP is sketchy nationwide; however, never do we intend to frequent this location on 28th Street again. Horrible is all I can say. This IHOP would have gotten all full stars except Bianca, one of the wait staff, was rude and disrespectful to our waitress and the young man busting tables. She was loud and said things like, 'Oh, you got to talk to her about that (eye roll), 'You are so lazy', 'I'd like you more, but you can't do this right'. When customers came in, Bianca was a bit better. Outside of the distasteful behavior of the staff member, the food was good and hot, the restaurant was clean, and our waitress, Ahmya, was fantastic!
