Conveniently located on the Ave, which is by I-95. Stopped by for breakfast. Great ginger and honey drinks.

I've been to another location up in Rye and loved their menu instantly. This location has been my go-to for quick lunches. It's somewhat reasonably priced- but not on the cheap end either. Meal selections are nice- satisfying almost any, food preference. Lé Pain's dishes (from what I've eaten) taste nice. Items are well cooked. For instance, I absolutely love their Vegetable Quiche- has just that...Broccoli, Spinach and a few other veggies. To add, I've ordered 'Vegetable Quiche' from other popular eateries on the Ave- only to find out at first bite- that they would add bacon to. (Called their attention on it). Design at Le Pain is very airy, country-looking and rustic. Service has always been great and atmosphere really cozy. I like Lé Pain's brand and has been a nice choice for my Lunches.

Cute little place on the Ave! I was looking for a quick meal, knock out some emails and get back on the road. Seated myself and love the communal tables! The server was super friendly and made great accommodations for my requests. The smokes avocado toast was fresh and delicious. The right size for what I was looking for. Cozy for date night or perfect for girls night out. I would also come for brunch! Everything on the menu sounds great! If I find myself in CT again I would stop in!

They also provide a convenient, light continental breakfast with fresh mini croissants and bagels. My only real complaint was the noise from above. Staying on the third floor, I could clearly hear footsteps upstairs, so the insulation isn't the best. The room layout was also a bit quirky (like two chairs weirdly facing a blank wall), but the overall cleanliness and high-tech amenities easily make this one of the top stays in the region.

The J House staff really know how to take care of you at their restaurant . We ordered chicken nuggets and pasta with butter for the little ones. Several of us ordered the lobster bisque when we heard it as the speciall soup of the day. Others ordered flat bread pizza as appetizers. For my entree I ordered Caesar salad with chicken. All different lunch items were ordered by my family. Before they brought the Lobster bisque they gave us hot plates and told us not to touch the plates. A server came out with a pot and poured the lobster bisque into the hot plates.. Wow. It was not only delicious but extremely hot the entire time while having the soup. My Caesar salad was topped with a biscuit rather than croutons and an abundance of chicken. I really enjoyed it as did my family enjoying their meals. The cappuccino was over the top. I used a spoon to scoop the creamy foam off the top. Wow again! This was the best cappuccino I ever had.Sal E. New Rochelle .

They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.

When looking at reviews online, it flooded six months ago and did not appear to have been handled. Only two out of our six room outlets worked. And they did not provide amenities to their customers. Very randomly put together furniture pieces, ants in the room (came back to see my coffee cup from breakfast swarming in ants), and no refills on the soap which still come in the little bottles. Our room didn't even come with a Do Not Disturb sign. Also our windows had dew all over them and obviously had not been cleaned for awhile so we could not get a clear view outside. Housekeeping did a great job, though, and the shower got hot and had good pressure. No racks for your towel in the bathroom, though, so we had to hang on the shower door. Our mattress was nice a medium firm, I think we had to upgrade for it but it was worth it. Front desk was okay, not very friendly. When we left, the person at the front didn't say a word to us or ask how our stay was. Parking lot was frequently full with event guests, at least it's free. But bonus was there are fireflies! As an event venue, it was nice but the wifi caused issues with the photo booth which kept having to be reset because it wouldn't connect to the printer. Also the speakeasy room was obviously not very well kept, we even were treated to a millipede or a centipede crawling on the wall behind the guests as they sat on the sofa. For the amount guests pay, I think they deserve better.

Sometimes it's really good, and other times it's like they forgot to season anything. But also now, on our most recent visit, we noticed the portions seemed to have gotten smaller. The positives are that the interior is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with high ceilings. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside, where there's even a putting green to enjoy while you wait for your food or after you're finished eating. The waitstaff has always been friendly and happy to offer recommendations. Over the years, we've tried quite a variety of their menu: pancakes, several burgers, the biscuit benedict, the Shegg sandwich, avocado toast, chicken and waffles, fried pickles, and more. So what's been inconsistent? How do you serve unseasoned ground beef? It's not pleasant. Have you ever had breakfast sausage with almost no seasoning? We have--and it was here. What about the portion sizes? Just compare my photos of the fried pickles from different visits, and they'll tell the story (the outside one was the most recent). Or if you've ordered a Bloody Mary recently, you might be wondering what happened to the mountain of slaw that used to come with it. The Shed isn't a cheap restaurant, so with the premium prices, I'd expect a lot more consistency when it comes to the food.
