It always amazes me that IHOP is still in business. I'm even more amazed after visiting this particular IHOP. We had a late breakfast at around 11 AM on a weekday. There were quite a few people there, but it was by no means crowded. Our section was *freezing.* It was clear that the heat was just completely not working. I've never been in a restaurant that cold. I ordered two-egg breakfast. I asked for white toast. Shockingly, they were out of white toast. I don't know how that happens, but I ordered rye toast instead. I also wanted to get a side of two sausages. This was an option on the menu, but my waiter explained that his system would only accept side orders of four sausages. This was apparently an insurmountable problem. When my food arrived, I was disappointed. If there's one thing that I could always count on, it was that IHOP would give me a nice big pile of potatoes. Not this time. The serving was measly. I was also disappointed to see that there was no toast. That eventually came out at the same time as the check. It was, like the restaurant itself, freezing. The value was terrible: $55 before tip for three breakfasts. I will say that this IHOP has some very amusing signs. There are *tons* of signs reminding you to keep a 6-foot distance. Then there was a very funny sign that I saw when the kitchen door opened warning cooks about coming to work high. Finally there was a sign on the bathroom door that said that only one person was allowed in at a time "For your protection." There were like 4 stalls in the bathroom, so this was rather strange. I wonder what happened in that bathroom! Edited to add: My wife pointed out that the sign on the bathroom is likely another Covid holdover. That's less amusing than how I had interpreted it. read more

The conditions at this IHOP are deplorable. It smelled like cat as soon as you walk inside the building. There was mold all over the ceiling. It had no ventilation, and the floors were slippery due to the humidity. There was a patron who was walking out and fell because the floor was nasty and slippery. Every syrup bottle was sticky and dirty!!!! It looked like they had never been cleaned. The only reason they get a star is because the staff was so polite, efficient and friendly. I was out on a Saturday morning & in the mood for breakfast. Everywhere I stopped by had a long wait list. I drove not IHOP & 1 other party was waiting to be seated. We were sat quickly in a both. This is not the same IHOP I used to take my children to when they were younger. Handed menu. Waitress was nice & funny. Some of the staff were arguing and using bad language. One of the male hostesses slipped & fell and started cussing loudly. The food was delivered and the vegan sausage was not good so I sent them back. The food was not warm in temperature. The French toast was good. Nice size portions. We were given plastic utensils to eat with. I asked for real utensils but never received them but I saw washed utensils on the table in the back that needed to be rolled. Came in on a rainy Sunday for a late lunch and while the food was solid, the service left A LOT to be desired. We were seated almost immediately, but unfortunately that was the highlight of our service. We ended up waiting almost 40 minutes just to get an order in! The server kept passing us by to let us know she hadn't forgotten us, but it didn't really matter since she didn't take our order until that point. We were ready to leave by the time she finally came around we were so hungry. While our section was full when we got there, it emptied out significantly during the time we waited. After we finally got our order in, we sat back and could hear other diners getting impatient to finally get their check (after asking a few times) or to get something they'd requested a while ago. So, clearly it wasn't just us. The food itself, by the time it arrived, was pretty good! I can definitely recommend the new biscuit menu, they're larger than a normal biscuit but a very good flavor! I've been at this location many times through the years and it can be pretty hit or miss. Thinking that it was a week day, early afternoon, I would take a chance. There was no wait, seated right away and the waitress very nice. I ordered a Colorado omelet, pancakes and coffee. The coffee was very weak. Really watered down. The waitress was nice enough to make a fresh pot. The coffee came out much better. I asked that my eggs NOT be over cooked. I don't like my eggs stiff and hard. Well......they came out over cooked, but didn't send it back. Sometimes it's best to leave things alone if you know what I mean! The pancakes are always good though! This IHOP has completely fell off. This food was disgusting. The wait was extremely long. The waiter didn't even introduce herself to tell us her name and was mumbling. My food came out cold and the turkey bacon took 20+ minutes to make. This was ridiculous. I normally like to eat my turkey bacon with my eggs and my eggs were even more cold waiting all that time for my turkey bacon. This IHOP is definitely not the same and I will not be returning here. This was my worst experience at any breakfast place. There was also just plastic utensils, no silverware. Don't come here. I think a better option would've been the IHOP in warrington. I never write reviews, but our experience last night was catastrophic. Our waiter was really nice and tried his best, but everything else was a disaster. They're out of half the things on the menu and we were even told they're out of ice for drinks. Plastic/take out utensils were placed on the table for us and any syrup or dressing we got was given to us in to-go cups. Half the food, which came out 45 mins after we ordered, was inedible. Missing items that were ordered and received items we didn't order. Were told the chef dropped pancakes on the ground and needed to remake them??? We were also the only people there. The entire experience made no sense unless the place is about to shutter its doors. This can't possibly be a restaurant that is actively trying to stay in business. I visited 5/8/19 my server name was Tierra, she was nice, attentive ...and only made a small mistake of forgetting to have the banana's inside my pancakes. Tierra checked on me a about 4-5 times while I was eating to make sure that I was alright, she smiled and didn't make me feel rushed in no way. This was my first visit here in about half a decade. Once I entered I was immediately sat by the hostess (I didn't catch her name) but she was rather polite as well. I had to take away a star because the bathrooms weren't clean...but all in all this seems to be a friendly location and I love that they offered turkey sausage links and patties....something that I noticed is that the prices here were higher than the other 2 IHOP's that's I visited this week that were located in the city. I wish i could give this place 0 stars. The windows, booths, floors were filthy. Not even exaggerating. There was a bug crawling on my table. I had to kill It and wipe down the table again myself. Why we still ate there???? My pregnant wife was craving breakfast and this was the only place open. My family including my wife and I all got FOOD POISONING the next day. I can not believe this place is actually up and running and approved to serve food. The staff ??? Don't even get me started. The woman slammed her hand on the counter 5 times to get our attention. Not all IHOPs are created equal, but in this case, this one is. It's just like any other IHOP I've ever been to except slightly smaller - speaking of which, their parking lot isn't huge. Good spot to go if you have time to kill between classes and you attend college nearby at, say, at Penn State Abington. I've had their Grand Slam breakfast which isn't bad at all. This location is definitely in need of some help in terms of service (more training?) and cleanliness (again training perhaps). We arrived and waited a bit in front to a mostly empty dining area - it being late night. Although we observed the hustle bustle of several workers there seemed to be hesitancy (confusion?) about getting us seated. Our bewildered hostess seated us at a table that we discovered was stained with previous patrons' food remains. My eggs arrived a bit overbooked but edible. My hot tea was delicious and generous. We had to remind waitress twice about the silverware even after our food arrived. Waitress was friendly and genuinely interested in providing good experience for us. No complaints from my son & my brother regarding their food. By they said they weren't impressed either. We tipped because we liked the waitress' friendly attentive demeanor. Overall, borderline decent food but in dire need of staff knowing how to provide bare bone basics typically expected at IHOP (clean table, prompt seating, silverware). So I may be biased because I've never been a fan of IHOP. My son and husband like this place for whatever reason. We stop here kind of frequently because of it's location near our Dr.'s office. My son usually orders the breakfast sampler which does come with a good amount of food for 12.99. It comes with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, home fries, 2 pieces of ham, 2 pieces of bacon and 2 sausage. My husband usually gets pancakes or French toast. They both like the food. I just get the grilled turkey bacon sandwich with tomato. Today when we went in we were told it would be a five minutes wait to be seated and we waited 20 minutes. When we were seated, we were seated in a broken up decrepit booth. This place really needs to be updated and deep cleaned. Unfortunately it seems like they only had two waitresses for about 12 tables so it wasn't their fault at all. They were working their butts off, they need to get some people in there to help them. The only reason it got two stars is because our waitress was nice and took care of us even though she was busy- we made sure to tip her well. Came in at 4:40 pm seated right away, got our drinks and starting choosing our orders, ordered and immediately once we got our food (mozzarella sticks) on the side of the plate was a alive mosquito, immediate disgust. This IHOP is a great inexpensive spot to get clean, friendly and expedient service. During these covid times, they were clearly following social distancing guidelines, the bus crew were very particular about how dining tables were bussed and cleaned off properly. The wait staff- today it was all females, and our server Mysheda was excellent. When there was a problem with an out of stock item, the assistant manager came to the table and offered a quick replacement. The staff were laughing while on the job, and I have been here at least 20 times in the last year and I am always smiling when I leave. Even the manager "Little Ed" took a moment off his international business IHOP call to greet us and make sure we were satisfied. Yes sir, we are! 12/18/2022 Went there hungry, we had to wait for 15min to be seated, then another 20mins for waiting for food, Our eggs were cold, no cheese. Slow bad service, the Waitress would just drop off the food and not come back for 10-15 mins. At least the Manager(Lady) sat down and offered to replace the meal, and also offered to remove my $10.99 from our tab. We paid for the meal at least she offered two choices. Though I enjoyed our server, Kendra, very funny & sweet; I didn't enjoy our food. It was disgusting. It reminded me of something that I could be served in jail. The waffle I ordered was hard like if I threw it in the wind it would fly back to me like a frisbee. My eggs were hard MY SCRAMBLED EGGS WERE HARD! Sausage was pretty good.. because it's sausage. My boo ordered the steak and it was sweet like they was trying cosplay Chinese beef and broccoli.. if it were severed in Candy Land. The omelette was pretty good. My wife and I had a taste for some of those famous IHOP pancakes. This particular location unfortunately was the nastiest restaurant I've been too. When we arrived, we waited to be seated for almost 10 minutes even though there were only 5 people dining. I noticed that tables hadn't been clean and it smelled horrible. One of the waitresses didn't have a mask on (even though a sign was posted outside mandating people be masked). We finally were seated, and our table was sticky. Our waitress was extremely nice as well as the other waitresses. We both ordered the chicken fajita omelettes. I noticed that the cook had no mask on. When our food came my wife used her sour cream and noticed that it smelled funny and tasted extra sour. She told the waitress as to give a heads up to other customers. Our omelettes were ok but not great. When I went to the bathroom, the floor was so slick that I almost fell. Walking back to my table I had to wipe my feet on the rug as not to fall. Overall experience was poor, it smelled like urine, and the food was not good. Bright spot, all the waitresses were very nice and accommodating. *7/7/21 Later that evening, both my wife and I have felt nauseous and have had upset stomachs going into the next day. Today my wife is felt sick and I've had an upset stomach. The common denominator is IHOP. We won't be going back ever again. It's dirty. read more
