This place is the absolute pits. No business [the place was mostly empty] and no one interested in waiting on those that did come in. We got a lecture from the waitress for giving up and finally seating ourselves but in spite of the fact that we were seen when we walked in, no one even saw fit to so much as nod at us to acknowledge that we were there. The weakest coffee I have ever had. Seeing how the oil boom in this area is driving up labor rates, I think the management is trying to save money by running 2-3 pots through eat cup of grounds. I've had chamomile tea that was stronger and darker than the coffee! The waitress was nice and tried to help by supposedly brewing a fresh pot after we mentioned it. She said she had been hearing that complaint a lot and looked puzzled by it? When you can see the bottom of your full cup and 1 tiny creamer changes the color to something close to a latte, that should be a clue! The second newer pot was no better but we lied so as not to hurt her feelings. Eggs and hash browns were pretty typical of what you get at IHOP. Being from out of state visiting family I wanted something familiar from back home so I ordered at this location, which was about a 20 min drive from where I was staying. I called in my order and once I arrived to pick up my order they handed me two bags. My mistake was assuming that my order would be correct considering It isn't hard to double check what was ordered. I drove back and noticed that all our main entrees were missing. Not just one or two but this was like 4 of the orders of pancakes. Apart from this some of the pancakes that did make It home with me we're missing the eggs and bacon. After calling IHOP in frustration letting them know what they had given me they asked what I wanted them to do. I told them well I paid for It so I expect to get what I paid for. The girl on the phone told me I could get it later if I wanted that way I wouldn't have to drive back after just coming from there. But I told her what was the point of going later. So she put my order and I was about to leave to go get It but then realized that the other food we did receive would be cold. So I called back and let her know I would just like a full refund and I'll go take the food back. She let me know to come in so we can talk about It. I went in asked for my refund and the girl at the front told me my order was already being made. I told her I mentioned on the phone I wanted a refund so that's what I want. The manager came and apologized and refunded me everything but the taxes. When I asked the girl (not the manager because she had already walked away) why I wasn't getting the taxes back she explained that because the cooks already cooked the food. It's not my fault that they messed up my order. Any other place where you get a refund you typically get the full refund so I was confused. I let It go because It wasn't much. I don't like the service. Food was ok. The lady that was serving us was nice but she tends to do something else once she gets to the back. We asked her for a another round of drink and she forgets and took a while to get back. That's not supposed to be. Asked for a ranch sauce since she only served the red one and the male server I asked didn't come back. Instead I had to ask the lady server again. Of which she says "I'm sorry" again. She even admitted that every time she gets to the back they always give her something to do and eventually forgets what we asked for. I believe her name is Sara because that is what is one the check. As busy as any other ihop. Clean facility. Service is good. We didn't ask for check, because we were gonna order dessert. But the girl brought it anyway. After that she didn't offer any further assistance as if she was done with us. We ordered vanilla iced coffee. When brought refill it tastes like mocha. When we asked for more vanilla, the girl said that the one she brought us was vanilla. And then she asked if we needed anything else. Meaning she wasn't gonna do anything about it. Had the worst experience at this IHOP WOST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! We had a table with 8 people celebrating a birthday, the waiter there had no clue what he was doing while taking the order, it took one hour and thirty minutes for our breakfast to arrive, we were missing one plate that apparently was never put on the order, the waiter was very rude when we that person try to re-order the meal she asked how long it will take and he responded DO YOU WHAT IT OR NOT? she ended up not ordering since we had already been there for a long time we all we all decided to share from our meal so she could eat something. I order a side of wheat bread and it had a long human hair on it which I asked to be taken back, on top of that the waiter did attend the table regularly to see what was needed we asked for hot syrup that we never got, also the coffee was like water, and it turns out that coffee had already been on that table since early but, was never picked up from that table. After all this mess and bad experience we did not received any sort of apology or some kind of empathy for what had happened not only that but, they wanted to charge one side of wheat toast to the birthday girl when her order came with a side of toast. Once again this people don't have a clue what CUSTOMER SERVICE is and I do not recommend this place. From now on we will go somewhere else. read more

This place is very dirty! Floors, doors, and windows are extremely dirty, got sit by the kitchen and kitchen looked disgusting and disorganized. Too crowded and too small! employees were not dress appropriately and looked unprofessional. Do not recommend to eat at this location. read more

I time the time we were seated and to get our drink order was 11 minutes and once we got our drinks it took another 10 minutes for her to come back. They was not to busy. If I could give it 0 stars I would.We were seated immediately but after 15 minutes the BUS BOY brought us our drinks. After waiting another 15 minutes for our server she finally took our order. After waiting another 45 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes after arrival) we asked to speak to a manager but instead our server came out and told us that the managers were in the kitchen helping and that people were waiting for up to 1 hour and 45 minutes for their meal. We always go to IHOP on Sundays. Last Sunday the service was so bad. All the waitress were new and no one knew what they were doing. We had to ask for syrup and got it after our pancakes had been sitting there for a long time. Lots of people in the waiting room and lots of empty tables with lots of waitress not knowing what they were doing. We used to enjoy this place but are going to find another place for Sunday Breakfast. read more

Service was great. The food was pretty good, but my omelet was just a little bland but still very good and fluffy. It was a full house. There were tons of people waiting. Sunday morning we went to IHOP in Odessa, and yes they were busy. We got on the list, but we were passed over when it came our turn. After 3 parties were seated that arrived after we did I asked, and they said we got skipped. No apology whatsoever, except the manager said he would give us a special table which was right next to the door to the kitchen. Since they were so busy we said fine, but after 10 minutes we still hadn't been waited on. The table proved to be very uncomfortable due to excessive noise from the kitchen and a constant cold draft. I went to the front and requested another table. The response was "We are slammed...TAKE IT or LEAVE IT. No offer to even give me the next or a subsequent table. We left. Service was excellent. Ruben took care of me this morning and did an excellent job and deserves recognition. When I first arrived, there was a line of people waiting to be seated but even with the crowd, I only had to wait a few minutes to get a table. I was seated and just had to wait a few minutes to be served. The restaurant was full and very busy. The manager came out of her way and got me coffee and then Ruben came right behind her. They are very friendly folks. Ruben took my order and I was prepared to wait a while because of such a busy place but to my surprise the food came out less than 5 minutes after placing my order. No complaints. I have to give all involved 5 stars for my experience there this morning. read more

Was here for lunch. got seated right away. the couple seated after us was served first. unfortunately that was just the beginning. finally a girl came around got our drink orders. we had to ask for silverware. she said they didnt have any rolled. she took our food order and informed us they were out of crepes except for wheat ones. fine. i had to ask for a straw to stir my coffee. we waited. and waited. she checked the food. nothing. the people seated after us finished their food. we finally received our food and she informed me they were out of strawberries for my strawberry banana crepe. fine whatever. at this point i was just hungry. had to ask for silverware as she never brought any. asked her for napkins and she decided ringing people up at the register was more important. i got up to get them myself. asked for water and it smelled like lake water. overheard one of the girls say they were out of water. um...that means you are to stop serving food if you have no running water. whoever runs this place needs to figure this stuff out. this was a horrible experience and i will never return or recommend them. very very unorganized. would have really liked to have received an apology or something but she seemed as if this happens all the time. read more
