Food and service were great had a good breakfast time but not fond of their ambiance...had the pancakes for the first time there they are actually soft ,light and melts in mouth sorts though i think blueberry would be the best , wanted to try the strawberry and chocolate chip .I am sure who likes these is going to love the them ..

IHOP should consider an upgrade to their architectural design. The restaurant has a tight compact seating arrangement with a cooking counter adjacent to the reception desk. The omelets are wonderful especially compared to the local diners. I would say that other than their famous pancakes, I would visit IHOP more often if I was planning an omelet breakfast.

What can be bad about an IHOP! Classic breakfast food and very consistent. You cannot go wrong with a stack of buttermilk pancakes any time of day and that is what I order every single time so this review is short and sweet! Staff friendly, even on free pancake day when they were mobbed and restaurant clean and syrups were well stocked! See ya there!

    Burnt & rubbery tasting crepes

The food was not good. I ordered crepes @ they burned it which made it tough to eat. The crepes had a rubbery texture. This is probably the only IHOP that I didn't enjoy the food from. I don't recommend the Huntington Station branch. They don't put enough love in cooking their food. So disappointed.

This ihop was a last minute decision because we were at the Walt Whitman and there was no where to get a quick but to eat. It was actually a surprise that there were about 5 tables being used on a Saturday at 5:30pm. The service was fine and the food came out really quickly.

Good morning friends and rise and shine. Its a bright eyed bushy tail Saturday morning. Let's all get some pancakes for breakfast. The International House of Pancakes has been around since I've been a kid. The business model is pretty much consistent throughout their different locations. I love their Bavarian Style tall peaked ceilings and Blue Roof. This restaurant is located on Old Walt Whitman Road , as historic note. It's the birthplace of Walt Whitman just a block away. The pancakes are all consistently good. Their batter contains ingredients that are a a closely guarded Secret. I love the fact that they offer a discounted Senor menu and also serve lunch and dinner. Probably one of my favorite things about the IHOP, is the different type of syrups that are available for with your fluffy pancakes. I don't know why but I've never been to this location before. I was immediately seated 8 am. early this morning there was no wait yet. The atmosphere was quiet and the morning stun streamed through the east facing windows. There were a few different menus available with seasonal specials, and their everyday items. One of the things I also like about IHOP is the endless pot of coffee that you get. You can drink as much as you want they'll just keep refilling the hot pot with a smile. Coffee pot itself is insulated keeps it nice and hot for you. Service was very courteous and quick I got the sampler platter with bacon ham sausage pancake home fries and egg. I figured I'd try a little of everything. I noticed that the restaurant was filling up quickly with Saturday morning families an early shoppers. The BIG Huntington Walt Whitman Mall is right across the street. And I'm sure that keeps this place busy. I enjoyed my breakfast here very much it came to me hot and fresh and it was at a great price point. Felt like a kid again, I loved the family atmosphere of the Pancake House on Saturday morning. As a note it would be really nice if the ownership got those paper placemats so I don't have to eat on the bare table and the morning newspaper would be nice, as it is provided at most other IHOP's. Month of October is All-U-Can-Eat Pancakes.. It's not humanly possible to order more after you're meal- these are huge portions to begin with!! The veggie egg white omelette is always hot and damn good w a splash of Tabasco sauce and I can't complain about their hot coffee they leave for you on the table in the carafe this way you don't have to wait around to ask for a 2nd cup!! Service is pretty prompt and I've never ran into a horrible server! This def satisfies the pancake hunger that the diners can't do! Enjoy!!

I don't usually eat much breakfast so I thought this place was just mediocre, our waitress was really good in getting our order without writing anything g down. The food came out pretty fast and hot but it was nothing special. Overall more expensive then I expected for breakfast but a good morning starter.

Food is not good, way to greasy for my taste, first and last time here

There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.

I drove around for a bit and found a spot across the street from The Shed, so I popped in for dinner. Service is excellent and the menu is extensive. Love that they serve breakfast all day (and some of the choices look insanely good). Plenty of healthy options as well, so I stuck to a warm grain bowl with veggies and grilled chicken. Absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. It was VERY busy and my only complaint was the guy sitting at the table next to me. He was wicked annoying since all he did was complain about everything (like how much he hates Christmas music, how he couldn't tell if someone that walked in was a man or a woman, a constant commentary on everyone's food -including his own- and an exclamation on how I paid my bill with my phone (but i actually used my watch, dude). Anyway, this place is great. I think there's more than one location and if my little salad and iced tea (which was refilled without even asking) are any indication of how the rest of the menu is, I'd highly recommend checking it out.

Pricing is reasonable, shop has an upstate or even Vermont feeling. Staff is kind and patient. Polite. Lemme talk about the food for a second. Got the Feeling Tot burrito. Subbed cheddar for smoke Gouda and added bacon. HOLY HELL. This burrito brought up emotions I haven't felt for a breakfast in centuries. Warm and melty, it wasn't like any of these greasy, wet, fat covered offerings from other delis or breakfast shops around the island. Or that I've had in NY in general. They chopped the bacon, which let's be serious here, is the only way to do it. Eggs were fluffy, light. Cheese was nothing short of smoked magnificence. But the pièce de résistance, the glue that brings your taste buds to their knees, the tots. If you don't like tots, you're wrong. And these tots were somehow crispy and soft. No oil, no sog. The chipotle sauce brings it all home and then they grill the whole damn thing and serve it to you on a platter of gold and diamonds. At least that's how it felt. Do I recommend this? Uh duhhhhhh. 5 stars. All day.
