Went to a dumpling cooking class. Was surprised we were partnered with another couple and in a cramped space. Thankfully it helped out having additional friendly hands. Split the tasks accordingly and (mostly) evenly. Learned a lot even though instructor was moving fast. Most of it could be self taught from the Internet but the more meaningful skills came from watching and being directly instructed by the chefs how to handle the knife, fold the dumplings, etc. Trying to replicate our success ourselves!

I had a great time attending Sur La Table cooking class! I decided to attend the Spring time cupcakes class as a gift to celebrate my birthday. Registering for the class was easy. You simply go to their website and you can select an array of their classes from savory to sweet. Sur la table is located in the King of Prussia Mall. Once I arrived, I was joined with 15 people in the class along with two instructors. We were paired in a group of 5 and we made strawberry lemonade and strawberry and cream cupcakes. The instructors were very attentive and explained each step on how to make the cupcakes. We even made the buttercream frosting from scratch. Overall the class was very fun and it cost 59.00 for an amazing experience. We got to take our cupcakes home and I'm definitely looking forward to trying their other cooking classes!

I have taken two different classes here with my mom and both have been wonderful opportunities for us to bond and sharpen our cooking skills. Our classes were centered around a meal and the way the space was oriented and the amount of people in the class resulted in us splitting into two larger groups to cook two family style meals. If you have a larger group and would like to stay together, it's easy to ask the group and figure it out as it's an understandable request. The instructors I have had (Dylan and Michael) were both extremely nice and patient. Because our classes were centered around meals (vs. baking croissants or individual pieces of food), it was a bit more observational when it came to cooking but we all practiced knife skills to prep. Yes this is in a retail store, so of course they encourage sales, especially with a 10% coupon, so why not! I like that I can feel inspired in the class and go out and buy what I need to recreate what I have made. I would recommend these classes as a gift or a date idea or a "just because" excursion. Plus it's inside the KOP mall so there's plenty of other places to visit.

[742] This Sur La Table location is located inside of the King of Prussia Mall. Plenty of mall parking. I've been wanting to try a cooking class here for years, so I was happy my cousin wanted to join me. We picked " Fresh Mexican Cooking" class which was great! It was small group so not sure how the room would accommodate 16. We learned a bunch of different things including how to properly hold a knife. The food items we made: Homemade Tortillas Chicken Tinga Tostadas with Refried Beans and Mexican Crema Charred Tomato Chilaquiles with Queso Fresco You're able to eat what you make at the end of the class and it was all amazing. I even used the coupon given during class to buy a tostada press among other things. You can NOT take food home so make sure you have a half empty belly. At the end of the class you can shop even though the mall/store is closed. We were never rushed. If you sign up for another cooking class, you receive $ off if you sign up the same day. I wish I knew because I would have picked out a date beforehand. Oh well. Next time. I'm going to sign up for another class today I'll be back.

This is clearly a place where I could get into trouble. If you love kitchen gadgetry, knives, and pots and pans which I do Sur la Table is the place to be. They are packed to the rafters in there so if you are looking for something specific it's best to ask. If not you can spend a little time wandering and discovering. The spatchula collection here is out of this world. Who knew.

Finished products - French date night (goat cheese soufflé)

Came here for a date night cooking class: French food. On the menu was pan roasted chicken thighs with a lovely tarragon sauce, goat cheese soufflé, salad with bacon lardons and a poached egg and a vanilla cream stuffed puff pastry with chocolate drizzle. Staff was friendly and helpful. The class was fun and Chef made everything accessible and gave us lots of options to change up the dishes at home. Would definitely do this again for date night, girls night or just for fun.

So for my birthday gift, my wife got us a dumpling class at this location. For a total experience, we really had fun. After reading some of the reviews I could pick up in some criticism points. Because the size of the space, you're not totally cooking everything. The majority of the class is the prep work for the dishes, and in this case we got a 10 minute break while the instructors steamed all the dumplings we prepared. On the upside, I didn't feel much pressure to purchase anything. Sure, there was a little reference other classes, a 10% coupon, and mentioning the cookbooks they recipes are taken from, but it wasn't that intense at all. For the class and recipes, it was a nice take. Fairly simple, but I really love to cook and experiment at home. Someone completely new to this would find it very approachable. We made two types of dumplings (A modified Korean recipe and a Vietnamese recipe), plus a string bean side dish (Chinese). The Vietnamese dumpling was a little bland, but it could easily be remedied with some simple additions to the recipe or even a basic side sauce for dipping.

We hd an amazing time during the Not Your Grandma's ravioli night. We made our own ravioli dough from scratch and used the kitchenaid pasta maker attachment. This was a lot easier than I expected. The instructors were extremely personable and helpful. They stuck around and chatted with us after we enjoyed our dinner. We signed up for another class the same night! Cannot wait to try this on our own!

We really enjoyed their pasta making class!

DO NOT BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE HERE!…read more As a special birthday gift during my pregnancy, my husband bought a $300 gift card from the Le Creuset store in King of Prussia, PA. This was during the pandemic and we did not find out until later that their gift certificates don't work on their website, only in store. Annoying, but fine. It took us a long time to get back to the store because of baby/pandemic, but we finally made the trip and picked out a new pan together only to be told that our gift certificate only had $50 on it. We were told to call customer service during business hours. We confirmed on our bank statement that we had paid $300. We called that Monday and were told to email customer service, which we did. With not a hint of concern or apology, we were told the card was already used in South Carolina. We explained that was not possible as it had not left my desk in Pennsylvania. We were then told that they meant it was used in Virginia, where we had also not been. When i suggested that an employee could have accidentally entered the wrong number and used our card, they insisted cards can only be used in person. When i suggested that they check surveillance footage since it should be possible to prove we had not been there, they stopped answering. A few weeks later when we emailed again about next steps/said that we would like to file a report, they sent us another short, unsympathetic, no refunds email. Its not a huge amount of money, but its a lot more to us than to a massive international luxury brand. I was horrified at the lack of any attempt to make things right or make any effort at customer service. If you really want a Le Creuset product (they used to be my favorite), do yourself a favor and purchase one from a store like Williams Sonoma or any other business that holds itself accountable and will look out for their customers.

Some practical, a rice cooker for instance with a vented insert that prevents boil over and some purely fantastical, do I really need an individual sized Dutch oven? Probably not, but it was so cute! If you fancy yourself an aspiring gourmand then a LeCruset piece is a definite must. The quality can't be beat. I have burned a dish beyond recognition and the pot scoured clean with ease. And of course there are the colors, not unlike Fiestaware, it's a rainbow. Yes the price tag may seem hefty but you will never have to buy the same item ever again.

It may just be familiarity, but all-in-all I think Conshohocken offers a pretty good shopping experience. Living in a studio with another person, even part-time, offers challenges. With limited square footage, I maximize floor space and -- because aesthetics are important -- keep everything to scale. I solved practical problems with recent Ikea purchases: ** There's little room between our apartment-sized couch and the wall-mounted tv. Most coffee tables are too big, but Ikea stocks a basic parson coffee table that meets my dimensions. A bonus that it's only $29.99! ** Limited storage problems are solved with Ikea boxes designed to store shoes. We hung them inside closets and by the front door, now filled with hats, gloves, underwear, dish towels -- really everything BUT shoes. ** The place is too small for dinner parties, but c'mon over for wine and charcuterie! Two Ikea wine racks one-over-the-other, maximizes space. Functional, plus I like the way it looks. While Ikea is great for college students and folks starting out, the store continues to be a valuable resource for a number of my needs.

We quite literally didn't have a couch at all but knew we'd have to wait a few weeks for delivery, so no problem with our expectations there. Our initial appointment was on October 5, 2025. The designer (apologies, I don't remember his name) was very friendly and easy to work with, he seemed to understand what we were looking for and helped us to find the perfect 3 piece sectional and coffee table set. For context, when placing the order in store with one of the designers, the designer enters everything into the computer and handles payment, all of that. We had no reason to think that anything was wrong. Upon placing the order, we were told that it would take 4 to 6 weeks and to expect the couch around the end of November, but before the holidays. No problem at all. We went about our life and waited for a phone call. On November 5th my husband pulled up the original order confirmation to see if we could find any sort of tracking information. Thank God he looked. The order of our sectional with three pieces was wrong. One of the pieces was ordered in a completely different color!! Of course we called right away, and I was unable to get a hold of our designer but spoke with a manager (I believe her name is Lynette) who seemed to have the appropriate amount of concern for the situation. She told me that the problem was that changing the color to what I actually ordered may hold up the production and could tack additional time onto our wait. I told her this was honestly unacceptable - we had placed the order in early October, been told to expect it by the end of November and with the holidays coming we absolutely needed our couch. This was a mistake that they had made when their designer had inputted the information incorrectly and now we needed to wait even longer? Lynette arranged for the delivery of our partial couch (2 of the pieces) on November 18. For the record, the delivery team was absolutely amazing. We had two odd pieces of our couch and not anywhere near enough seating for guests for the holidays. It was embarrassing and infuriating. The rest of our couch FINALLY arrived on December 18, an entire MONTH longer than it should have. We are very happy with the couch itself and its quality, but I did expect some follow up from the store manager and some sort of customer service gesture because of all of this. We are super disappointed in our experience and I feel like I need to warn other potential customers so they can avoid the same situation. SUPER IMPORTANT FYI - the manager even told me that this was not the first time this had happened! She made it sound as though there was some sort of a glitch in the software and while perhaps was not user error, if that's the case then why are all orders not double and triple checked to make sure that they're accurate? This is not the level of customer service that I expected from Crate&Barrel and want to make sure to let others know that this is a problem so that you can make sure you double and triple check your own orders since it doesn't seem as though they do.
