Reasons I didn't give one star: It's conveniently located right at a highway and in a plaza with a mall and several other stores. The dining room was clean, but it should have been since only three tables had customers. I didn't see the bathroom. The staff did the bare minimum. There were at least two hostesses/waitresses. I saw two other young ladies sitting but they may have been cooks or on their break. When we arrived their were three other tables taken; each with two people. Our waitress sat us and didn't ask if we wanted drinks to start. A woman nearby got the waitresses attention before she zoomed by to tell her that there was an issue with her meal. We watched an episode of World of Gumball before the waitress returned to take our orders. My daughter ordered, then I ordered a sandwich and paused for an indication that she'd gotten that part and I could continue. As soon as I stopped talking she walked away. No "ok", "Anything else", "Is that all for you?", or "Alright. We'll get that started". I didn't finish saying what else I wanted for my sandwich and hadn't ordered a drink. The waitress walked through our section to other tables maybe twice. She never looked towards us for me to flag her down and didn't seem to hear me calling. At some point the woman who had previously complained became frustrated and just asked for her bill so she could leave. The waitress sat my daughter's drink down and was about to dash again before I stopped her and asked for a drink. My drink came a few minutes later. By the time our food came we'd watched another episode of the cartoon. My sandwich wasn't what I wanted of course because I didn't finish my order but it tasted fine for what it was. My daughter ordered a sunny side up over hard. It came regular (runny yolk. Not flipped.). She started to eat the egg white and said it tasted off. I tried it and the whites somehow felt runny or loose. I asked for salt and pepper that never came so when I spotted salt and pepper shakers on a table I went and grabbed those. The waitress checked on us once from the other side of a divider wall. We finished eating, moved our plates to the side, and waited for the bill. And we waited. And waited. She brought the bill. And we waited. And my daughter went to the bathroom. And I stacked our plates. And the waitress sat guests at the table next to ours. And she took their order as we stood at our table clearly ready to pay but she was sure to not make eye contact. I know that she was actively avoiding looking in our direction. We're STANDING, about three feet to her right. We're both turned towards her. My eyes are on her. Even the woman facing us looked up at me a few times. She took their order and walked away in the opposite direction of where we stood. I saw another hostess at the pickup counter at the entrance. I walked over to ask if I could pay there, but she'd walked away before I could catch her. So we stood there and waited a minute or two. I had my bill so I was about to leave and just call back to pay. From behind I hear "Are you ready :) !". It's our waitress. I paid and left. read more

Bottom line: Avoid this location. The owner publicly screamed at his staff in front of guests, blamed them for call-outs, and shoved my food at me when I requested a refund. Absolutely zero leadership. I placed a to-go order and arrived to find no line, but a DoorDash driver was already waiting because her online order was wrong and her coffee was missing. While we stood there, an individual who I later learned was the owner came storming out of the back, yelling at his workers to "take care of guests" rather than actually helping them. His behavior was shocking. He loudly announced that three workers had called out and blamed them for the delays in front of everyone. He also made a strange and uncomfortable point of saying he is "not from this country," which felt like an excuse for his poor attitude rather than a valid reason for the chaos. The hostess was trying her absolute hardest to salvage the service and help the other guests, but the owner spent the entire time chastising her and making her job impossible. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, I requested a refund. Instead of handling it professionally, he shoved the food at me with a dismissive, "we can't do anything with this now" attitude. As a corporate trainer for Delta Airlines who specializes in customer service, I can say with certainty that this is the worst leadership I have ever witnessed in a restaurant. A business succeeds or fails by its example, and this owner is failing his staff and his customers. Should have checked the reviews BEFORE I got here. Service is SILLY. Like any other person, I've been to millions of other IHOPs that are traditionally much much larger. But for some magical reason, the SEVEN SERVERS I've counted couldn't figure out how to come and take out order....for over 15/20 minutes. Please believe, I would have left and gone next door but it's myself, a 5, and 2 year old so relocation wasn't gonna work. I've seen two other parties come in, be seated, and have their orders taken since being here. I've also seen World Hunger be solved, the leaves fall and grow back, as well as the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Two parties near me ended up leaving. My husband and I walked into this IHOP and immediately walked right back out. The place was absolutely disgusting there were dead bugs on the floor, employees sitting around on their phones, and a horrible smell throughout the restaurant. We were visiting the area and were shocked at the condition of this location. The IHOPs in Florida are nothing like this. Party of 3 for Breakfast I have been here 2 times since my last review. Things are definitely trending in the right direction at this location. Today we had a little wait to be seated, but once we were seated everything moved smoothly. Our server was very nice and efficient. Our food came out fast and as expected. Both of my protein pancakes were beyond sour--tasting more like overly fermented sourdough--and were as stiff as boards, dry, and unappetizing. The scrambled egg whites had a hard brown crust covering almost half of the portion, making them tough and unappealing. To make matters worse, my glass was dirty with a thick, murky film on one side, and the only slice of banana in my fruit bowl was dark brown and slimy. When I brought these concerns to my server's attention, the manager came over and dismissively informed me, "All IHOPs follow the same protein pancake recipe, and they'll taste the exact same at every single IHOP." This was not only unhelpful but also inaccurate. I've patronized the IHOP on Main Street in Alpharetta, GA, where I ordered the same exact meal and had a completely different--and far better--experience. Worst experience I have every had at a IHOP, came in with a party of 8 for my daughters pre k graduation. Arrived around 1215 was seated right away did not receive my food until 120 and the only thing on my plate that was hot, was the hash browns. The rest of my plate including my pancakes were cold. Never refilled my drink and proceeded to bring out silver dollar pancakes when the order was for full size pancake. In addition to horrible service and management, the restaurant is a dump and hasn't been cleaned in years. Nothing else in the area is and the waffle houses close by are better all around except they have a awful habit of getting robbed. This place has long wait times for seating and food. It doesn't matter if it is busy or not. It seems to come from being short handed in one place or another. Wait staff is usually nice enough It's about the level of clean you can ask from a pancake house, but mind the table you are given if it very busy. The food is...pass or fail. Quite honestly, I didn't stay for the food. The service at the door was less than stellar. There was one adult for every 20 kids working. I'm glad IHOP hires youth. However, the server came to the table as if we were an inconvenience. I asked him how he was doing and he sluggishly replied that he was tired. Then the one adult that was in the building asked us to change tables to seat a larger party. We told her thank you but we would dine elsewhere. The food could have been amazing. This IHOP used to be a breakfast beacon, calling all seeking pancakes to come. However, walking into it this morning was sorrowful. Even the lobby was poorly maintained and shabby. Do not come here. I was served a drink and at the bottom of my drink I seen something that looked like gum or pink sugar in a drink of ice tea. I was so grossed out because I drank half of the cup after eating. The service was horrible. We had a waitress who was an adult who acted like a teenager. She made us wait for her while she was on her phone the entire time. Aside from all that and complaining to the manager they made us pay for the bill. My daughter pancake order was not what she ordered off the menu and took them over 20 minutes to for them to bring out what she ordered. Ihop used to be the best thing ever, but now it seems that all of their locations have been sullied with long wait times, sometimes impatient waitresses / hostesses, cocky cooks, and room space that is not suited to accommodate the large crowds they frequently boast, due to their constant circulation of promotions and coupons. So, here's the thing.... When you live OTP, as I do, there aren't many non-chain options for brunch. Regularly, my Sundays are spent meeting my father and his wife near Stonecrest Mall for brunch at IHOP. Granted, IHOP isn't the swankiest of brunch eateries, however in a pinch, and hung over after a night of one too many cocktails, if I throw on a pair of aviators, and hat I'm good to go, especially with my own pot of coffee. On Sundays there is almost always a wait, but its usually never more than 10-15 minutes. The wait staff is usually funny and super accommodating. I usually opt for the veggie omelet, with extra peppers and cheddar, a side of salsa and sour cream, insane amounts of black pepper, an english muffin and a side of fresh fruit. It's an insane amount of food, and while I can't finish all of it, a tummy full of eggs and coffee is just what the hangover ordered. The upside of this location is a very polite, very attractive, super adorable waiter, I know he gets paid to be accommodating to the IHOP patrons, however, I don't mind looking at him while he takes our order, it makes my headache a little better. read more

I live in the area and my family and I have made several attempts to support this establishment but have to walk out every time. No one comes to greet you was a waiter or waitress after being seated for at least 10 minutes.
