    Spinach Benedict- half order
    Lulu T.

Wolfgang's never disappoint. My husband and I eat here every time we're in the area for work. The restaurant is so consistently good and everything on the menu seems truly homemade. I got the Spinach Benedict and it was incredible. The English muffin was buttery and hollandaise was light and tangy. I got the half order and it was the perfect amount of food for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The serves is really accommodating and while its usually very busy the space isn't too loud, since there are so many booths and rooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would absolutely recommend anyone checking it out. Head in before 9:30am to avoid a huge line.

I really enjoy Wolfgang! It's probably the closest thing to an old-school diner that I know of in Grand Rapids. The food is decently priced for the portions you get. And it comes out pretty timely. However, I will say there's always a weight and you can't put your name down unless if you're actually there, so plan for that. Last time I went, my friends, and I got a huge spread of eggs, breakfast burrito, a hash, biscuits and gravy, and French toast. I think my favorite thing was the biscuits and gravy because it wasn't too salty, but it was perfectly savory and the biscuit was actually not dry.

Nice local eatery. Went in on a Monday morning, no wait. Be prepared for a long wait on the weekend. I had the hazelnut coffee and a breakfast burrito. I like the prices are relatively low compared with the trendy new spots. My meal was 15.00 for coffee extra sour cream and the breakfast burrito. Good value in my mind.

Weekday work brunch with arrival around 11 on a Tuesday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was busy, but there were plenty of tables available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted and seated immediately. The hazelnut coffee here is some of my favorite! And, I just had to try the Mahoney Cakes just due to the name. Overall they were decent with huge portions. Personally the cakes were done perfectly, but the inside filling wasn't sweet enough for me (my fault for ordering based on my name ). I'm sure we will visit again, as I've dined here three times despite not living in the city and had great service and good quality food for a good price every time.

Two Eggs, Meat & Potatoes Breakfast - they serve 3 eggs

Just as good as I remembered! It's probably been 10 years since I last visited and it's still a wonderful breakfast choice! We arrive around 9am on a Friday morning and were quickly seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables in the side dinning area near the kitchen is cozy (would be tight with 4 people).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Choose the Hazelnut coffee - fresh and wonderful! Ordered 2 eggs and served 3, very crispy delicious hashbrowns with onions - spectacular! Bacon was just okay. Grateful the server double checked my toast then brought an order dry (they use butter - I have an allergy). Husband enjoyed his scrambled eggs and was thrilled with the Polish sausage! Started our day off spectacular. We will be back!

SOOOO yummy and a classic American brunch spot. Homey and cozy vibes. Prices are very reasonable! Their menu is huge! The sweet plate we ordered allowed us to do a half portion which I thought was really considerate! The Keane skillet is my favorite if you are a corned beef hash girly There is ALWAYS a wait bc it is that good. Try to go earlier if you can but for example on a Sunday at 10am it was a 50 minute wait. My go to spot for brunch that makes me so happy :)

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Every time I try something new to eat and it is so good. I always love to get a cafe wolfgangs when I go.

Half order Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, Breakfast Quesadilla

Service was great! It was our first time visiting and she was patient and helped us with choosing what we ordered. Drinks- coffee was "eh" according to others. A lot of tea options with honey and lemon packets available as well. Biscuits and gravy- really good flavor to the gravy. The biscuit was really buttery and not dry at all. Breakfast quesadilla- loved this. The salsa is sooo good, not spicy. It is a THICK quesadilla. Blue crab Benedict- comes with egg whites mixed into the blue crab mixture and the person that ordered this really enjoyed it. They also got crispy hash browns with grilled onion. Necessary if you like crispy potatoes. There was an option to do diced potato too. This was an add on. Ron's skillet- loved the cinnamon bread. Skillet was rated 3/5- slightly greasy and not crispy potatoes. They got a side of hollandaise and didn't feel it was great. Overall a great price for the meal and we would visit again.

I didn't write down the name of my meall, But here's what I look like ... it sure was layered with flavor.

Does their phone number normally work? I got an automatic voice message saying the call couldn't be completed the last 3x I called (during business hours)...?

They answer the phone for take out; except when they are closed.

Do they have gluten free options- (I tried to call but got a message about it being the wrong mailbox)?

I did notice some gluten-free meal options

It's a cozy little space on Michigan Street with takeout, pick-up and dine-in options. The food is great and the service has always been very friendly. I've sampled multiple menu items and have not had a bad one yet. While the French Dip and Italian Bomber are good, I have been gravitating towards their burgers, which are exceptional. My boys and I have tried over 40 places for burgers in the GR area, and this is one of our very favorites. The Pickle Poppers and Truffle Fries are tasty sides and the 'Pickle Dippin' Sauce' is quite addictive.

And by god, was I impressed. It's a small little sandwich shop off of Michigan Ave that has seating for maaaybe 20 people. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich to go, and when I got home to open my box, my jaw dropped. These guys put not one, but TWO mf chicken breast cutlets on this poor, poor bun. Topped with delicious house made pickles (their namesake), a fresh and tangly slaw, and a spicy oily sauce, this thing was a behemoth. And for, like, $15?? This is two meals for the average person. My only complaint was that the bun simply could not shoulder the monstrous burden of what it contained. Additionally, dude the fries are phenomenal. And they absolutely LOAD you up. Get the truffle upcharge, it's worth it I promise. I have been a Two Beards fan for the better part of the past 15 years, but man, in terms of value, The Toasted Pickle takes the cake. I can't wait to experience whatever else these guys are whipping up behind the counter.

I recently tried their new summer menu and while the picnic burger was delicious, I expected it to be a bit larger for the price (it was on a slider bun). I ordered the garage sale: white cheddar, fresh mozz, rosemary goat mousse, havarti, and swiss on challah. I also got the steak and mushroom soup and the snert soup for Nate. When I arrived my order was waiting for me - it was nicely packaged and secure so everything was safely contained for my short drive home. The sandwich wasn't very melty, I ended up heating it up in a pan myself which helped. It was super tasty, though! I love the combination of cheeses. The steak and mushroom soup was really good, with chunks of meat in a creamy broth. The snert soup was very salty! The menu description indicated the snert soup should have sausage or kielbasa in it, but we didn't notice any. The restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating, but I'd probably just order there next time. You can also get samples.

They even have their own canned root beer. How cool is that. Unfortunately it was a little too sweet with maple syrup/molasses taste for me (to be fair the waitress forewarned me about the fair. When I walked in, the place was packed. It's a small space, and it was bustling around 1 pm. I was noticed by a kind employee who let me sit at a cozy booth. The menu is huge and includes tons of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and salads. It was tough to choose but I went with the Irish reuben (grilled pastrami, corned beef, bacon, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, thousand island on marble rye). Sandwiches come with chips, or you can upgrade to fries (regular, sweet potato, or Southwestern dipping fries) - I went with the Southwestern dipping fries, which are seasoned potato wedges. My food came out quickly and I was amazed at the large portions. It was a full basket of fries and a sandwich that would equal two full sandwiches elsewhere. The sandwich was super hot and delicious and packed with meat. I think it's one of the tastiest reubens I've had in awhile. The fries were good, but I think I prefer regular fries. Glad I got to try them, though. They have a daily special where a specific item is discounted, which makes it an affordable option for lunch. I was there on a Tuesday so the special was a spicy fried chicken sandwich or wrap for $12 served with chips or fries. That's a great deal! I will definitely be back for one of their specials. The employees I interacted with were all very friendly and kind and working really hard. I always appreciate good customer service and I found that here. Finally, they serve beer and wine, so if you want a drink with lunch, that is an option as well. The only downside is the small dining area, so I wouldn't say it's great for large groups, and they are only open Monday through Friday for lunch. Luckily I have a flexible schedule, so I'll be back for lunch again soon!
