First time I've ever been here so let's get into it. The portions are actually massive, which makes sense on the price of each burrito being about $6 from the breakfast menu. I got 2 burritos , one was sausage and egg, and while it was very filling it tasted like tortilla... that's it...I could only taste the tortilla(egg generally doesn't have much flavor but was bummed no flavor from sausage). We also got the bacon egg burrito with cheese and potato added. Of course I was surprised that it made it nearly a $10 burrito but the portions make sense to a degree. Nearly 2 dollars to add less than a palm size of shredded cheese is kinda crazy, however the potatoes were in-fact amazing and the portion was pretty close to worth $3. I have visited this place three times, this month.. use to be my hot spot for burritos. It has gone down so much and they just throw slob on a burrito and go. Last visit ordered a burrito with only beans and cheese. The beans were cold and the cheese was refrigerated cold which I understand... But who wants to eat a cold Bean and cheese burrito... I've been looking for a good burrito in Texas for over 14 months. This is not the place. The food is fair, just not in a good place to call Burreria. Burritos are a fail, however the corn tortillas (fresh) are a good selection for tacos. The meat is a little to thick for my liking. I asked for guacamole, they offered Aguacate, and then didn't put it on the plate. The Salsa kicks, but no flavor. For what it is, not worth it. Went here for the first time. Some people may like this for the large portions and cheap price. But the eggs in the breakfast tacos seemed dry. Tortillas are massive! I prefer smaller breakfast burritos with the eggs not so dry. Eggs were rubbery and bacon was odd. Wasn't a lot of flavor. The green hot sauce was really spicy and flavorful. Service was friendly and great!!! Probably in the minority with this review because I can see why people would love this restaurant. The tortilla is store bought , flat and rubbery , and the egg was dried out and not one burrito had any bacon in them at all. Not a piece. I saw the overall rating and decided to give this place a try. Big mistake. I paid $19 for four breakfast tacos and one bottle of water, which was their label and most likely Odessa tap water. We waited forever for tacos that contained rubber eggs, tough brisket, and a small amount of cheese. I am not sure how they overlooked the eggs with as many burritos they were cranking out. My friend and I both left about half of our food and walked out. Way too much money spent on mediocre breakfast. I assume that "Oilfield Money" means you can charge too much for too little.
