He tried to explain things, but it made absolutely zero sense. He said the machine/software they use automatically adds those fees when you order online but pay in person. I asked if I could cancel the order and go to the bar to order, and he said the fees would still apply. The ONLY solution, he said was to reorder online and pay online. What kind of sense does that make? Why is it more expensive to place a to-go order in person than online? Be that as it may, he canceled my order, and I resubmitted online without the fees. The fees brough my order to $92 (from $77, mind you). It is a complete disgrace and abomination how their system works, but the manager was very accommodating and corrected the issue. I substituted the grits for the potatoes on the Classic. That's two cage free eggs, four slices of bacon, and whole grain thick sliced toast. You can have smoked ham or turkey or pork sausage links or chicken sausage patties and gluten free bread is also available (no charge to substitute). So they are really going for the healthier options and conscience of providing good choices. My eggs were correctly done over medium. My buddy had turkey sausage biscuits and gravy, two eggs and grits. Coffee is decent, and they set a carafe on the table as well as a milk jug/wine carafe of cold water.
