Most people aren't coming to IKEA for a gourmet meal, but if you know what you're in for, it hits the spot every time. Ikea warehouses are extremely diverse, with shopping, childcare, and food galore. Their cafe houses a crowd favorite Swedish meatball meal that traditionally comes with lingenberry, mashed potatoes, and peas! It's all very good for cafe food, and is pretty reasonably priced at $9.99 per meal, including the drink.

Big and fabulous! So many ways to organize and decorate your room. I was amazed at the selection and at how many helpful staff members were available to assist. There is also a cute cafe with some lovely Swedish food offerings . I tried it too. Vegan Swedish meatballs. I look forward to returning!

After a flood that took out the basement last year, we needed to replace a ton of furniture that got eaten by dangerous mold spores. Queue a family trip to IKEA, the amusement park equivalent in the commercial furniture industry. As an industrial designer who used to design furniture and office equipment, I've always loved touring the showrooms and taking a close look at the products here. It's great being able to see and test things out before committing to purchasing them. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to meander the floor as it's easy to get distracted and sidetracked! Due to the wear on the floor samples though, we did spot some broken furniture, and my mother nearly had a mishap on a chair that was unexpectedly coming apart at the seams. I'm not sure what the standards are on checking to make sure samples are safe for the public to test, but we let an employee know about that particular chair. Based on my recent experiences here, I think the floor units should be switched out more frequently or inspected more often (especially chairs). Children, in particular, seem to go nuts here and jump or crash on everything. Note to parents of small children -- please be aware that samples can be worn and pose a safety issue, and to please prevent them from wreaking havoc if they are so inclined. To everyone else testing floor samples, inspect it before you test it! Another accessibility and safety issue I noticed is the lack of contrast on the gray stairs. Especially for people who are visually-impaired, the gray stairs can be very dangerous navigating. It's easy to miss a step you can't see or discern. Even for people who do not have vision concerns, the lack of contrast can still make the steps hard to see, especially under flat indoor lighting. I wish I'd taken a photo of that this time around. Anyway, stay vigilant, mind the gap, and if you see something, say something! Now go have fun.

Not sure why everyone decides to gather their babies here, since it is an adult furniture store, but anyway haven't been to one of these in years as our residence had changed and didn't really need anymore things. There seems to be something for all tastes here.

You truly can never go wrong with IKEA. IKEA is such a classic with such a vast store with options for days. Driving up this IKEA, I was greeted by the standard blue and yellow exterior. Walking in I got the sense that I was in a parallel dimension where it just felt like comfort. I could post about IKEA for days, but my thoughts are a couple. 1.) There was a lot of items missing from this location which made it inconvenient 2.) The food court is a classic - inexpensive, bland, but a vital part of IKEA. We ordered the meatballs and salmon dishes. Salmon curry sauce was amazing but everything else was under seasoned. Unless there are other furniture store recommendations, will be back!

[1167] 1/2021 This IKEA is on the smaller side and the parking lot shows it. Although that didn't stop people from coming. We arrived early with no issues with parking. When we left people were having a hard time. The set up is the same in all the Ikeas I visited. I wanted containers but someone messed up and put the lid and no containers. The smaller containers w no lid. No one was around to ask so we eventually left. I'll be back

An example of how a retailer had over 3 months to prepare or prepare their staff. But didn't. For a family-oriented business whose message is progressive, this is an epic failure. The half-hearted attempt to adhere to safety is REALLY poor. The new layout confuses staff. So they can't help. It is too obvious they haven't had the training nor the management guidance. Then, the checkout line. About two hundred customers deep with no proper spacing side to side. Had to abandon cart and leave.

I like ikea. It's fun to go and walk through the market area, get ideas and pick up some stuff for the house. The website wouldn't allow me to place an order to be shipped to my home. It also didn't offer pick up at the store closes to me. It did provide this location as a choice for pick up so I decided I'd go there over the weekend since it's not near me, at all. I would have preferred to order for pick up so it would be ready but it assigns you a day and two hour window for pick up. It doesn't feel very customer friendly. Long story short, they didn't have what I wanted in stock. I wasn't happy. I purchased them in a different color, but I wasn't thrilled. Hopefully they get their website/shipping in order soon.

Nice versatile cabinent set up. Love the color.

I love Ikea and the Ikea experience but I will not be coming to this location again. Customer service is sub par. No greetings and I was in the store for an hour and a half. Grabbed some food from the cafe at the exit only to be told that they only had pickled mushroom chips and no drinks except Icees. Also, asked a question in warehouse, and employee was upset. Go to South Philly location. A little busier but much more friendly.

Went there for plants and end up having dinner there! I always thought they only have Swedish meatballs in the cafeteria, until I went there on a Sunday! There had a wide range of selection of cakes, salads and so on. The cured salmon was decent, and I love their vegetable soup, also don't forget their 1$ unlimited fountain drink! The pear soda is my go to, you can't easier find it anywhere else. Anything you see in there you can add it to your home no matter it is the food, or the dinner wears, even the decorations. What is better than that?

Been a long time since I've visited an ikea. Since we're moving soon we decided to take a look at the furniture they have as we're probably going to sell what we have and start over again. Staff here was very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. The team that was serving food were great with the kids. Good stuff all around.

I recently tried IKEA's cafeteria and had their meatball meal with mashed potatoes, peas, and jam. It was deliciously cooked and priced at $9. Parking was easy, and the service was fast. Recommended!

When I called the manufacturer they said they couldn't help me because I wasn't a distributor. I looked for local distributors and found Hunter Kitchen & Bath in Bryn Mawr, PA. I was afraid that they wouldn't give me the time of day since I wasn't ordering kitchen cabinets or bathtubs or sinks, but just a replacement key. I was REALLY pleasantly surprised when I spoke with Chad, who couldn't have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful!! EVEN FOR JUST A KEY! He took the time to look up the Hafale catalogue and found the item I needed and agreed to order it and have it sent to my house at no charge. I can't wait to do business with him and his company as soon as I need to redecorate.

Review: Hunter Kitchen and Bath…read more I'm sad to review this contractor with a one star review. I met with Chad Hunter (owner of Hunter kitchen and bath, Bryn Mawr PA) to renovate my small 6-by-9-foot bathroom. No plumbing had to be relocated, no shower door (I was ok with a shower curtain), same existing window... but yes new tiles, certainly upgraded electrics and lighting, and a heated floor. We met a couple of times and he mentioned a $60k figure. It was considerably more than I had budgeted ($40,000) - but I'd consider it if it was the total all-in price. I don't really have a handle on construction costs but it's a tiny space, and I do have a handle on sixty thousand dollars: it's a lot of money. I paid him a $1,500 up-front deposit for renderings and to quote. I met with him and his designer a couple of times. After a few months he set a meeting in his office to present the renderings and the quote. He showed me a computer rendering then placed a contract in front of me to sign. It was for $90,000, plus an additional 10% to 15% allowance for cost overruns. I guess he saw me gasp when he showed me that figure. He said I had selected additional items over standard. Really? Thirty thousand dollars over his list price in cost overruns... for such a small space: a 6 foot by 9 foot bathroom. A hundred thousand dollar bathroom? OK, yes, I wanted a handheld shower head in addition to an overhead shower head. And yes, I wanted a walk-in shower with a linear drain. But a $30,000 plus-plus increase in cost? I lost all faith in him and refused to sign his proposal. I said I'd take the renderings as I paid for them and would leave. He told me they were his propriety property, I could only get a credit for the deposit if he got the contract. Or, I could look at them if I came back to his storefront. Right. So if I didn't pay for or receive the computer renderings - I asked for my deposit back. He said non-refundable. So I guess I paid one thousand five hundred dollars for the privilege of having him quote. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but that doesn't sound like something I'd agreed to. I'm almost 80 years old and maybe he just takes advantage of older people. 3 days later he tried to apply damage control and mailed over a quote for $60,000 which I never looked-at having lost all confidence and trust in him. He mentioned he could do the renovation for $60 thousand dollars but it wouldn't be what I wanted. I already have something I don't want; and I really don't want to spend $60 thousand dollars and have something else I don't want. And now, I don't want the drawings - I just want my deposit back. I'm really glad I didn't use Hunter Kitchen and Bath as I'm afraid something awful would occur once the construction started and the price would escalate - that could have been so much worse, and could have potentially been much much more costly - with no way out. One star. Based on my own experience I can't recommend this firm.

We were extremely clear that the seating needed to be unobstructed--essentially, a counter-height table extension from the cabinets. The final design we approved included an apron, but no measurements were provided to explain how it would impact stool clearance. The rendering even showed five stools at the island, which gave us confidence that it would work as intended. Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. Because of a poorly designed apron, it is physically impossible to fit standard counter-height stools under the island. The clearance is so low that no stool exists that both fits under the island and allows you to sit and eat comfortably. In other words, the centerpiece of our kitchen--the island seating--is a total failure. It is appalling that a professional kitchen designer would overlook such a basic and critical detail. We assumed we could trust her expertise, but that assumption has left us with an island that cannot function as designed and no reasonable options to fix it without a major renovation. If you are considering working with this company, be warned: do not assume the designer has considered the practical details. Double-check every measurement yourself, because we learned the hard way that they do not.
