Although I was on a large tour that offered a pre-fixe meal and there was an area that could accommodate so many people, it appeared that the restaurant was a little overwhelmed with our group. The two servers appeared frazzled and aggravated by the many requests and the food and drink orders. They did not seem happy by a few people who had to ask for something. I ordered the chicken souvlaki. I thought there would be two skewers, but there was only one. The bed of rice was unfortunately way undercooked with several kernels crunchy and raw. Additionally it was flavor-less too. What a bummer because the plate actually looked good. The one skewer of chicken was overcooked and dry. There was zero juice left in it. The Greek salad was good, but it was nestled between the hot food which since it was salad probably would have been best to be in a separate bowl. There was one dolmades that was good too. Overall, I heard others in my group who chose either the pork chops or the catfish and felt that they had a very good meal. Unfortunately, I can only attest to the meal I ate. I don't think I would ever need to return unless I ordered something else. Meanwhile the desserts looked pretty good in the case. Our meal came with a min cannoli which was very tasty. Overall, I would bare caution as a Yelp elite to offer my suggestion as a must try at this restaurant and since I am neither a regular nor a local, I would encourage you to check out all the reviews before making your decision. I was outside my normal stomping grounds and stumbled across this place. It was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. Try the potato fritter like things (can't recall the name of them) and you'll want more. Everything I had was fresh, perfectly cooked, and perfectly seasoned. Went here yesterday for lunch while we were in town visiting a friend and doing some shopping . It was rainy and dreary day . But this place was outstanding in the terms of food and service . The apple pie I ordered was fine but the Ala mode I asked for came out small it wasn't much lager than a melon ball My wife's chocolate cake was dry and without much taste. Then I got the bill. First time trying here, it was 11am on Sunday and we were scared it was going to be packed. While it was crowded, we were surprisingly seated within 2 minutes of stepping foot in the door. We didn't even have enough time to look at their mouth watering rotating display of desserts at the entrance (but trust me we went back to check it out when it came time for dessert! YUM!) Our waitress, Rachel, was incredibly knowledgeable and sweet! The food was fast, incredible, and offered a very home cooked feel. Even when the restaurant was near capacity, our food came out in less than 10 minutes. They served breakfast all day so I was able to munch on my favorite meal of the day while my husband had lunch and key lime pie for dessert. It was the perfect combo for this couple! I had the chicken fried chicken with saw mill gravy, okra and Mac and cheese. My meal was ok, nothing outstanding or that would make me rush to get food here again. The chicken was tender, but had very little seasoning. The Mac and cheese was just that, macaroni with cheese sauce, not what I was expecting, but I should have expected this, the rice just happened to be in the container I didn't order it. This place was hopping around noon on a Friday afternoon. It evidently is a favorite for locals. The hubby and I were enjoying a leisurely lunch but the turnover was quick for those around us. It took us several minutes to peruse the extensive menu. The hubby decided on a salad and a Ham Club Sandwich. The salad was beautiful with perfectly ripened cucumbers and tomatoes. The Club was just the right size and it didn't fall apart which is always a plus. The server brought a basket of cornbread and rolls. The warm, sweet cornbread just melted in your mouth.
